Jonah’s Prayer
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
 Then Jonah prayed to the LORD his God from the stomach of the fish,1 Then Jonah prayed unto the LORD his God out of the fish's belly,1 From inside the fish Jonah prayed to the LORD his God.1 Then Jonah prayed to Yahweh, his God, out of the fish's belly.1 And Jonah prayed unto Jehovah his God out of the fish's belly;
 and he said, "I called out of my distress to the LORD, And He answered me. I cried for help from the depth of Sheol; You heard my voice.2 And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice.2 Jonah prayed: "I called to the LORD in my distress, and he answered me. From the depths of my [watery] grave I cried for help, and you heard my cry.2 He said, "I called because of my affliction to Yahweh. He answered me. Out of the belly of Sheol I cried. You heard my voice.2 and he said: I cried by reason of my distress unto Jehovah, and he answered me; Out of the belly of Sheol cried I: thou heardest my voice.
 "For You had cast me into the deep, Into the heart of the seas, And the current engulfed me. All Your breakers and billows passed over me.3 For thou hadst cast me into the deep, in the midst of the seas; and the floods compassed me about: all thy billows and thy waves passed over me.3 You threw me into the deep, into the depths of the sea, and water surrounded me. All the whitecaps on your waves have swept over me.3 For you threw me into the depths, in the heart of the seas. The flood was all around me. All your waves and your billows passed over me.3 For thou didst cast me into the depth, into the heart of the seas, And the flood was round about me: All thy breakers and thy billows are gone over me.
 "So I said, 'I have been expelled from Your sight. Nevertheless I will look again toward Your holy temple.'4 Then I said, I am cast out of thy sight; yet I will look again toward thy holy temple.4 "Then I thought, 'I have been banished from your sight. Will I ever see your holy temple again?'4 I said, 'I have been banished from your sight; yet I will look again toward your holy temple.'4 And I said, I am cast out from before thine eyes, Yet will I look again toward thy holy temple.
 "Water encompassed me to the point of death. The great deep engulfed me, Weeds were wrapped around my head.5 The waters compassed me about, even to the soul: the depth closed me round about, the weeds were wrapped about my head.5 "Water surrounded me, threatening my life. The deep [sea] covered me completely. Seaweed was wrapped around my head.5 The waters surrounded me, even to the soul. The deep was around me. The weeds were wrapped around my head.5 The waters encompassed me, to the soul: The deep was round about me, The weeds were wrapped about my head.

 "I descended to the roots of the mountains. The earth with its bars was around me forever, But You have brought up my life from the pit, O LORD my God.6 I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth with her bars was about me for ever: yet hast thou brought up my life from corruption, O LORD my God.6 I sank to the foot of the mountains. I sank to the bottom, where bars held me forever. But you brought me back from the pit, O LORD, my God.6 I went down to the bottoms of the mountains. The earth barred me in forever: yet have you brought up my life from the pit, Yahweh my God.6 I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; The bars of the earth closed upon me for ever: But thou hast brought up my life from the pit, O Jehovah my God.
 "While I was fainting away, I remembered the LORD, And my prayer came to You, Into Your holy temple.7 When my soul fainted within me I remembered the LORD: and my prayer came in unto thee, into thine holy temple.7 "As my life was slipping away, I remembered the LORD. My prayer came to you in your holy temple.7 "When my soul fainted within me, I remembered Yahweh. My prayer came in to you, into your holy temple.7 When my soul fainted within me, I remembered Jehovah; And my prayer came in unto thee, Into thy holy temple.
 "Those who regard vain idols Forsake their faithfulness,8 They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy.8 Those who hold on to worthless idols abandon their loyalty [to you].8 Those who regard lying vanities forsake their own mercy.8 They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy.
 But I will sacrifice to You With the voice of thanksgiving. That which I have vowed I will pay. Salvation is from the LORD."9 But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that that I have vowed. Salvation is of the LORD.9 But I will sacrifice to you with songs of thanksgiving. I will keep my vow. Victory belongs to the LORD!"9 But I will sacrifice to you with the voice of thanksgiving. I will pay that which I have vowed. Salvation belongs to Yahweh."9 But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that which I have vowed. Salvation is of Jehovah.
 Then the LORD commanded the fish, and it vomited Jonah up onto the dry land.10 And the LORD spake unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land.10 Then the LORD spoke to the fish, and it spit Jonah out onto the shore.10 Yahweh spoke to the fish, and it vomited out Jonah on the dry land.10 And Jehovah commanded the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land.
