| 1 Woe is me! For I am Like the fruit pickers, like the grape gatherers. There is not a cluster of grapes to eat, Or a first-ripe fig which I crave. | 1 Woe is me! for I am as when they have gathered the summer fruits, as the grapegleanings of the vintage: there is no cluster to eat: my soul desired the firstripe fruit. | 1 Poor me! I am like those gathering summer fruit, like those picking grapes. But there aren't any grapes to eat or any ripened figs that I crave. | 1 Misery is mine! Indeed, I am like one who gathers the summer fruits, as gleanings of the vineyard: There is no cluster of grapes to eat. | 7 But as for me, I will watch expectantly for the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation. So I will endure his fury until he takes up my cause and wins my case. | 11 It will be a day for building your walls. | 16 Nations will see and be ashamed Of all their might. You forgive sin and overlook the rebellion of your faithful people. You will not be angry forever, because you would rather show mercy. | 18 Who is a God like you, who pardons iniquity, and passes over the disobedience of the remnant of his heritage?
