O LORD, my heart is not proud, nor my eyes haughty; Nor do I involve myself in great matters, Or in things too difficult for me. | 1 Lord, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me. | 1 [A song by David for going up to worship.] O LORD, my heart is not conceited. My eyes do not look down on others. I am not involved in things too big or too difficult for me. | 1 Yahweh, my heart isn't haughty, nor my eyes lofty; nor do I concern myself with great matters, or things too wonderful for me. | 1 {A Song of degrees. Of David.} Jehovah, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty; neither do I exercise myself in great matters, and in things too wonderful for me. | 2 Surely I have composed and quieted my soul; Like a weaned child rests against his mother, My soul is like a weaned child within me. | 2 Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child. | 2 Instead, I have kept my soul calm and quiet. My soul is content as a weaned child is content in its mother's arms. | 2 Surely I have stilled and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with his mother, like a weaned child is my soul within me. | 2 Surely I have restrained and composed my soul, like a weaned child with its mother: my soul within me is as a weaned child. | 3 O Israel, hope in the LORD From this time forth and forever. | 3 Let Israel hope in the LORD from henceforth and for ever. | 3 Israel, put your hope in the LORD now and forever. | 3 Israel, hope in Yahweh, from this time forth and forevermore.
