Solomon’s Love Expressed
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
"How beautiful you are, my darling, How beautiful you are! Your eyes are like doves behind your veil; Your hair is like a flock of goats That have descended from Mount Gilead.1 Behold, thou art fair, my love; behold, thou art fair; thou hast doves' eyes within thy locks: thy hair is as a flock of goats, that appear from mount Gilead.1 Look at you! You are beautiful, my true love. Look at you! You are so beautiful. Your eyes behind your veil are like doves. Your hair is like a flock of goats moving down Mount Gilead.1 Behold, you are beautiful, my love. Behold, you are beautiful. Your eyes are doves behind your veil. Your hair is as a flock of goats, that descend from Mount Gilead.1 Behold, thou art fair, my love; behold, thou art fair; Thine eyes are doves behind thy veil; Thy hair is as a flock of goats, On the slopes of mount Gilead.
"Your teeth are like a flock of newly shorn ewes Which have come up from their washing, All of which bear twins, And not one among them has lost her young.2 Thy teeth are like a flock of sheep that are even shorn, which came up from the washing; whereof every one bear twins, and none is barren among them.2 Your teeth are like a flock of sheep about to be sheared, sheep that come up from the washing. All of them bear twins, and not one has lost its young.2 Your teeth are like a newly shorn flock, which have come up from the washing, where every one of them has twins. None is bereaved among them.2 Thy teeth are like a flock of shorn sheep, Which go up from the washing; Which have all borne twins, And none is barren among them.
"Your lips are like a scarlet thread, And your mouth is lovely. Your temples are like a slice of a pomegranate Behind your veil.3 Thy lips are like a thread of scarlet, and thy speech is comely: thy temples are like a piece of a pomegranate within thy locks.3 Your lips are like scarlet thread. Your mouth is lovely. Your temples behind your veil are like slices of pomegranate.3 Your lips are like scarlet thread. Your mouth is lovely. Your temples are like a piece of a pomegranate behind your veil.3 Thy lips are like a thread of scarlet, And thy speech is comely; As a piece of a pomegranate are thy temples Behind thy veil.
"Your neck is like the tower of David, Built with rows of stones On which are hung a thousand shields, All the round shields of the mighty men.4 Thy neck is like the tower of David builded for an armoury, whereon there hang a thousand bucklers, all shields of mighty men.4 Your neck is like David's beautifully-designed tower. A thousand round shields belonging to soldiers are hung on it.4 Your neck is like David's tower built for an armory, whereon a thousand shields hang, all the shields of the mighty men.4 Thy neck is like the tower of David, Built for an armoury: A thousand bucklers hang thereon, All shields of mighty men.
"Your two breasts are like two fawns, Twins of a gazelle Which feed among the lilies.5 Thy two breasts are like two young roes that are twins, which feed among the lilies.5 Your breasts are like two fawns, like twin gazelles grazing among the lilies.5 Your two breasts are like two fawns that are twins of a roe, which feed among the lilies.5 Thy two breasts are like two fawns, twins of a gazelle, Which feed among the lilies.

"Until the cool of the day When the shadows flee away, I will go my way to the mountain of myrrh And to the hill of frankincense.6 Until the day break, and the shadows flee away, I will get me to the mountain of myrrh, and to the hill of frankincense.6 When the day brings a cool breeze and the shadows flee, I will go to the mountain of myrrh and the hill of incense.6 Until the day is cool, and the shadows flee away, I will go to the mountain of myrrh, to the hill of frankincense.6 Until the day dawn, and the shadows flee away, I will get me to the mountain of myrrh, And to the hill of frankincense.
"You are altogether beautiful, my darling, And there is no blemish in you.7 Thou art all fair, my love; there is no spot in thee.7 You are beautiful in every way, my true love. There is no blemish on you.7 You are all beautiful, my love. There is no spot in you.7 Thou art all fair, my love; And there is no spot in thee.

"How beautiful is your love, my sister, my bride! How much better is your love than wine, And the fragrance of your oils Than all kinds of spices!10 How fair is thy love, my sister, my spouse! how much better is thy love than wine! and the smell of thine ointments than all spices!10 How beautiful are your expressions of love, my bride, my sister! How much better are your expressions of love than wine and the fragrance of your perfume than any spice.10 How beautiful is your love, my sister, my bride! How much better is your love than wine! The fragrance of your perfumes than all kinds of spices!10 How fair is thy love, my sister, my spouse! How much better is thy love than wine! And the fragrance of thine ointments than all spices!
