The Greatness of God
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
 "Comfort, O comfort My people," says your God.1 Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God.1 "Comfort my people! Comfort them!" says your God.1 "Comfort, comfort my people," says your God.1 Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God.
 "Speak kindly to Jerusalem; And call out to her, that her warfare has ended, That her iniquity has been removed, That she has received of the LORD'S hand Double for all her sins."2 Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the LORD's hand double for all her sins.2 "Speak tenderly to Jerusalem and announce to it that its time of hard labor is over and its wrongs have been paid for. It has received from the LORD double for all its sins."2 "Speak comfortably to Jerusalem; and call out to her that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned, that she has received of Yahweh's hand double for all her sins."2 Speak to the heart of Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her time of suffering is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned; for she hath received of Jehovah's hand double for all her sins.
 A voice is calling, "Clear the way for the LORD in the wilderness; Make smooth in the desert a highway for our God.3 The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.3 A voice cries out in the desert: "Clear a way for the LORD. Make a straight highway in the wilderness for our God.3 The voice of one who calls out, "Prepare the way of Yahweh in the wilderness! Make a level highway in the desert for our God.3 The voice of one crying in the wilderness: Prepare ye the way of Jehovah, make straight in the desert a highway for our God!
 "Let every valley be lifted up, And every mountain and hill be made low; And let the rough ground become a plain, And the rugged terrain a broad valley;4 Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:4 Every valley will be raised. Every mountain and hill will be lowered. Steep places will be made level. Rough places will be made smooth.4 Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low. The uneven shall be made level, and the rough places a plain.4 Every valley shall be raised up, and every mountain and hill shall be brought low; and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places a plain.
 Then the glory of the LORD will be revealed, And all flesh will see it together; For the mouth of the LORD has spoken."5 And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.5 Then the LORD's glory will be revealed and all people will see it together. The LORD has spoken."5 The glory of Yahweh shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together; for the mouth of Yahweh has spoken it."5 And the glory of Jehovah shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of Jehovah hath spoken.
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
 A voice says, "Call out." Then he answered, "What shall I call out?" All flesh is grass, and all its loveliness is like the flower of the field.6 The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field:6 A voice called, "Call out!" I asked, "What should I call out?" "Call out: All people are like grass, and all their beauty is like a flower in the field.6 The voice of one saying, "Cry!" One said, "What shall I cry?" "All flesh is like grass, and all its glory is like the flower of the field.6 A voice saith, Cry. And he saith, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the comeliness thereof as the flower of the field.
 The grass withers, the flower fades, When the breath of the LORD blows upon it; Surely the people are grass.7 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the LORD bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass.7 Grass dries up, and flowers wither when the LORD's breath blows on them. Yes, people are like grass.7 The grass withers, the flower fades, because Yahweh's breath blows on it. Surely the people are like grass.7 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth, for the breath of Jehovah bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass.
 The grass withers, the flower fades, But the word of our God stands forever.8 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.8 Grass dries up, and flowers wither, but the word of our God will last forever."8 The grass withers, the flower fades; but the word of our God stands forever."8 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth; but the word of our God abideth for ever.
 Get yourself up on a high mountain, O Zion, bearer of good news, Lift up your voice mightily, O Jerusalem, bearer of good news; Lift it up, do not fear. Say to the cities of Judah, "Here is your God!"9 O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God!9 Go up a high mountain, Zion. Tell the good news! Call out with a loud voice, Jerusalem. Tell the good news! Raise your voice without fear. Tell the cities of Judah: "Here is your God!"9 You who tell good news to Zion, go up on a high mountain. You who tell good news to Jerusalem, lift up your voice with strength. Lift it up. Don't be afraid. Say to the cities of Judah, "Behold, your God!"9 O Zion, that bringest glad tidings, get thee up into a high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest glad tidings, lift up thy voice with strength: lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God!
 Behold, the Lord GOD will come with might, With His arm ruling for Him. Behold, His reward is with Him And His recompense before Him.10 Behold, the Lord GOD will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.10 The Almighty LORD is coming with power to rule with authority. His reward is with him, and the people he has won arrive ahead of him.10 Behold, the Lord Yahweh will come as a mighty one, and his arm will rule for him. Behold, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him.10 Behold, the Lord Jehovah will come with might, and his arm shall rule for him; behold, his reward is with him, and his recompence before him.

 Like a shepherd He will tend His flock, In His arm He will gather the lambs And carry them in His bosom; He will gently lead the nursing ewes.11 He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.11 Like a shepherd he takes care of his flock. He gathers the lambs in his arms. He carries them in his arms. He gently helps the sheep and their lambs.11 He will feed his flock like a shepherd. He will gather the lambs in his arm, and carry them in his bosom. He will gently lead those who have their young.11 He will feed his flock like a shepherd: he will gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom; he will gently lead those that give suck.
 Who has measured the waters in the hollow of His hand, And marked off the heavens by the span, And calculated the dust of the earth by the measure, And weighed the mountains in a balance And the hills in a pair of scales?12 Who hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and meted out heaven with the span, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance?12 Who has measured the water of the sea with the palm of his hand or measured the sky with the length of his hand? Who has held the dust of the earth in a bushel basket or weighed the mountains on a scale and the hills on a balance? 12 Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and marked off the sky with his span, and calculated the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance?12 Who hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and meted out the heavens with his span, and grasped the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in a balance, and the hills in scales?
 Who has directed the Spirit of the LORD, Or as His counselor has informed Him?13 Who hath directed the Spirit of the LORD, or being his counsellor hath taught him?13 Who has directed the Spirit of the LORD or instructed him as his adviser?13 Who has directed the Spirit of Yahweh, or has taught him as his counselor?13 Who hath directed the Spirit of Jehovah, and, as his counsellor, hath taught him?
 With whom did He consult and who gave Him understanding? And who taught Him in the path of justice and taught Him knowledge And informed Him of the way of understanding?14 With whom took he counsel, and who instructed him, and taught him in the path of judgment, and taught him knowledge, and shewed to him the way of understanding?14 Whom did he consult? Who gave him understanding? Who taught him the right way? Who taught him knowledge? Who informed him about the way to understanding?14 Who did he take counsel with, and who instructed him, and taught him in the path of justice, and taught him knowledge, and showed him the way of understanding?14 With whom took he counsel, and who gave him intelligence, and instructed him in the path of judgment, and taught him knowledge, and shewed him the way of understanding?
 Behold, the nations are like a drop from a bucket, And are regarded as a speck of dust on the scales; Behold, He lifts up the islands like fine dust.15 Behold, the nations are as a drop of a bucket, and are counted as the small dust of the balance: behold, he taketh up the isles as a very little thing.15 The nations are like a drop in a bucket and are considered to be like dust on a scale. The weight of the islands is like fine dust.15 Behold, the nations are like a drop in a bucket, and are regarded as a speck of dust on a balance. Behold, he lifts up the islands like a very little thing.15 Behold, the nations are esteemed as a drop of the bucket, and as the fine dust on the scales; behold, he taketh up the isles as an atom.

 Even Lebanon is not enough to burn, Nor its beasts enough for a burnt offering.16 And Lebanon is not sufficient to burn, nor the beasts thereof sufficient for a burnt offering.16 All the trees in Lebanon are not enough to burn an offering. Its wild animals are not enough for a single burnt offering.16 Lebanon is not sufficient to burn, nor its animals sufficient for a burnt offering.16 And Lebanon is not sufficient to burn, nor the beasts thereof sufficient for a burnt-offering.
 All the nations are as nothing before Him, They are regarded by Him as less than nothing and meaningless.17 All nations before him are as nothing; and they are counted to him less than nothing, and vanity.17 All the nations amount to nothing in his presence. He considers them less than nothing and worthless.17 All the nations are like nothing before him. They are regarded by him as less than nothing, and vanity.17 All the nations are as nothing before him; they are esteemed by him less than a cipher, and vanity.
 To whom then will you liken God? Or what likeness will you compare with Him?18 To whom then will ye liken God? or what likeness will ye compare unto him?18 To whom, then, can you compare God? To what statue can you compare him?18 To whom then will you liken God? Or what likeness will you compare to him?18 To whom then will ye liken God? and what likeness will ye compare unto him?
 As for the idol, a craftsman casts it, A goldsmith plates it with gold, And a silversmith fashions chains of silver.19 The workman melteth a graven image, and the goldsmith spreadeth it over with gold, and casteth silver chains.19 Craftsmen make idols. Goldsmiths cover them with gold. Silversmiths make silver chains for them.19 A workman has cast an image, and the goldsmith overlays it with gold, and casts silver chains for it.19 The workman casteth a graven image, and the goldsmith spreadeth it over with gold, and casteth silver chains for it.
 He who is too impoverished for such an offering Selects a tree that does not rot; He seeks out for himself a skillful craftsman To prepare an idol that will not totter.20 He that is so impoverished that he hath no oblation chooseth a tree that will not rot; he seeketh unto him a cunning workman to prepare a graven image, that shall not be moved.20 The poorest people choose wood that will not rot and search out skillful craftsmen to set up idols that will not fall over.20 He who is too impoverished for such an offering chooses a tree that will not rot. He seeks a skillful workman to set up an engraved image for him that will not be moved.20 He that is impoverished, so that he hath no offering, chooseth a tree that doth not rot; he seeketh unto him a skilled workman to prepare a graven image that shall not be moved.

 Do you not know? Have you not heard? Has it not been declared to you from the beginning? Have you not understood from the foundations of the earth?21 Have ye not known? have ye not heard? hath it not been told you from the beginning? have ye not understood from the foundations of the earth?21 Don't you know? Haven't you heard? Haven't you been told from the beginning? Don't you understand the foundations of the earth?21 Haven't you known? Haven't you heard, yet? Haven't you been told from the beginning? Haven't you understood from the foundations of the earth?21 do ye not know? have ye not heard? hath it not been told you from the beginning? have ye not understood the foundation of the earth?
 It is He who sits above the circle of the earth, And its inhabitants are like grasshoppers, Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain And spreads them out like a tent to dwell in.22 It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:22 God is enthroned above the earth, and those who live on it are like grasshoppers. He stretches out the sky like a canopy and spreads it out like a tent to live in.22 It is he who sits above the circle of the earth, and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers; who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, and spreads them out like a tent to dwell in;22 It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a gauze curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in;
 He it is who reduces rulers to nothing, Who makes the judges of the earth meaningless.23 That bringeth the princes to nothing; he maketh the judges of the earth as vanity.23 He makes rulers unimportant and makes earthly judges worth nothing.23 who brings princes to nothing; who makes the judges of the earth like meaningless.23 that bringeth the princes to nothing, that maketh the judges of the earth as vanity.
 Scarcely have they been planted, Scarcely have they been sown, Scarcely has their stock taken root in the earth, But He merely blows on them, and they wither, And the storm carries them away like stubble.24 Yea, they shall not be planted; yea, they shall not be sown: yea, their stock shall not take root in the earth: and he shall also blow upon them, and they shall wither, and the whirlwind shall take them away as stubble.24 They have hardly been planted. They have hardly been sown. They have hardly taken root in the ground. Then he blows on them and they wither, and a windstorm sweeps them away like straw.24 They are planted scarcely. They are sown scarcely. Their stock has scarcely taken root in the ground. He merely blows on them, and they wither, and the whirlwind takes them away as stubble.24 Scarcely are they planted, scarcely are they sown, scarcely hath their stock taken root in the earth, but he also bloweth upon them and they wither, and the whirlwind taketh them away as stubble.
 "To whom then will you liken Me That I would be his equal?" says the Holy One.25 To whom then will ye liken me, or shall I be equal? saith the Holy One.25 "To whom, then, can you compare me? Who is my equal?" asks the Holy One.25 "To whom then will you liken me? Who is my equal?" says the Holy One.25 To whom then will ye liken me, or shall I be equal? saith the Holy One.
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
 Lift up your eyes on high And see who has created these stars, The One who leads forth their host by number, He calls them all by name; Because of the greatness of His might and the strength of His power, Not one of them is missing.26 Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number: he calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that he is strong in power; not one faileth.26 Look at the sky and see. Who created these things? Who brings out the stars one by one? He calls them all by name. Because of the greatness of his might and the strength of his power, not one of them is missing.26 Lift up your eyes on high, and see who has created these, who brings out their army by number. He calls them all by name. by the greatness of his might, and because he is strong in power, Not one is lacking.26 Lift up your eyes on high, and see! Who hath created these things, bringing out their host by number? He calleth them all by name; through the greatness of his might and strength of power, not one faileth.
 Why do you say, O Jacob, and assert, O Israel, "My way is hidden from the LORD, And the justice due me escapes the notice of my God "?27 Why sayest thou, O Jacob, and speakest, O Israel, My way is hid from the LORD, and my judgment is passed over from my God?27 Jacob, why do you complain? Israel, why do you say, "My way is hidden from the LORD, and my rights are ignored by my God"?27 Why do you say, Jacob, and speak, Israel, "My way is hidden from Yahweh, and the justice due me is disregarded by my God?"27 Why sayest thou, Jacob, and speakest, O Israel, My way is hid from Jehovah, and my right is passed away from my God?
 Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth Does not become weary or tired. His understanding is inscrutable.28 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.28 Don't you know? Haven't you heard? The eternal God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, doesn't grow tired or become weary. His understanding is beyond reach.28 Haven't you known? Haven't you heard? The everlasting God, Yahweh, The Creator of the ends of the earth, doesn't faint. He isn't weary. His understanding is unsearchable.28 Dost thou not know, hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, Jehovah, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not nor tireth? There is no searching of his understanding.
 He gives strength to the weary, And to him who lacks might He increases power.29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.29 He gives strength to those who grow tired and increases the strength of those who are weak.29 He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might.29 He giveth power to the faint; and to him that hath no might he increaseth strength.
 Though youths grow weary and tired, And vigorous young men stumble badly,30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:30 Even young people grow tired and become weary, and young men will stumble and fall.30 Even the youths faint and get weary, and the young men utterly fall;30 Even the youths shall faint and shall tire, and the young men shall stumble and fall;
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
 Yet those who wait for the LORD Will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary.31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.31 Yet, the strength of those who wait with hope in the LORD will be renewed. They will soar on wings like eagles. They will run and won't become weary. They will walk and won't grow tired.31 But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint.31 but they that wait upon Jehovah shall renew their strength: they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not tire; they shall walk, and not faint.
