Judgment on Judah and Israel
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
 Thus says the LORD, "For three transgressions of Moab and for four I will not revoke its punishment, Because he burned the bones of the king of Edom to lime.1 Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Moab, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he burned the bones of the king of Edom into lime:1 This is what the LORD says: Because Moab has committed three crimes, and now a fourth crime, I will not change my plans. The Moabites have cremated Edom's king.1 Thus says Yahweh: "For three transgressions of Moab, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment; because he burned the bones of the king of Edom into lime;1 Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of Moab, and for four, I will not revoke its sentence; because he burned the bones of the king of Edom into lime.
 "So I will send fire upon Moab And it will consume the citadels of Kerioth; And Moab will die amid tumult, With war cries and the sound of a trumpet.2 But I will send a fire upon Moab, and it shall devour the palaces of Kirioth: and Moab shall die with tumult, with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet:2 I will send a fire on Moab and burn down the palaces of Kerioth. Moab will die during the noise of battle while troops are shouting and rams' horns are blowing.2 but I will send a fire on Moab, and it will devour the palaces of Kerioth; and Moab will die with tumult, with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet;2 And I will send a fire upon Moab, and it shall devour the palaces of Kerijoth; and Moab shall die with tumult, with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet.
 "I will also cut off the judge from her midst And slay all her princes with him," says the LORD.3 And I will cut off the judge from the midst thereof, and will slay all the princes thereof with him, saith the LORD.3 I will take their judges away from them. I will kill all their officials at the same time. The LORD has said this.3 and I will cut off the judge from their midst, and will kill all its princes with him," says Yahweh.3 And I will cut off the judge from the midst thereof, and will slay all the princes thereof with him, saith Jehovah.
 Thus says the LORD, "For three transgressions of Judah and for four I will not revoke its punishment, Because they rejected the law of the LORD And have not kept His statutes; Their lies also have led them astray, Those after which their fathers walked.4 Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Judah, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have despised the law of the LORD, and have not kept his commandments, and their lies caused them to err, after the which their fathers have walked:4 This is what the LORD says: Because Judah has committed three crimes, and now a fourth crime, I will not change my plans. The people of Judah have rejected the LORD's Teachings and haven't kept his laws. They have been led astray by false teachings, the same ones their ancestors followed.4 Thus says Yahweh: "For three transgressions of Judah, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment; because they have rejected Yahweh's law, and have not kept his statutes, and their lies have led them astray, after which their fathers walked;4 Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of Judah, and for four, I will not revoke its sentence; because they have despised the law of Jehovah, and have not kept his statutes; and their lies have caused them to err, after which their fathers walked.
 "So I will send fire upon Judah And it will consume the citadels of Jerusalem."5 But I will send a fire upon Judah, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem.5 I will send a fire on Judah and burn down the palaces of Jerusalem.5 But I will send a fire on Judah, and it will devour the palaces of Jerusalem."5 And I will send a fire upon Judah, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem.

 Thus says the LORD, "For three transgressions of Israel and for four I will not revoke its punishment, Because they sell the righteous for money And the needy for a pair of sandals.6 Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Israel, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they sold the righteous for silver, and the poor for a pair of shoes;6 This is what the LORD says: Because Israel has committed three crimes, and now a fourth crime, I will not change my plans. The people of Israel sell the righteous for money and the needy for a pair of sandals.6 Thus says Yahweh: "For three transgressions of Israel, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment; because they have sold the righteous for silver, and the needy for a pair of shoes;6 Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of Israel, and for four, I will not revoke its sentence; because they have sold the righteous for silver, and the needy for a pair of shoes;
 "These who pant after the very dust of the earth on the head of the helpless Also turn aside the way of the humble; And a man and his father resort to the same girl In order to profane My holy name.7 That pant after the dust of the earth on the head of the poor, and turn aside the way of the meek: and a man and his father will go in unto the same maid, to profane my holy name:7 They stomp the heads of the poor into the dust. They push the humble out of the way. Father and son sleep with the same woman. They dishonor my holy name.7 They trample on the dust of the earth on the head of the poor, and deny justice to the oppressed; and a man and his father use the same maiden, to profane my holy name;7 panting after the dust of the earth on the head of the poor, and turning aside the way of the meek; and a man and his father will go in unto the same maid, to profane my holy name.
 "On garments taken as pledges they stretch out beside every altar, And in the house of their God they drink the wine of those who have been fined.8 And they lay themselves down upon clothes laid to pledge by every altar, and they drink the wine of the condemned in the house of their god.8 Beside every altar, they spread themselves out on clothes taken as security. In the temples of their gods, they drink the wine that they bought with fines.8 and they lay themselves down beside every altar on clothes taken in pledge; and in the house of their God they drink the wine of those who have been fined.8 And they lay themselves down by every altar upon clothes taken in pledge, and they drink in the house of their God the wine of the condemned.
 "Yet it was I who destroyed the Amorite before them, Though his height was like the height of cedars And he was strong as the oaks; I even destroyed his fruit above and his root below.9 Yet destroyed I the Amorite before them, whose height was like the height of the cedars, and he was strong as the oaks; yet I destroyed his fruit from above, and his roots from beneath.9 I destroyed the Amorites in front of them, although the Amorites were as tall as cedars and as strong as oaks. I destroyed their fruit above the ground and their roots below it.9 Yet I destroyed the Amorite before them, whose height was like the height of the cedars, and he was strong as the oaks; yet I destroyed his fruit from above, and his roots from beneath.9 But I destroyed the Amorite before them, whose height was as the height of the cedars, and he was strong as the oaks; but I destroyed his fruit from above, and his roots from beneath.
 "It was I who brought you up from the land of Egypt, And I led you in the wilderness forty years That you might take possession of the land of the Amorite.10 Also I brought you up from the land of Egypt, and led you forty years through the wilderness, to possess the land of the Amorite.10 I brought you out of Egypt. I led you through the desert for 40 years so that you could take possession of the land of the Amorites.10 Also I brought you up out of the land of Egypt, and led you forty years in the wilderness, to possess the land of the Amorite.10 And I brought you up from the land of Egypt, and led you forty years in the wilderness, to possess the land of the Amorite.

 "Then I raised up some of your sons to be prophets And some of your young men to be Nazirites. Is this not so, O sons of Israel?" declares the LORD.11 And I raised up of your sons for prophets, and of your young men for Nazarites. Is it not even thus, O ye children of Israel? saith the LORD.11 I also sent you prophets from among your children and Nazirites from among your youths. Isn't that so, people of Israel? The LORD has declared this.11 I raised up some of your sons for prophets, and some of your young men for Nazirites. Isn't this true, you children of Israel?" says Yahweh.11 And I raised up of your sons for prophets, and of your young men for Nazarites. Is it not even thus, ye children of Israel? saith Jehovah.
 "But you made the Nazirites drink wine, And you commanded the prophets saying, 'You shall not prophesy!'12 But ye gave the Nazarites wine to drink; and commanded the prophets, saying, Prophesy not.12 You made the Nazirites drink wine. You commanded the prophets to stop prophesying.12 "But you gave the Nazirites wine to drink, and commanded the prophets, saying, 'Don't prophesy!'12 And ye gave the Nazarites wine to drink; and commanded the prophets, saying, Prophesy not.
 "Behold, I am weighted down beneath you As a wagon is weighted down when filled with sheaves.13 Behold, I am pressed under you, as a cart is pressed that is full of sheaves.13 I am going to crush you as an overloaded wagon crushes a person.13 Behold, I will crush you in your place, as a cart crushes that is full of grain.13 Behold, I will press upon you, as a cart presseth that is full of sheaves.
 "Flight will perish from the swift, And the stalwart will not strengthen his power, Nor the mighty man save his life.14 Therefore the flight shall perish from the swift, and the strong shall not strengthen his force, neither shall the mighty deliver himself:14 Runners will not be able to escape. Strong men will find that their strength is useless. Soldiers will not be able to save themselves.14 Flight will perish from the swift; and the strong won't strengthen his force; neither shall the mighty deliver himself;14 And flight shall perish from the swift, and the strong shall not strengthen his force, neither shall the mighty deliver his soul.
 "He who grasps the bow will not stand his ground, The swift of foot will not escape, Nor will he who rides the horse save his life.15 Neither shall he stand that handleth the bow; and he that is swift of foot shall not deliver himself: neither shall he that rideth the horse deliver himself.15 Archers will not stand their ground. Fast runners will not be able to escape. Horsemen will not be able to save themselves.15 neither shall he stand who handles the bow; and he who is swift of foot won't escape; neither shall he who rides the horse deliver himself;15 Neither shall he stand that handleth the bow; and the swift of foot shall not escape, and he that rideth the horse shall not deliver his soul;

 "Even the bravest among the warriors will flee naked in that day," declares the LORD.16 And he that is courageous among the mighty shall flee away naked in that day, saith the LORD.16 Brave soldiers will run away naked that day. The LORD has declared this.16 and he who is courageous among the mighty will flee away naked on that day," says Yahweh.16 and he that is stout-hearted among the mighty shall flee away naked in that day, saith Jehovah.
