| 1 Does any one of you, when he has a case against his neighbor, dare to go to law before the unrighteous and not before the saints? | 1 Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints? | 1 When one of you has a complaint against another, how dare you go to court to settle the matter in front of wicked people. Why don't you settle it in front of God's holy people? | 1 Dare any of you, having a matter against his neighbor, go to law before the unrighteous, and not before the saints? | 1 Dare any one of you, having a matter against another, prosecute his suit before the unjust, and not before the saints? | 2 Or do you not know that the saints will judge the world? If the world is judged by you, are you not competent to constitute the smallest law courts? | 2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters? | 2 Don't you know that God's people will judge the world? So if you're going to judge the world, aren't you capable of judging insignificant cases? | 2 Don't you know that the saints will judge the world? Is it so, that there is not among you one wise man who will be able to decide between his brethren, | 5 I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren? | 5 You should be ashamed of yourselves! Don't you have at least one wise person who is able to settle disagreements between believers? | 5 I say this to move you to shame. Isn't there even one wise man among you who would be able to decide between his brothers? | 5 I speak to you to put you to shame. You do this even to your brethren. | 8 Nay, ye do wrong, and defraud, and that your brethren. | 8 Instead, you do wrong and cheat, and you do this to other believers. | 8 No, but you yourselves do wrong, and defraud, and that against your brothers. | 8 But ye do wrong, and defraud, and this your brethren. | 9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, | 9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, | 9 Don't you know that wicked people won't inherit the kingdom of God? Stop deceiving yourselves! People who continue to commit sexual sins, who worship false gods, those who commit adultery, homosexuals, | 9 Or don't you know that the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don't be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, | 9 Do ye not know that unrighteous persons shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Other sins that people commit don't affect their bodies the same way sexual sins do. People who sin sexually sin against their own bodies. | 18 Flee sexual immorality! "Every sin that a man does is outside the body," but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. | 18 Flee fornication. Every sin which a man may practise is without the body, but he that commits fornication sins against his own body. | 19 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? | 19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? | 19 Don't you know that your body is a temple that belongs to the Holy Spirit? The Holy Spirit, whom you received from God, lives in you.
