 He said to His disciples, "It is inevitable that stumbling blocks come, but woe to him through whom they come!1 Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!1 Jesus told his disciples, "Situations that cause people to lose their faith are certain to arise. But how horrible it will be for the person who causes someone to lose his faith!1 He said to the disciples, "It is impossible that no occasions of stumbling should come, but woe to him through whom they come!1 And he said to his disciples, It cannot be but that offences come, but woe to him by whom they come!
 "It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea, than that he would cause one of these little ones to stumble.2 It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.2 It would be best for that person to be thrown into the sea with a large stone hung around his neck than for him to cause one of these little ones to lose his faith.2 It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, rather than that he should cause one of these little ones to stumble.2 It would be more profitable for him if a millstone were hanged about his neck and he cast into the sea, than that he should be a snare to one of these little ones.
 "Be on your guard! If your brother sins, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him.3 Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.3 So watch yourselves! "If a believer sins, correct him. If he changes the way he thinks and acts, forgive him.3 Be careful. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him. If he repents, forgive him.3 Take heed to yourselves: if thy brother should sin, rebuke him; and if he should repent, forgive him.
 "And if he sins against you seven times a day, and returns to you seven times, saying, 'I repent,' forgive him."4 And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.4 Even if he wrongs you seven times in one day and comes back to you seven times and says that he is sorry, forgive him."4 If he sins against you seven times in the day, and seven times returns, saying, 'I repent,' you shall forgive him."4 And if he should sin against thee seven times in the day, and seven times should return to thee, saying, I repent, thou shalt forgive him.
 The apostles said to the Lord, "Increase our faith!"5 And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.5 Then the apostles said to the Lord, "Give us more faith."5 The apostles said to the Lord, "Increase our faith."5 And the apostles said to the Lord, Give more faith to us.

 And the Lord said, "If you had faith like a mustard seed, you would say to this mulberry tree, 'Be uprooted and be planted in the sea'; and it would obey you.6 And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.6 The Lord said, "If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, 'Pull yourself up by the roots, and plant yourself in the sea!' and it would obey you.6 The Lord said, "If you had faith like a grain of mustard seed, you would tell this sycamore tree, 'Be uprooted, and be planted in the sea,' and it would obey you.6 But the Lord said, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye had said to this sycamine tree, Be thou rooted up, and be thou planted in the sea, and it would have obeyed you.
 "Which of you, having a slave plowing or tending sheep, will say to him when he has come in from the field, 'Come immediately and sit down to eat'?7 But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he is come from the field, Go and sit down to meat?7 "Suppose someone has a servant who is plowing fields or watching sheep. Does he tell his servant when he comes from the field, 'Have something to eat'?7 But who is there among you, having a servant plowing or keeping sheep, that will say, when he comes in from the field, 'Come immediately and sit down at the table,'7 But which of you is there who, having a bondman ploughing or shepherding, when he comes in out of the field, will say, Come and lie down immediately to table?
 "But will he not say to him, 'Prepare something for me to eat, and properly clothe yourself and serve me while I eat and drink; and afterward you may eat and drink '?8 And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink?8 No. Instead, he tells his servant, 'Get dinner ready for me! After you serve me my dinner, you can eat yours.'8 and will not rather tell him, 'Prepare my supper, clothe yourself properly, and serve me, while I eat and drink. Afterward you shall eat and drink'?8 But will he not say to him, Prepare what I shall sup on, and gird thyself and serve me that I may eat and drink; and after that thou shalt eat and drink?
 "He does not thank the slave because he did the things which were commanded, does he?9 Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I trow not.9 He doesn't thank the servant for following orders.9 Does he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded? I think not.9 Is he thankful to the bondman because he has done what was ordered? I judge not.
 "So you too, when you do all the things which are commanded you, say, 'We are unworthy slaves; we have done only that which we ought to have done.'"10 So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.10 That's the way it is with you. When you've done everything you're ordered to do, say, 'We're worthless servants. We've only done our duty.'"10 Even so you also, when you have done all the things that are commanded you, say, 'We are unworthy servants. We have done our duty.'"10 Thus ye also, when ye shall have done all things that have been ordered you, say, We are unprofitable bondmen; we have done what it was our duty to do.
Ten Lepers Cleansed
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
 While He was on the way to Jerusalem, He was passing between Samaria and Galilee.11 And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.11 Jesus traveled along the border between Samaria and Galilee on his way to Jerusalem.11 It happened as he was on his way to Jerusalem, that he was passing along the borders of Samaria and Galilee.11 And it came to pass as he was going up to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.
 As He entered a village, ten leprous men who stood at a distance met Him;12 And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off:12 As he went into a village, ten men with a skin disease met him. They stood at a distance12 As he entered into a certain village, ten men who were lepers met him, who stood at a distance.12 And as he entered into a certain village ten leprous men met him, who stood afar off.
 and they raised their voices, saying, "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!"13 And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.13 and shouted, "Jesus, Teacher, have mercy on us!"13 They lifted up their voices, saying, "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!"13 And they lifted up their voice saying, Jesus, Master, have compassion on us.
 When He saw them, He said to them, "Go and show yourselves to the priests." And as they were going, they were cleansed.14 And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.14 When he saw them, he told them, "Show yourselves to the priests." As they went, they were made clean. 14 When he saw them, he said to them, "Go and show yourselves to the priests." It happened that as they went, they were cleansed.14 And seeing them he said to them, Go, shew yourselves to the priests. And it came to pass as they were going they were cleansed.
 Now one of them, when he saw that he had been healed, turned back, glorifying God with a loud voice,15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,15 When one of them saw that he was healed, he turned back and praised God in a loud voice.15 One of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, glorifying God with a loud voice.15 And one of them, seeing that he was cured, turned back, glorifying God with a loud voice,

 and he fell on his face at His feet, giving thanks to Him. And he was a Samaritan.16 And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.16 He quickly bowed at Jesus' feet and thanked him. (The man was a Samaritan.)16 He fell on his face at Jesus' feet, giving him thanks; and he was a Samaritan.16 and fell on his face at his feet giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.
 Then Jesus answered and said, "Were there not ten cleansed? But the nine-- where are they?17 And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?17 Jesus asked, "Weren't ten men made clean? Where are the other nine?17 Jesus answered, "Weren't the ten cleansed? But where are the nine?17 And Jesus answering said, Were not the ten cleansed? but the nine, where are they?
 "Was no one found who returned to give glory to God, except this foreigner?"18 There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.18 Only this foreigner came back to praise God."18 Were there none found who returned to give glory to God, except this stranger?"18 There have not been found to return and give glory to God save this stranger.
 And He said to him, "Stand up and go; your faith has made you well."19 And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.19 Jesus told the man, "Get up, and go home! Your faith has made you well."19 Then he said to him, "Get up, and go your way. Your faith has healed you."19 And he said to him, Rise up and go thy way: thy faith has made thee well.
 Now having been questioned by the Pharisees as to when the kingdom of God was coming, He answered them and said, "The kingdom of God is not coming with signs to be observed;20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:20 The Pharisees asked Jesus when the kingdom of God would come. He answered them, "People can't observe the coming of the kingdom of God.20 Being asked by the Pharisees when the Kingdom of God would come, he answered them, "The Kingdom of God doesn't come with observation;20 And having been asked by the Pharisees, When is the kingdom of God coming? he answered them and said, The kingdom of God does not come with observation;

 nor will they say, 'Look, here it is!' or, 'There it is!' For behold, the kingdom of God is in your midst."21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.21 They can't say, 'Here it is!' or 'There it is!' You see, the kingdom of God is within you." 21 neither will they say, 'Look, here!' or, 'Look, there!' for behold, the Kingdom of God is within you."21 nor shall they say, Lo here, or, Lo there; for behold, the kingdom of God is in the midst of you.
Second Coming Foretold
 And He said to the disciples, "The days will come when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see it.22 And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it.22 Jesus said to his disciples, "The time will come when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man, but you will not see it.22 He said to the disciples, "The days will come, when you will desire to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see it.22 And he said to the disciples, Days are coming, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and shall not see it.
 "They will say to you, 'Look there! Look here!' Do not go away, and do not run after them.23 And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them.23 People will say, 'There he is!' or 'Here he is!' Don't run after those people.23 They will tell you, 'Look, here!' or 'Look, there!' Don't go away, nor follow after them,23 And they will say to you, Lo here, or Lo there; go not, nor follow them.
 "For just like the lightning, when it flashes out of one part of the sky, shines to the other part of the sky, so will the Son of Man be in His day.24 For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.24 The day of the Son of Man will be like lightning that flashes from one end of the sky to the other. 24 for as the lightning, when it flashes out of the one part under the sky, shines to the other part under the sky; so will the Son of Man be in his day.24 For as the lightning shines which lightens from one end under heaven to the other end under heaven, thus shall the Son of man be in his day.
 "But first He must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation.25 But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation.25 But first he must suffer a lot and be rejected by the people of his day.25 But first, he must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation.25 But first he must suffer many things and be rejected of this generation.
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
 "And just as it happened in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man:26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.26 "When the Son of Man comes again, the situation will be like the time of Noah.26 As it happened in the days of Noah, even so will it be also in the days of the Son of Man.26 And as it took place in the days of Noe, thus also shall it be in the days of the Son of man:
 they were eating, they were drinking, they were marrying, they were being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.27 People were eating, drinking, and getting married until the day that Noah went into the ship. Then the flood destroyed all of them.27 They ate, they drank, they married, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ship, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.27 they ate, they drank, they married, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came and destroyed all of them;
 "It was the same as happened in the days of Lot: they were eating, they were drinking, they were buying, they were selling, they were planting, they were building;28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;28 "The situation will also be like the time of Lot. People were eating, drinking, buying and selling, planting and building.28 Likewise, even as it happened in the days of Lot: they ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built;28 and in like manner as took place in the days of Lot: they ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
 but on the day that Lot went out from Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all.29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.29 But on the day that Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained from the sky and destroyed all of them.29 but in the day that Lot went out from Sodom, it rained fire and sulfur from the sky, and destroyed them all.29 but on the day that Lot went out from Sodom, it rained fire and sulphur from heaven, and destroyed all of them:
 "It will be just the same on the day that the Son of Man is revealed.30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.30 The day when the Son of Man is revealed will be like that.30 It will be the same way in the day that the Son of Man is revealed.30 after this manner shall it be in the day that the Son of man is revealed.
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
 "On that day, the one who is on the housetop and whose goods are in the house must not go down to take them out; and likewise the one who is in the field must not turn back.31 In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.31 "On that day those who are on the roof shouldn't come down to get their belongings out of their houses. Those who are in the field shouldn't turn back.31 In that day, he who will be on the housetop, and his goods in the house, let him not go down to take them away. Let him who is in the field likewise not turn back.31 In that day, he who shall be on the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not go down to take it away; and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.
 "Remember Lot's wife.32 Remember Lot's wife.32 Remember Lot's wife!32 Remember Lot's wife!32 Remember the wife of Lot.
 "Whoever seeks to keep his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it.33 Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.33 Those who try to save their lives will lose them, and those who lose their lives will save them.33 Whoever seeks to save his life loses it, but whoever loses his life preserves it.33 Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it, and whosoever shall lose it shall preserve it.
 "I tell you, on that night there will be two in one bed; one will be taken and the other will be left.34 I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.34 "I can guarantee that on that night if two people are in one bed, one will be taken and the other one will be left.34 I tell you, in that night there will be two people in one bed. The one will be taken, and the other will be left.34 I say to you, In that night there shall be two men upon one bed; one shall be seized and the other shall be let go.
 "There will be two women grinding at the same place; one will be taken and the other will be left.35 Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.35 Two women will be grinding grain together. One will be taken, and the other one will be left." 35 There will be two grinding grain together. One will be taken, and the other will be left."35 Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be seized and the other shall be let go.

 "Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other will be left."36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.36 36 36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be seized and the other let go.
 And answering they said to Him, "Where, Lord?" And He said to them, "Where the body is, there also the vultures will be gathered."37 And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.37 They asked him, "Where, Lord?" Jesus told them, "Vultures will gather wherever there is a dead body."37 They, answering, asked him, "Where, Lord?" He said to them, "Where the body is, there will the vultures also be gathered together."37 And answering they say to him, Where, Lord? And he said to them, Where the body is, there the eagles will be gathered together.
