| 1 And working together with Him, we also urge you not to receive the grace of God in vain-- | 1 We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain. | 1 Since we are God's coworkers, we urge you not to let God's kindness be wasted on you. | 1 Working together, we entreat also that you not receive the grace of God in vain, | 1 But as fellow-workmen, we also beseech that ye receive not the grace of God in vain: | 2 for He says, "AT THE ACCEPTABLE TIME I LISTENED TO YOU, AND ON THE DAY OF SALVATION I HELPED YOU." Behold, now is "THE ACCEPTABLE TIME," behold, now is "THE DAY OF SALVATION "-- | 2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.) | 2 God says, "At the right time I heard you. On the day of salvation I helped you." Listen, now is God's acceptable time! Now is the day of salvation! | 2 for he says, "At an acceptable time I listened to you, in a day of salvation I helped you." Behold, now is the acceptable time. | 16 Or what agreement has the temple of God with idols?
