Judgment on the Earth
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
 Behold, the LORD lays the earth waste, devastates it, distorts its surface and scatters its inhabitants.1 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof.1 The LORD is going to turn the earth into a desolate wasteland. He will mar the face of the earth and scatter the people living on it.1 Behold, Yahweh makes the earth empty, makes it waste, turns it upside down, and scatters its inhabitants.1 Behold, Jehovah maketh the land empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad its inhabitants.
 And the people will be like the priest, the servant like his master, the maid like her mistress, the buyer like the seller, the lender like the borrower, the creditor like the debtor.2 And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him.2 The same will happen to people and priests, male slaves and masters, female slaves and masters, buyers and sellers, lenders and borrowers, debtors and creditors.2 It will be as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the creditor, so with the debtor; as with the taker of interest, so with the giver of interest.2 And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the taker of usury, so with him from whom usury is taken.
 The earth will be completely laid waste and completely despoiled, for the LORD has spoken this word.3 The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken this word.3 The earth will be completely laid waste and stripped because the LORD has spoken.3 The earth will be utterly emptied and utterly laid waste; for Yahweh has spoken this word.3 The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled; for Jehovah hath spoken this word.
 The earth mourns and withers, the world fades and withers, the exalted of the people of the earth fade away.4 The earth mourneth and fadeth away, the world languisheth and fadeth away, the haughty people of the earth do languish.4 The earth dries up and withers. The world wastes away and withers. The great leaders of the earth waste away.4 The earth mourns and fades away. The world languishes and fades away. The lofty people of the earth languish.4 The land mourneth, it fadeth away; the world languisheth, it fadeth away: the haughty people of the land do languish.
 The earth is also polluted by its inhabitants, for they transgressed laws, violated statutes, broke the everlasting covenant.5 The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant.5 The earth is polluted by those who live on it because they've disobeyed the LORD's teachings, violated his laws, and rejected the everlasting promise. 5 The earth also is polluted under its inhabitants, because they have transgressed the laws, violated the statutes, and broken the everlasting covenant.5 And the land is polluted under the inhabitants thereof; for they have violated the laws, changed the statute, broken the everlasting covenant.

 Therefore, a curse devours the earth, and those who live in it are held guilty. Therefore, the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men are left.6 Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.6 That is why a curse devours the earth, and its people are punished for their guilt. That is why those who live on the earth are burned up, and only a few people are left.6 Therefore the curse has devoured the earth, and those who dwell therein are found guilty. Therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.6 Therefore doth the curse devour the earth, and they that dwell therein are held guilty; therefore the inhabitants of the earth are consumed, and few men are left.
 The new wine mourns, The vine decays, All the merry-hearted sigh.7 The new wine mourneth, the vine languisheth, all the merryhearted do sigh.7 New wine dries up, and grapevines waste away. All happy people groan.7 The new wine mourns. The vine languishes. All the merry-hearted sigh.7 The new wine mourneth, the vine languisheth, all that were merry-hearted do sigh;
 The gaiety of tambourines ceases, The noise of revelers stops, The gaiety of the harp ceases.8 The mirth of tabrets ceaseth, the noise of them that rejoice endeth, the joy of the harp ceaseth.8 Joyful tambourine music stops. Noisy celebrations cease. Joyful harp music stops.8 The mirth of tambourines ceases. The sound of those who rejoice ends. The joy of the harp ceases.8 the mirth of tambours ceaseth, the noise of them that rejoice endeth, the joy of the harp ceaseth.
 They do not drink wine with song; Strong drink is bitter to those who drink it.9 They shall not drink wine with a song; strong drink shall be bitter to them that drink it.9 People no longer drink wine when they sing. Liquor tastes bad to its drinkers.9 They will not drink wine with a song. Strong drink will be bitter to those who drink it.9 They do not drink wine with a song; strong drink is bitter to them that drink it.
 The city of chaos is broken down; Every house is shut up so that none may enter.10 The city of confusion is broken down: every house is shut up, that no man may come in.10 The ruined city lies desolate. The entrance to every house is barred shut.10 The confused city is broken down. Every house is shut up, that no man may come in.10 The city of solitude is broken down; every house is shut up, so that none entereth in.

 There is an outcry in the streets concerning the wine; All joy turns to gloom. The gaiety of the earth is banished.11 There is a crying for wine in the streets; all joy is darkened, the mirth of the land is gone.11 People in the streets call for wine. All joy passes away, and the earth's happiness is banished.11 There is a crying in the streets because of the wine. All joy is darkened. The mirth of the land is gone.11 There is a crying for wine in the streets; all joy is darkened, the mirth of the land is gone;
 Desolation is left in the city And the gate is battered to ruins.12 In the city is left desolation, and the gate is smitten with destruction.12 The city is left in ruins. Its gate is battered to pieces.12 The city is left in desolation, and the gate is struck with destruction.12 desolation remaineth in the city, and the gate is smitten, a ruin.
 For thus it will be in the midst of the earth among the peoples, As the shaking of an olive tree, As the gleanings when the grape harvest is over.13 When thus it shall be in the midst of the land among the people, there shall be as the shaking of an olive tree, and as the gleaning grapes when the vintage is done.13 That is the way it will be on earth among the nations. They will be like an olive tree which has been shaken or like what's left after the grape harvest.13 For it will be so in the midst of the earth among the peoples, as the shaking of an olive tree, as the gleanings when the vintage is done.13 For so will it be in the midst of the land among the peoples, as the shaking of an olive-tree, as the grape-gleanings when the vintage is done.
 They raise their voices, they shout for joy; They cry out from the west concerning the majesty of the LORD.14 They shall lift up their voice, they shall sing for the majesty of the LORD, they shall cry aloud from the sea.14 They raise their voices. They shout for joy. From the sea they sing joyfully about the LORD's majesty.14 These shall lift up their voice. They will shout for the majesty of Yahweh. They cry aloud from the sea.14 These shall lift up their voice, they shall shout for the majesty of Jehovah, they shall cry aloud from the sea.
 Therefore glorify the LORD in the east, The name of the LORD, the God of Israel, In the coastlands of the sea.15 Wherefore glorify ye the LORD in the fires, even the name of the LORD God of Israel in the isles of the sea.15 Honor the LORD in the east. Honor the name of the LORD God of Israel along the coastlands.15 Therefore glorify Yahweh in the east, even the name of Yahweh, the God of Israel, in the islands of the sea!15 Therefore glorify Jehovah in the east, the name of Jehovah, the God of Israel, in the isles of the west.

 From the ends of the earth we hear songs, "Glory to the Righteous One," But I say, "Woe to me! Woe to me! Alas for me! The treacherous deal treacherously, And the treacherous deal very treacherously."16 From the uttermost part of the earth have we heard songs, even glory to the righteous. But I said, My leanness, my leanness, woe unto me! the treacherous dealers have dealt treacherously; yea, the treacherous dealers have dealt very treacherously.16 From the ends of the earth we hear songs of praise that honor the Righteous One. But I kept saying, "I'm wasting away! I'm wasting away! How horrible it is for me! Traitors continue to betray, and their treachery grows worse and worse."16 From the uttermost part of the earth have we heard songs. Glory to the righteous! But I said, "I pine away! I pine away! woe is me!" The treacherous have dealt treacherously. Yes, the treacherous have dealt very treacherously.16 From the end of the earth have we heard songs: Glory to the righteous! And I said, My leanness, my leanness, woe unto me! The treacherous have dealt treacherously; yea, the treacherous have dealt very treacherously.
 Terror and pit and snare Confront you, O inhabitant of the earth.17 Fear, and the pit, and the snare, are upon thee, O inhabitant of the earth.17 Disasters, pits, and traps are in store for those who live on earth.17 Fear, the pit, and the snare, are on you who inhabitant the earth.17 Fear, and the pit, and the snare are upon thee, inhabitant of the land.
 Then it will be that he who flees the report of disaster will fall into the pit, And he who climbs out of the pit will be caught in the snare; For the windows above are opened, and the foundations of the earth shake.18 And it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake.18 Whoever flees from news of a disaster will fall into a pit. Whoever climbs out of that pit will be caught in a trap. The floodgates in the sky will be opened, and the foundations of the earth will shake.18 It will happen that he who flees from the noise of the fear will fall into the pit; and he who comes up out of the midst of the pit will be taken in the snare; for the windows on high are opened, and the foundations of the earth tremble.18 And it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth from the sound of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare; for the windows on high are open, and the foundations of the earth shake.
 The earth is broken asunder, The earth is split through, The earth is shaken violently.19 The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly.19 The earth will be completely broken. The earth will shake back and forth violently. The earth will stagger.19 The earth is utterly broken. The earth is torn apart. The earth is shaken violently.19 The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is completely dissolved, the earth is violently moved.
 The earth reels to and fro like a drunkard And it totters like a shack, For its transgression is heavy upon it, And it will fall, never to rise again.20 The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.20 The earth will stumble like a drunk and sway like a shack in the wind. Its disobedience weighs heavy on it. It will fall and not get up again.20 The earth will stagger like a drunken man, and will sway back and forth like a hammock. Its disobedience will be heavy on it, and it will fall and not rise again.20 The earth reeleth to and fro like a drunkard, and is shaken like a night hut; and its transgression is heavy upon it; and it falleth and shall not rise again.
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
 So it will happen in that day, That the LORD will punish the host of heaven on high, And the kings of the earth on earth.21 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.21 On that day the LORD will punish heaven's armies in heaven and earth's kings on earth.21 It shall happen in that day that Yahweh will punish the army of the high ones on high, and the kings of the earth on the earth.21 And it shall come to pass in that day, that Jehovah will punish the host of the high ones on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.
 They will be gathered together Like prisoners in the dungeon, And will be confined in prison; And after many days they will be punished.22 And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited.22 They'll be gathered like prisoners in a jail and locked in prison. After a long time they'll be punished.22 They shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison; and after many days shall they be visited.22 And they shall be brought together, as an assemblage of prisoners for the pit, and shall be shut up in prison, and after many days shall they be visited.
 Then the moon will be abashed and the sun ashamed, For the LORD of hosts will reign on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem, And His glory will be before His elders.23 Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.23 The moon will be embarrassed. The sun will be ashamed, because the LORD of Armies will rule on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem. He will be glorious in the presence of his respected leaders.23 Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed; for Yahweh of Armies will reign on Mount Zion, and in Jerusalem; and before his elders will be glory.23 And the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed; for Jehovah of hosts shall reign on mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients in glory.
