The Triumphal Entry
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
As they approached Jerusalem, at Bethphage and Bethany, near the Mount of Olives, He sent two of His disciples,1 And when they came nigh to Jerusalem, unto Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount of Olives, he sendeth forth two of his disciples,1 When they came near Jerusalem, to Bethphage and Bethany, at the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two of his disciples ahead of him.1 When they drew near to Jerusalem, to Bethsphage and Bethany, at the Mount of Olives, he sent two of his disciples,1 And when they draw near to Jerusalem, to Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount of Olives, he sends two of his disciples,
and said to them, "Go into the village opposite you, and immediately as you enter it, you will find a colt tied there, on which no one yet has ever sat; untie it and bring it here.2 And saith unto them, Go your way into the village over against you: and as soon as ye be entered into it, ye shall find a colt tied, whereon never man sat; loose him, and bring him.2 He said to them, "Go into the village ahead of you. As you enter it, you will find a young donkey tied there. No one has ever sat on it. Untie it, and bring it.2 and said to them, "Go your way into the village that is opposite you. Immediately as you enter into it, you will find a young donkey tied, on which no one has sat. Untie him, and bring him.2 and says to them, Go into the village which is over against you, and immediately on entering into it ye will find a colt tied, upon which no child of man has ever sat: loose it and lead it here.
"If anyone says to you, 'Why are you doing this?' you say, 'The Lord has need of it'; and immediately he will send it back here."3 And if any man say unto you, Why do ye this? say ye that the Lord hath need of him; and straightway he will send him hither.3 If anyone asks you what you are doing, say that the Lord needs it. That person will send it here at once."3 If anyone asks you, 'Why are you doing this?' say, 'The Lord needs him;' and immediately he will send him back here."3 And if any one say to you, Why do ye this? say, The Lord has need of it; and straightway he sends it hither.
They went away and found a colt tied at the door, outside in the street; and they untied it.4 And they went their way, and found the colt tied by the door without in a place where two ways met; and they loose him.4 The disciples found the young donkey in the street. It was tied to the door of a house. As they were untying it,4 They went away, and found a young donkey tied at the door outside in the open street, and they untied him.4 And they departed, and found a colt bound to the door without at the crossway, and they loose him.
Some of the bystanders were saying to them, "What are you doing, untying the colt?"5 And certain of them that stood there said unto them, What do ye, loosing the colt?5 some men standing there asked them, "Why are you untying that donkey?"5 Some of those who stood there asked them, "What are you doing, untying the young donkey?"5 And some of those who stood there said to them, What are ye doing, loosing the colt?

They spoke to them just as Jesus had told them, and they gave them permission.6 And they said unto them even as Jesus had commanded: and they let them go.6 The disciples answered them as Jesus had told them. So the men let them go.6 They said to them just as Jesus had said, and they let them go.6 And they said to them as Jesus had commanded. And they let them do it.
 They brought the colt to Jesus and put their coats on it; and He sat on it.7 And they brought the colt to Jesus, and cast their garments on him; and he sat upon him.7 They brought the donkey to Jesus, put their coats on it, and he sat on it.7 They brought the young donkey to Jesus, and threw their garments on it, and Jesus sat on it.7 And they led the colt to Jesus, and cast their clothes upon it, and he sat on it;
And many spread their coats in the road, and others spread leafy branches which they had cut from the fields.8 And many spread their garments in the way: and others cut down branches off the trees, and strawed them in the way.8 Many spread their coats on the road. Others cut leafy branches in the fields and spread them on the road.8 Many spread their garments on the way, and others were cutting down branches from the trees, and spreading them on the road.8 and many strewed their clothes on the way, and others cut down branches from the trees and went on strewing them on the way.
Those who went in front and those who followed were shouting: "Hosanna! BLESSED IS HE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD;9 And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna; Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord:9 Those who went ahead and those who followed him were shouting, "Hosanna! Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord!9 Those who went in front, and those who followed, cried out, "Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!9 And those going on before and those following cried out, Hosanna! blessed be he that comes in the Lord's name.
Blessed is the coming kingdom of our father David; Hosanna in the highest!"10 Blessed be the kingdom of our father David, that cometh in the name of the Lord: Hosanna in the highest.10 Blessed is our ancestor David's kingdom that is coming! Hosanna in the highest heaven!"10 Blessed is the kingdom of our father David that is coming in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!"10 Blessed be the coming kingdom of our father David. Hosanna in the highest!
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
Jesus entered Jerusalem and came into the temple; and after looking around at everything, He left for Bethany with the twelve, since it was already late.11 And Jesus entered into Jerusalem, and into the temple: and when he had looked round about upon all things, and now the eventide was come, he went out unto Bethany with the twelve.11 Jesus came into Jerusalem and went into the temple courtyard, where he looked around at everything. Since it was already late, he went out with the twelve apostles to Bethany.11 Jesus entered into the temple in Jerusalem. When he had looked around at everything, it being now evening, he went out to Bethany with the twelve.11 And he entered into Jerusalem and into the temple; and having looked round on all things, the hour being already late, he went out to Bethany with the twelve.
On the next day, when they had left Bethany, He became hungry.12 And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry:12 The next day, when they left Bethany, Jesus became hungry.12 The next day, when they had come out from Bethany, he was hungry.12 And on the morrow, when they were gone out of Bethany, he hungered.
Seeing at a distance a fig tree in leaf, He went to see if perhaps He would find anything on it; and when He came to it, He found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs.13 And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet.13 In the distance he saw a fig tree with leaves. He went to see if he could find any figs on it. When he came to it, he found nothing but leaves because it wasn't the season for figs.13 Seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came to see if perhaps he might find anything on it. When he came to it, he found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs.13 And seeing from afar off a fig-tree which had leaves, he came, if perhaps he might find something on it. And having come up to it he found nothing but leaves, for it was not the time of figs.
He said to it, "May no one ever eat fruit from you again!" And His disciples were listening.14 And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it.14 Then he said to the tree, "No one will ever eat fruit from you again!" His disciples heard this.14 Jesus told it, "May no one ever eat fruit from you again!" and his disciples heard it.14 And answering he said to it, Let no one eat fruit of thee any more for ever. And his disciples heard it.
Jesus Drives Money Changers from the Temple
Then they came to Jerusalem. And He entered the temple and began to drive out those who were buying and selling in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who were selling doves;15 And they come to Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves;15 When they came to Jerusalem, Jesus went into the temple courtyard and began to throw out those who were buying and selling there. He overturned the moneychangers' tables and the chairs of those who sold pigeons.15 They came to Jerusalem, and Jesus entered into the temple, and began to throw out those who sold and those who bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the money changers, and the seats of those who sold the doves.15 And they come to Jerusalem, and entering into the temple, he began to cast out those who sold and who bought in the temple, and he overthrew the tables of the moneychangers and the seats of the dove-sellers,

and He would not permit anyone to carry merchandise through the temple.16 And would not suffer that any man should carry any vessel through the temple.16 He would not let anyone carry anything across the temple courtyard.16 He would not allow anyone to carry a container through the temple.16 and suffered not that any one should carry any package through the temple.
And He began to teach and say to them, "Is it not written, 'MY HOUSE SHALL BE CALLED A HOUSE OF PRAYER FOR ALL THE NATIONS '? But you have made it a ROBBERS' DEN."17 And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves.17 Then he taught them by saying, "Scripture says, 'My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations,' but you have turned it into a gathering place for thieves."17 He taught, saying to them, "Isn't it written, 'My house will be called a house of prayer for all the nations?' But you have made it a den of robbers!"17 And he taught saying to them, Is it not written, My house shall be called a house of prayer for all the nations? but ye have made it a den of robbers.
The chief priests and the scribes heard this, and began seeking how to destroy Him; for they were afraid of Him, for the whole crowd was astonished at His teaching.18 And the scribes and chief priests heard it, and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, because all the people was astonished at his doctrine.18 When the chief priests and scribes heard him, they looked for a way to kill him. They were afraid of him because he amazed all the crowds with his teaching.18 The chief priests and the scribes heard it, and sought how they might destroy him. For they feared him, because all the multitude was astonished at his teaching.18 And the chief priests and the scribes heard it, and they sought how they might destroy him; for they feared him, because all the crowd were astonished at his doctrine.
When evening came, they would go out of the city.19 And when even was come, he went out of the city.19 (Every evening Jesus and his disciples would leave the city.)19 When evening came, he went out of the city.19 And when it was evening he went forth without the city.
As they were passing by in the morning, they saw the fig tree withered from the roots up.20 And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.20 While Jesus and his disciples were walking early in the morning, they saw that the fig tree had dried up.20 As they passed by in the morning, they saw the fig tree withered away from the roots.20 And passing by early in the morning they saw the fig-tree dried up from the roots.
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
Being reminded, Peter said to Him, "Rabbi, look, the fig tree which You cursed has withered."21 And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away.21 Peter remembered [what Jesus had said], so he said to Jesus, "Rabbi, look! The fig tree you cursed has dried up."21 Peter, remembering, said to him, "Rabbi, look! The fig tree which you cursed has withered away."21 And Peter, remembering what Jesus had said, says to him, Rabbi, see, the fig-tree which thou cursedst is dried up.
And Jesus answered saying to them, "Have faith in God.22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.22 Jesus said to them, "Have faith in God!22 Jesus answered them, "Have faith in God.22 And Jesus answering says to them, Have faith in God.
"Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted him.23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.23 I can guarantee this truth: This is what will be done for someone who doesn't doubt but believes what he says will happen: He can say to this mountain, 'Be uprooted and thrown into the sea,' and it will be done for him.23 For most certainly I tell you, whoever may tell this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' and doesn't doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is happening; he shall have whatever he says.23 Verily I say to you, that whosoever shall say to this mountain, Be thou taken away and cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart, but believe that what he says takes place, whatever he shall say shall come to pass for him.
"Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you.24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.24 That's why I tell you to have faith that you have already received whatever you pray for, and it will be yours.24 Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them.24 For this reason I say to you, All things whatsoever ye pray for and ask, believe that ye receive it, and it shall come to pass for you.
"Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father who is in heaven will also forgive you your transgressions.25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.25 Whenever you pray, forgive anything you have against anyone. Then your Father in heaven will forgive your failures." 25 Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone; so that your Father, who is in heaven, may also forgive you your transgressions.25 And when ye stand praying, forgive if ye have anything against any one, that your Father also who is in the heavens may forgive you your offences.
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
"But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father who is in heaven forgive your transgressions."26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.26 26 But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your transgressions."26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father who is in the heavens forgive your offences.
Jesus’ Authority Questioned
They came again to Jerusalem. And as He was walking in the temple, the chief priests and the scribes and the elders came to Him,27 And they come again to Jerusalem: and as he was walking in the temple, there come to him the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders,27 Jesus and his disciples returned to Jerusalem. As he was walking in the temple courtyard, the chief priests, the scribes, and the leaders came to him.27 They came again to Jerusalem, and as he was walking in the temple, the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders came to him,27 And they come again to Jerusalem. And as he walked about in the temple, the chief priests and the scribes and the elders come to him,
and began saying to Him, "By what authority are You doing these things, or who gave You this authority to do these things?"28 And say unto him, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority to do these things?28 They asked him, "What gives you the right to do these things? Who told you that you could do this?"28 and they began saying to him, "By what authority do you do these things? Or who gave you this authority to do these things?"28 and they say to him, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority, that thou shouldest do these things?
And Jesus said to them, "I will ask you one question, and you answer Me, and then I will tell you by what authority I do these things.29 And Jesus answered and said unto them, I will also ask of you one question, and answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things.29 Jesus said to them, "I'll ask you a question. Answer me, and then I'll tell you why I have the right to do these things.29 Jesus said to them, "I will ask you one question. Answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things.29 And Jesus answering said to them, I also will ask you one thing, and answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things:
"Was the baptism of John from heaven, or from men? Answer Me."30 The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or of men? answer me.30 Did John's right to baptize come from heaven or from humans? Answer me!"30 The baptism of John--was it from heaven, or from men? Answer me."30 The baptism of John, was it of heaven, or of men? answer me.
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
They began reasoning among themselves, saying, "If we say, 'From heaven,' He will say, 'Then why did you not believe him?'31 And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then did ye not believe him?31 They discussed this among themselves. They said, "If we say, 'from heaven,' he will ask, 'Then why didn't you believe him?'31 They reasoned with themselves, saying, "If we should say, 'From heaven;' he will say, 'Why then did you not believe him?'31 And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we should say, Of heaven, he will say, Why then have ye not believed him?
"But shall we say, 'From men '?"-- they were afraid of the people, for everyone considered John to have been a real prophet.32 But if we shall say, Of men; they feared the people: for all men counted John, that he was a prophet indeed.32 But if we say, 'from humans,' [then what will happen]?" They were afraid of the people. All the people thought of John as a true prophet.32 If we should say, 'From men'"--they feared the people, for all held John to really be a prophet.32 but should we say, Of men they feared the people; for all held of John that he was truly a prophet.
Answering Jesus, they said, "We do not know." And Jesus said to them, "Nor will I tell you by what authority I do these things."33 And they answered and said unto Jesus, We cannot tell. And Jesus answering saith unto them, Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.33 So they answered Jesus, "We don't know." Jesus told them, "Then I won't tell you why I have the right to do these things."33 They answered Jesus, "We don't know." Jesus said to them, "Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things."33 And they answering say to Jesus, We do not know. And Jesus answering says to them, Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.
