Ministering Women
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
 Soon afterwards, He began going around from one city and village to another, proclaiming and preaching the kingdom of God. The twelve were with Him,1 And it came to pass afterward, that he went throughout every city and village, preaching and shewing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God: and the twelve were with him,1 After this, Jesus traveled from one city and village to another. He spread the Good News about God's kingdom. The twelve apostles were with him.1 It happened soon afterwards, that he went about through cities and villages, preaching and bringing the good news of the Kingdom of God. With him were the twelve,1 And it came to pass afterwards that he went through the country city by city, and village by village, preaching and announcing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God; and the twelve were with him,
 and also some women who had been healed of evil spirits and sicknesses: Mary who was called Magdalene, from whom seven demons had gone out,2 And certain women, which had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities, Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven devils,2 Also, some women were with him. They had been cured from evil spirits and various illnesses. These women were Mary, also called Magdalene, from whom seven demons had gone out;2 and certain women who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities: Mary who was called Magdalene, from whom seven demons had gone out;2 and certain women who had been healed of wicked spirits and infirmities, Mary who was called Magdalene, from whom seven demons had gone out,
 and Joanna the wife of Chuza, Herod's steward, and Susanna, and many others who were contributing to their support out of their private means.3 And Joanna the wife of Chuza Herod's steward, and Susanna, and many others, which ministered unto him of their substance.3 Joanna, whose husband Chusa was Herod's administrator; Susanna; and many other women. They provided financial support for Jesus and his disciples.3 and Joanna, the wife of Chuzas, Herod's steward; Susanna; and many others; who served them from their possessions.3 and Joanna, wife of Chuza, Herod's steward, and Susanna, and many others, who ministered to him of their substance.
Parable of the Sower
 When a large crowd was coming together, and those from the various cities were journeying to Him, He spoke by way of a parable:4 And when much people were gathered together, and were come to him out of every city, he spake by a parable:4 When a large crowd had gathered and people had come to Jesus from every city, he used this story as an illustration:4 When a great multitude came together, and people from every city were coming to him, he spoke by a parable.4 And a great crowd coming together, and those who were coming to him out of each city, he spoke by parable:
 "The sower went out to sow his seed; and as he sowed, some fell beside the road, and it was trampled under foot and the birds of the air ate it up.5 A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the way side; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it.5 "A farmer went to plant his seeds. Some seeds were planted along the road, were trampled, and were devoured by birds.5 "The farmer went out to sow his seed. As he sowed, some fell along the road, and it was trampled under foot, and the birds of the sky devoured it.5 The sower went out to sow his seed; and as he sowed, some fell along the way, and it was trodden under foot, and the birds of the heaven devoured it up;

 "Other seed fell on rocky soil, and as soon as it grew up, it withered away, because it had no moisture.6 And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture.6 Others were planted on rocky soil. When the plants came up, they withered because they had no moisture.6 Other seed fell on the rock, and as soon as it grew, it withered away, because it had no moisture.6 and other fell upon the rock, and having sprung up, it was dried up because it had not moisture;
 "Other seed fell among the thorns; and the thorns grew up with it and choked it out.7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprang up with it, and choked it.7 Others were planted among thornbushes. The thornbushes grew up with them and choked them.7 Other fell amid the thorns, and the thorns grew with it, and choked it.7 and other fell in the midst of the thorns, and the thorns having sprung up with it choked it;
 "Other seed fell into the good soil, and grew up, and produced a crop a hundred times as great." As He said these things, He would call out, "He who has ears to hear, let him hear."8 And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And when he had said these things, he cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.8 Others were planted on good ground. When they came up, they produced a hundred times as much as was planted." After he had said this, he called out, "Let the person who has ears listen!"8 Other fell into the good ground, and grew, and brought forth fruit one hundred times." As he said these things, he called out, "He who has ears to hear, let him hear!"8 and other fell into the good ground, and having sprung up bore fruit a hundredfold. As he said these things he cried, He that has ears to hear, let him hear.
 His disciples began questioning Him as to what this parable meant.9 And his disciples asked him, saying, What might this parable be?9 His disciples asked him what this story meant.9 Then his disciples asked him, "What does this parable mean?"9 And his disciples asked him saying, What may this parable be?
 And He said, "To you it has been granted to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God, but to the rest it is in parables, so that SEEING THEY MAY NOT SEE, AND HEARING THEY MAY NOT UNDERSTAND.10 And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.10 Jesus answered, "Knowledge about the mysteries of the kingdom of God has been given [directly] to you. But it is given to others in stories. When they look, they don't see, and when they hear, they don't understand.10 He said, "To you it is given to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of God, but to the rest in parables; that 'seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.'10 And he said, To you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God, but to the rest in parables, in order that seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
 "Now the parable is this: the seed is the word of God.11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.11 "This is what the story illustrates: The seed is God's word.11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.11 But the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.
 "Those beside the road are those who have heard; then the devil comes and takes away the word from their heart, so that they will not believe and be saved.12 Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.12 Some people are like seeds that were planted along the road. They hear the word, but then the devil comes. He takes the word away from them so that they don't believe and become saved.12 Those along the road are those who hear, then the devil comes, and takes away the word from their heart, that they may not believe and be saved.12 But those by the wayside are those who hear; then comes the devil and takes away the word from their heart that they may not believe and be saved.
 "Those on the rocky soil are those who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no firm root; they believe for a while, and in time of temptation fall away.13 They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.13 Some people are like seeds on rocky soil. They welcome the word with joy whenever they hear it, but they don't develop any roots. They believe for a while, but when their faith is tested, they abandon it.13 Those on the rock are they who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; but these have no root, who believe for a while, then fall away in time of temptation.13 But those upon the rock, those who when they hear receive the word with joy; and these have no root, who believe for a time, and in time of trial fall away.
 "The seed which fell among the thorns, these are the ones who have heard, and as they go on their way they are choked with worries and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to maturity.14 And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.14 The seeds that were planted among thornbushes are people who hear the word, but as life goes on the worries, riches, and pleasures of life choke them. So they don't produce anything good.14 That which fell among the thorns, these are those who have heard, and as they go on their way they are choked with cares, riches, and pleasures of life, and bring no fruit to maturity.14 But that that fell where the thorns were, these are they who having heard go away and are choked under cares and riches and pleasures of life, and bring no fruit to perfection.
 "But the seed in the good soil, these are the ones who have heard the word in an honest and good heart, and hold it fast, and bear fruit with perseverance.15 But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.15 The seeds that were planted on good ground are people who also hear the word. But they keep it in their good and honest hearts and produce what is good despite what life may bring.15 That in the good ground, these are such as in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, hold it tightly, and bring forth fruit with patience.15 But that in the good ground, these are they who in an honest and good heart, having heard the word keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.
Parable of the Lamp
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
 "Now no one after lighting a lamp covers it over with a container, or puts it under a bed; but he puts it on a lampstand, so that those who come in may see the light.16 No man, when he hath lighted a candle, covereth it with a vessel, or putteth it under a bed; but setteth it on a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light.16 "No one lights a lamp and hides it under a bowl or puts it under a bed. Instead, everyone who lights a lamp puts it on a lamp stand so that those who come in will see the light.16 "No one, when he has lit a lamp, covers it with a container, or puts it under a bed; but puts it on a stand, that those who enter in may see the light.16 And no one having lighted a lamp covers it with a vessel or puts it under a couch, but sets it on a lamp-stand, that they who enter in may see the light.
 "For nothing is hidden that will not become evident, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light.17 For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad.17 There is nothing hidden that will not be revealed. There is nothing kept secret that will not come to light.17 For nothing is hidden, that will not be revealed; nor anything secret, that will not be known and come to light.17 For there is nothing hid which shall not become manifest, nor secret which shall not be known and come to light.
 "So take care how you listen; for whoever has, to him more shall be given; and whoever does not have, even what he thinks he has shall be taken away from him."18 Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have.18 "So pay attention to how you listen! Those who understand [these mysteries] will be given [more knowledge]. However, some people don't understand [these mysteries]. Even what they think they understand will be taken away from them."18 Be careful therefore how you hear. For whoever has, to him will be given; and whoever doesn't have, from him will be taken away even that which he thinks he has."18 Take heed therefore how ye hear; for whosoever has, to him shall be given, and whosoever has not, even what he seems to have shall be taken from him.
 And His mother and brothers came to Him, and they were unable to get to Him because of the crowd.19 Then came to him his mother and his brethren, and could not come at him for the press.19 His mother and his brothers came to see him. But they couldn't meet with him because of the crowd.19 His mother and brothers came to him, and they could not come near him for the crowd.19 And his mother and his brethren came to him, and could not get to him because of the crowd.
 And it was reported to Him, "Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside, wishing to see You."20 And it was told him by certain which said, Thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to see thee.20 Someone told Jesus, "Your mother and your brothers are standing outside. They want to see you."20 It was told him by some saying, "Your mother and your brothers stand outside, desiring to see you."20 And it was told him saying, Thy mother and thy brethren stand without, wishing to see thee.

 But He answered and said to them, "My mother and My brothers are these who hear the word of God and do it."21 And he answered and said unto them, My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it.21 He answered them, "My mother and my brothers are those who hear and do what God's word says."21 But he answered them, "My mother and my brothers are these who hear the word of God, and do it."21 But he answering said to them, My mother and my brethren are those who hear the word of God and do it.
Jesus Stills the Sea
 Now on one of those days Jesus and His disciples got into a boat, and He said to them, "Let us go over to the other side of the lake." So they launched out.22 Now it came to pass on a certain day, that he went into a ship with his disciples: and he said unto them, Let us go over unto the other side of the lake. And they launched forth.22 One day Jesus and his disciples got into a boat. He said to them, "Let's cross to the other side of the lake." So they started out.22 Now it happened on one of those days, that he entered into a boat, himself and his disciples, and he said to them, "Let's go over to the other side of the lake." So they launched out.22 And it came to pass on one of the days, that he entered into a ship, himself and his disciples; and he said to them, Let us pass over to the other side of the lake; and they set off from shore.
 But as they were sailing along He fell asleep; and a fierce gale of wind descended on the lake, and they began to be swamped and to be in danger.23 But as they sailed he fell asleep: and there came down a storm of wind on the lake; and they were filled with water, and were in jeopardy.23 As they were sailing along, Jesus fell asleep. A violent storm came across the lake. The boat was taking on water, and they were in danger.23 But as they sailed, he fell asleep. A wind storm came down on the lake, and they were taking on dangerous amounts of water.23 And as they sailed, he fell asleep; and a sudden squall of wind came down on the lake, and they were filled with water, and were in danger;
 They came to Jesus and woke Him up, saying, "Master, Master, we are perishing!" And He got up and rebuked the wind and the surging waves, and they stopped, and it became calm.24 And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish. Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm.24 They went to him, woke him up, and said, "Master! Master! We're going to die!" Then he got up and ordered the wind and the waves to stop. The wind stopped, and the sea became calm.24 They came to him, and awoke him, saying, "Master, master, we are dying!" He awoke, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water, and they ceased, and it was calm.24 and coming to him they woke him up, saying, Master, master, we perish. But he, rising up, rebuked the wind and the raging of the water; and they ceased, and there was a calm.
 And He said to them, "Where is your faith?" They were fearful and amazed, saying to one another, "Who then is this, that He commands even the winds and the water, and they obey Him?"25 And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him.25 He asked them, "Where is your faith?" Frightened and amazed, they asked each other, "Who is this man? He gives orders to the wind and the water, and they obey him!"25 He said to them, "Where is your faith?" Being afraid they marveled, saying one to another, "Who is this, then, that he commands even the winds and the water, and they obey him?"25 And he said to them, Where is your faith? And, being afraid, they were astonished, saying to one another, Who then is this, that he commands even the winds and the water, and they obey him?
The Demoniac Cured
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
 Then they sailed to the country of the Gerasenes, which is opposite Galilee.26 And they arrived at the country of the Gadarenes, which is over against Galilee.26 They landed in the region of the Gerasenes across from Galilee.26 They arrived at the country of the Gadarenes, which is opposite Galilee.26 And they arrived in the country of the Gadarenes, which is over against Galilee.
 And when He came out onto the land, He was met by a man from the city who was possessed with demons; and who had not put on any clothing for a long time, and was not living in a house, but in the tombs.27 And when he went forth to land, there met him out of the city a certain man, which had devils long time, and ware no clothes, neither abode in any house, but in the tombs.27 When Jesus stepped out on the shore, a certain man from the city met him. The man was possessed by demons and had not worn clothes for a long time. He would not stay in a house but lived in the tombs.27 When Jesus stepped ashore, a certain man out of the city who had demons for a long time met him. He wore no clothes, and didn't live in a house, but in the tombs.27 And as he got out of the ship on the land, a certain man out of the city met him, who had demons a long time, and put on no clothes, and did not abide in a house, but in the tombs.
 Seeing Jesus, he cried out and fell before Him, and said in a loud voice, "What business do we have with each other, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg You, do not torment me."28 When he saw Jesus, he cried out, and fell down before him, and with a loud voice said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God most high? I beseech thee, torment me not.28 When he saw Jesus, he shouted, fell in front of him, and said in a loud voice, "Why are you bothering me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg you not to torture me!"28 When he saw Jesus, he cried out, and fell down before him, and with a loud voice said, "What do I have to do with you, Jesus, you Son of the Most High God? I beg you, don't torment me!"28 But seeing Jesus, he cried out, and fell down before him, and with a loud voice said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus Son of the Most High God? I beseech thee torment me not.
 For He had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For it had seized him many times; and he was bound with chains and shackles and kept under guard, and yet he would break his bonds and be driven by the demon into the desert.29 (For he had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For oftentimes it had caught him: and he was kept bound with chains and in fetters; and he brake the bands, and was driven of the devil into the wilderness.)29 Jesus ordered the evil spirit to come out of the man. (The evil spirit had controlled the man for a long time. People had kept him under guard. He was chained hand and foot. But he would break the chains. Then the demon would force him to go into the desert.)29 For Jesus was commanding the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For the unclean spirit had often seized the man. He was kept under guard, and bound with chains and fetters. Breaking the bands apart, he was driven by the demon into the desert.29 For he had commanded the unclean spirit to go out from the man. For very often it had seized him; and he had been bound, kept with chains and fetters; and breaking the bonds he was driven by the demon into the deserts.
 And Jesus asked him, "What is your name?" And he said, "Legion"; for many demons had entered him.30 And Jesus asked him, saying, What is thy name? And he said, Legion: because many devils were entered into him.30 Jesus asked him, "What is your name?" He answered, "Legion [Six Thousand]." (Many demons had entered him.)30 Jesus asked him, "What is your name?" He said, "Legion," for many demons had entered into him.30 And Jesus asked him saying, What is thy name? And he said, Legion: for many demons had entered into him.

 They were imploring Him not to command them to go away into the abyss.31 And they besought him that he would not command them to go out into the deep.31 The demons begged Jesus not to order them to go into the bottomless pit.31 They begged him that he would not command them to go into the abyss.31 And they besought him that he would not command them to go away into the bottomless pit.
 Now there was a herd of many swine feeding there on the mountain; and the demons implored Him to permit them to enter the swine. And He gave them permission.32 And there was there an herd of many swine feeding on the mountain: and they besought him that he would suffer them to enter into them. And he suffered them.32 A large herd of pigs was feeding on a mountainside. The demons begged Jesus to let them enter those pigs. So he let them do this.32 Now there was there a herd of many pigs feeding on the mountain, and they begged him that he would allow them to enter into those. He allowed them.32 And there was there a herd of many swine feeding on the mountain, and they besought him that he would suffer them to enter into those; and he suffered them.
 And the demons came out of the man and entered the swine; and the herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake and was drowned.33 Then went the devils out of the man, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the lake, and were choked.33 The demons came out of the man and went into the pigs. Then the herd rushed down the cliff into the lake and drowned.33 The demons came out from the man, and entered into the pigs, and the herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake, and were drowned.33 And the demons, going out from the man, entered into the swine, and the herd rushed down the precipice into the lake, and were choked.
 When the herdsmen saw what had happened, they ran away and reported it in the city and out in the country.34 When they that fed them saw what was done, they fled, and went and told it in the city and in the country.34 When those who had taken care of the pigs saw what had happened, they ran away. They reported everything in the city and countryside.34 When those who fed them saw what had happened, they fled, and told it in the city and in the country.34 But they that fed them, seeing what had happened, fled, and told it to the city and to the country.
 The people went out to see what had happened; and they came to Jesus, and found the man from whom the demons had gone out, sitting down at the feet of Jesus, clothed and in his right mind; and they became frightened.35 Then they went out to see what was done; and came to Jesus, and found the man, out of whom the devils were departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid.35 The people went to see what had happened. They came to Jesus and found the man from whom the demons had gone out. Dressed and in his right mind, he was sitting at Jesus' feet. The people were frightened.35 People went out to see what had happened. They came to Jesus, and found the man from whom the demons had gone out, sitting at Jesus' feet, clothed and in his right mind; and they were afraid.35 And they went out to see what had happened, and came to Jesus, and found the man from whom the demons had gone out, sitting, clothed and sensible, at the feet of Jesus. And they were afraid.

 Those who had seen it reported to them how the man who was demon-possessed had been made well.36 They also which saw it told them by what means he that was possessed of the devils was healed.36 Those who had seen this told the people how Jesus had restored the demon-possessed man to health.36 Those who saw it told them how he who had been possessed by demons was healed.36 And they also who had seen it told them how the possessed man had been healed.
 And all the people of the country of the Gerasenes and the surrounding district asked Him to leave them, for they were gripped with great fear; and He got into a boat and returned.37 Then the whole multitude of the country of the Gadarenes round about besought him to depart from them; for they were taken with great fear: and he went up into the ship, and returned back again.37 Then all the people from the surrounding region of the Gerasenes asked Jesus to leave because they were terrified. Jesus got into a boat and started back.37 All the people of the surrounding country of the Gadarenes asked him to depart from them, for they were very much afraid. He entered into the boat, and returned.37 And all the multitude of the surrounding country of the Gadarenes asked him to depart from them, for they were possessed with great fear; and he, entering into the ship, returned.
 But the man from whom the demons had gone out was begging Him that he might accompany Him; but He sent him away, saying,38 Now the man out of whom the devils were departed besought him that he might be with him: but Jesus sent him away, saying,38 The man from whom the demons had gone out begged him, "Let me go with you." But Jesus sent the man away and told him,38 But the man from whom the demons had gone out begged him that he might go with him, but Jesus sent him away, saying,38 But the man out of whom the demons had gone besought him that he might be with him. But he sent him away, saying,
 "Return to your house and describe what great things God has done for you." So he went away, proclaiming throughout the whole city what great things Jesus had done for him.39 Return to thine own house, and shew how great things God hath done unto thee. And he went his way, and published throughout the whole city how great things Jesus had done unto him.39 "Go home to your family, and tell them how much God has done for you." So the man left. He went through the whole city and told people how much Jesus had done for him.39 "Return to your house, and declare what great things God has done for you." He went his way, proclaiming throughout the whole city what great things Jesus had done for him.39 Return to thine house and relate how great things God has done for thee. And he went away through the whole city, publishing how great things Jesus had done for him.

 And as Jesus returned, the people welcomed Him, for they had all been waiting for Him.40 And it came to pass, that, when Jesus was returned, the people gladly received him: for they were all waiting for him.40 When Jesus came back, a crowd welcomed him. 42 for he had an only daughter, about twelve years old, and she was dying. But as He went, the crowds were pressing against Him.42 For he had one only daughter, about twelve years of age, and she lay a dying. But as he went the people thronged him.42 His only daughter, who was about twelve years old, was dying. As Jesus went, the people were crowding around him.42 for he had an only daughter, about twelve years of age, and she was dying. But as he went, the multitudes pressed against him.42 because he had an only daughter, about twelve years old, and she was dying. And as he went the crowds thronged him.
 And a woman who had a hemorrhage for twelve years, and could not be healed by anyone,43 And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any,43 A woman who had been suffering from chronic bleeding for twelve years was in the crowd. No one could cure her.43 A woman who had a flow of blood for twelve years, who had spent all her living on physicians, and could not be healed by any,43 And a woman who had a flux of blood since twelve years, who, having spent all her living on physicians, could not be cured by any one,
 came up behind Him and touched the fringe of His cloak, and immediately her hemorrhage stopped.44 Came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched.44 She came up behind Jesus, touched the edge of his clothes, and her bleeding stopped at once.44 came behind him, and touched the fringe of his cloak, and immediately the flow of her blood stopped.44 coming up behind, touched the hem of his garment, and immediately her flux of blood stopped.
 And Jesus said, "Who is the one who touched Me?" And while they were all denying it, Peter said, "Master, the people are crowding and pressing in on You."45 And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?45 Jesus asked, "Who touched me?" After everyone denied touching him, Peter said, "Teacher, the people are crowding you and pressing against you."45 Jesus said, "Who touched me?" When all denied it, Peter and those with him said, "Master, the multitudes press and jostle you, and you say, 'Who touched me?'"45 And Jesus said, Who has touched me? But all denying, Peter and those with him said, Master, the crowds close thee in and press upon thee, and sayest thou, Who has touched me?

 But Jesus said, "Someone did touch Me, for I was aware that power had gone out of Me."46 And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me.46 Jesus said, "Someone touched me. I know power has gone out of me."46 But Jesus said, "Someone did touch me, for I perceived that power has gone out of me."46 And Jesus said, Some one has touched me, for I have known that power has gone out from me.
 When the woman saw that she had not escaped notice, she came trembling and fell down before Him, and declared in the presence of all the people the reason why she had touched Him, and how she had been immediately healed.47 And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately.47 The woman saw that she couldn't hide. Trembling, she quickly bowed in front of him. There, in front of all the people, she told why she touched him and how she was cured at once.47 When the woman saw that she was not hidden, she came trembling, and falling down before him declared to him in the presence of all the people the reason why she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately.47 And the woman, seeing that she was not hid, came trembling, and falling down before him declared before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was immediately healed.
 And He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace."48 And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace.48 Jesus told her, "Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace!"48 He said to her, "Daughter, cheer up. Your faith has made you well. Go in peace."48 And he said to her, Be of good courage, daughter; thy faith has healed thee; go in peace.
 While He was still speaking, someone came from the house of the synagogue official, saying, "Your daughter has died; do not trouble the Teacher anymore."49 While he yet spake, there cometh one from the ruler of the synagogue's house, saying to him, Thy daughter is dead; trouble not the Master.49 While Jesus was still speaking to her, someone came from the synagogue leader's home. He said, "Your daughter is dead. Don't bother the teacher anymore."49 While he still spoke, one from the ruler of the synagogue's house came, saying to him, "Your daughter is dead. Don't trouble the Teacher."49 While he was yet speaking, comes some one from the ruler of the synagogue, saying to him, Thy daughter is dead; do not trouble the teacher.
 But when Jesus heard this, He answered him, "Do not be afraid any longer; only believe, and she will be made well."50 But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.50 When Jesus heard this, he told the synagogue leader, "Don't be afraid! Just believe, and she will get well."50 But Jesus hearing it, answered him, "Don't be afraid. Only believe, and she will be healed."50 But Jesus, hearing it, answered him saying, Fear not: only believe, and she shall be made well.

 When He came to the house, He did not allow anyone to enter with Him, except Peter and John and James, and the girl's father and mother.51 And when he came into the house, he suffered no man to go in, save Peter, and James, and John, and the father and the mother of the maiden.51 Jesus went into the house. He allowed no one to go with him except Peter, John, James, and the child's parents.51 When he came to the house, he didn't allow anyone to enter in, except Peter, John, James, the father of the child, and her mother.51 And when he came to the house he suffered no one to go in but Peter and John and James and the father of the child and the mother.
 Now they were all weeping and lamenting for her; but He said, "Stop weeping, for she has not died, but is asleep."52 And all wept, and bewailed her: but he said, Weep not; she is not dead, but sleepeth.52 Everyone was crying and showing how sad they were. Jesus said, "Don't cry! She's not dead. She's just sleeping."52 All were weeping and mourning her, but he said, "Don't weep. She isn't dead, but sleeping."52 And all were weeping and lamenting her. But he said, Do not weep, for she has not died, but sleeps.
 And they began laughing at Him, knowing that she had died.53 And they laughed him to scorn, knowing that she was dead.53 They laughed at him because they knew she was dead.53 They were ridiculing him, knowing that she was dead.53 And they derided him, knowing that she had died.
 He, however, took her by the hand and called, saying, "Child, arise!"54 And he put them all out, and took her by the hand, and called, saying, Maid, arise.54 But Jesus took her hand and called out, "Child, get up!"54 But he put them all outside, and taking her by the hand, he called, saying, "Child, arise!"54 But he, having turned them all out and taking hold of her hand, cried saying, Child, arise.
 And her spirit returned, and she got up immediately; and He gave orders for something to be given her to eat.55 And her spirit came again, and she arose straightway: and he commanded to give her meat.55 She came back to life and got up at once. He ordered her parents to give her something to eat.55 Her spirit returned, and she rose up immediately. He commanded that something be given to her to eat.55 And her spirit returned, and immediately she rose up; and he commanded something to eat to be given to her.

 Her parents were amazed; but He instructed them to tell no one what had happened.56 And her parents were astonished: but he charged them that they should tell no man what was done.56 They were amazed.
