 "Give ear, O heavens, and let me speak; And let the earth hear the words of my mouth.1 Give ear, O ye heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the words of my mouth.1 Listen, heaven, and I will speak. Earth, hear the words from my mouth.1 Give ear, you heavens, and I will speak. Let the earth hear the words of my mouth.1 Give ear, ye heavens, and I will speak; And hear, O earth, the words of my mouth!
 "Let my teaching drop as the rain, My speech distill as the dew, As the droplets on the fresh grass And as the showers on the herb.2 My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass:2 Let my teachings come down like raindrops. Let my words drip like dew, like gentle rain on grass, like showers on green plants.2 My doctrine shall drop as the rain. My speech shall condense as the dew, as the small rain on the tender grass, as the showers on the herb.2 My doctrine shall drop as rain, My speech flow down as dew, As small rain upon the tender herb, And as showers on the grass.
 "For I proclaim the name of the LORD; Ascribe greatness to our God!3 Because I will publish the name of the LORD: ascribe ye greatness unto our God.3 I will proclaim the name of the LORD. Give our God the greatness he deserves!3 For I will proclaim the name of Yahweh. Ascribe greatness to our God!3 For the name of Jehovah will I proclaim: Ascribe greatness unto our God!
 "The Rock! His work is perfect, For all His ways are just; A God of faithfulness and without injustice, Righteous and upright is He.4 He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.4 He is a rock. What he does is perfect. All his ways are fair. He is a faithful God, who does no wrong. He is honorable and reliable.4 The Rock, his work is perfect, for all his ways are justice: a God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and right is he.4 He is the Rock, his work is perfect, For all his ways are righteousness; A God of faithfulness without deceit, Just and right is he.
 "They have acted corruptly toward Him, They are not His children, because of their defect; But are a perverse and crooked generation.5 They have corrupted themselves, their spot is not the spot of his children: they are a perverse and crooked generation.5 He recognizes that his people are corrupt. To their shame they are no longer his children. They are devious and scheming.5 They have dealt corruptly with him, [they are] not his children, [it is] their blemish. [They are] a perverse and crooked generation.5 They have dealt corruptly with him; Not his children's is their spot: A crooked and perverted generation!

 "Do you thus repay the LORD, O foolish and unwise people? Is not He your Father who has bought you? He has made you and established you.6 Do ye thus requite the LORD, O foolish people and unwise? is not he thy father that hath bought thee? hath he not made thee, and established thee?6 Is this how you repay the LORD, you foolish and silly people? Isn't he your Father and Owner, who made you and formed you?6 Do you thus requite Yahweh, foolish people and unwise? Isn't he your father who has bought you? He has made you, and established you.6 Do ye thus requite Jehovah, Foolish and unwise people? Is not he thy father that hath bought thee? Hath he not made thee and established thee?
 "Remember the days of old, Consider the years of all generations. Ask your father, and he will inform you, Your elders, and they will tell you.7 Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations: ask thy father, and he will show thee; thy elders, and they will tell thee.7 Remember a time long ago. Think about all the past generations. Ask your fathers to remind you, and your leaders to tell you.7 Remember the days of old. Consider the years of many generations. Ask your father, and he will show you; your elders, and they will tell you.7 Remember the days of old, Consider the years of generation to generation; Ask thy father, and he will shew thee; Thine elders, and they will tell thee.
 "When the Most High gave the nations their inheritance, When He separated the sons of man, He set the boundaries of the peoples According to the number of the sons of Israel.8 When the Most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel.8 When the Most High gave nations their land, when he divided the descendants of Adam, he set up borders for the tribes corresponding to the number of the sons of Israel.8 When the Most High gave to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the children of men, he set the bounds of the peoples according to the number of the children of Israel.8 When the Most High assigned to the nations their inheritance, When he separated the sons of Adam, He set the bounds of the peoples According to the number of the children of Israel.
 "For the LORD'S portion is His people; Jacob is the allotment of His inheritance.9 For the LORD's portion is his people; Jacob is the lot of his inheritance.9 But the LORD's people were his property. Jacob was his own possession.9 For Yahweh's portion is his people. Jacob is the lot of his inheritance.9 For Jehovah's portion is his people; Jacob the lot of his inheritance.
 "He found him in a desert land, And in the howling waste of a wilderness; He encircled him, He cared for him, He guarded him as the pupil of His eye.10 He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; he led him about, he instructed him, he kept him as the apple of his eye.10 He found his people in a desert land, in a barren place where animals howl. He guarded them, took care of them, and protected them because they were helpless.10 He found him in a desert land, in the waste howling wilderness. He surrounded him. He cared for him. He kept him as the apple of his eye.10 He found him in a desert land, And in the waste, howling wilderness; He compassed him about, he watched over him, He preserved him as the apple of his eye.

 "Like an eagle that stirs up its nest, That hovers over its young, He spread His wings and caught them, He carried them on His pinions.11 As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings:11 Like an eagle that stirs up its nest, hovers over its young, spreads its wings to catch them, and carries them on its feathers,11 As an eagle that stirs up her nest, that flutters over her young, he spread abroad his wings, he took them, he bore them on his feathers.11 As the eagle stirreth up its nest, Hovereth over its young, Spreadeth out its wings, Taketh them, beareth them on its feathers,
 "The LORD alone guided him, And there was no foreign god with him.12 So the LORD alone did lead him, and there was no strange god with him.12 so the LORD alone led his people. No foreign god was with him.12 Yahweh alone led him. There was no foreign god with him.12 So Jehovah alone did lead him, And no strange god was with him.
 "He made him ride on the high places of the earth, And he ate the produce of the field; And He made him suck honey from the rock, And oil from the flinty rock,13 He made him ride on the high places of the earth, that he might eat the increase of the fields; and he made him to suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the flinty rock;13 He made them ride on the heights of the earth and fed them with the produce of the fields. He gave them honey from rocks and olive oil from solid rock.13 He made him ride on the high places of the earth. He ate the increase of the field. He caused him to suck honey out of the rock, oil out of the flinty rock;13 He made him ride on the high places of the earth, And he ate the produce of the field; And he made him suck honey out of the crag, And oil out of the flinty rock;
 Curds of cows, and milk of the flock, With fat of lambs, And rams, the breed of Bashan, and goats, With the finest of the wheat-- And of the blood of grapes you drank wine.14 Butter of kine, and milk of sheep, with fat of lambs, and rams of the breed of Bashan, and goats, with the fat of kidneys of wheat; and thou didst drink the pure blood of the grape.14 They ate cheese from cows and drank milk from sheep and goats. He gave them fat from lambs, rams from the stock of Bashan, male goats, and the best wheat. They drank the blood-red wine of grapes.14 Butter of the herd, and milk of the flock, with fat of lambs, rams of the breed of Bashan, and goats, with the finest of the wheat. Of the blood of the grape you drank wine.14 Cream of kine, and milk of sheep, With the fat of lambs, And rams of the breed of Bashan, and he-goats, With the fat of kidneys of wheat; And thou didst drink pure wine, the blood of the grape.
 "But Jeshurun grew fat and kicked-- You are grown fat, thick, and sleek-- Then he forsook God who made him, And scorned the Rock of his salvation.15 But Jeshurun waxed fat, and kicked: thou art waxen fat, thou art grown thick, thou art covered with fatness; then he forsook God which made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation.15 Jeshurun got fat and disrespectful. (You got fat! You were stuffed! You were gorged!) They abandoned the God who made them and treated the rock of their salvation like a fool. 15 But Jeshurun grew fat, and kicked. You have grown fat. You have grown thick. You have become sleek. Then he forsook God who made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation.15 Then Jeshurun grew fat, and kicked Thou art waxen fat, Thou art grown thick, And thou art covered with fatness; He gave up +God who made him, And lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation.

 "They made Him jealous with strange gods; With abominations they provoked Him to anger.16 They provoked him to jealousy with strange gods, with abominations provoked they him to anger.16 They made him furious because they worshiped foreign gods and angered him because they worshiped worthless idols.16 They moved him to jealousy with strange [gods]. They provoked him to anger with abominations.16 They moved him to jealousy with strange gods, With abominations did they provoke him to anger.
 "They sacrificed to demons who were not God, To gods whom they have not known, New gods who came lately, Whom your fathers did not dread.17 They sacrificed unto devils, not to God; to gods whom they knew not, to new gods that came newly up, whom your fathers feared not.17 They sacrificed to demons that are not God, to gods they never heard of. These were new gods, who came from nearby, gods your ancestors never worshiped.17 They sacrificed to demons, [which were] no God, to gods that they didn't know, to new [gods] that came up of late, which your fathers didn't dread.17 They sacrificed unto demons who are not +God; To gods whom they knew not, To new ones, who came newly up, Whom your fathers revered not.
 "You neglected the Rock who begot you, And forgot the God who gave you birth.18 Of the Rock that begat thee thou art unmindful, and hast forgotten God that formed thee.18 (You ignored the rock who fathered you and forgot the God who gave you life.)18 Of the Rock who became your father, you are unmindful, and have forgotten God who gave you birth.18 Of the Rock that begot thee wast thou unmindful, And thou hast forgotten God who brought thee forth.
 "The LORD saw this, and spurned them Because of the provocation of His sons and daughters.19 And when the LORD saw it, he abhorred them, because of the provoking of his sons, and of his daughters.19 The LORD saw this and rejected them, because his own sons and daughters had made him angry.19 Yahweh saw [it], and abhorred [them], because of the provocation of his sons and his daughters.19 And Jehovah saw it, and despised them, Because of the provoking of his sons and of his daughters.
 "Then He said, 'I will hide My face from them, I will see what their end shall be; For they are a perverse generation, Sons in whom is no faithfulness.20 And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: for they are a very froward generation, children in whom is no faith.20 He said, "I will turn away from them and find out what will happen to them. They are devious people, children who can't be trusted.20 He said, "I will hide my face from them. I will see what their end shall be; for they are a very perverse generation, children in whom is no faithfulness.20 And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be; For they are a perverse generation, Children in whom is no faithfulness.

 They have made Me jealous with what is not God; They have provoked Me to anger with their idols. So I will make them jealous with those who are not a people; I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation,21 They have moved me to jealousy with that which is not God; they have provoked me to anger with their vanities: and I will move them to jealousy with those which are not a people; I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation.21 They made him furious because they worshiped foreign gods and angered him because they worshiped worthless idols. So I will use those who are not my people to make them jealous and a nation of godless fools to make them angry.21 They have moved me to jealousy with that which is not God. They have provoked me to anger with their vanities. I will move them to jealousy with those who are not a people. I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation.21 They have moved me to jealousy with that which is no God; They have exasperated me with their vanities; And I will move them to jealousy with that which is not a people; With a foolish nation will I provoke them to anger.
 For a fire is kindled in My anger, And burns to the lowest part of Sheol, And consumes the earth with its yield, And sets on fire the foundations of the mountains.22 For a fire is kindled in mine anger, and shall burn unto the lowest hell, and shall consume the earth with her increase, and set on fire the foundations of the mountains.22 My anger has started a fire that will burn to the depths of hell. It will consume the earth and its crops and set the foundations of the mountains on fire.22 For a fire is kindled in my anger, Burns to the lowest Sheol, Devours the earth with its increase, and sets the foundations of the mountains on fire.22 For a fire is kindled in mine anger, And it shall burn into the lowest Sheol, And shall consume the earth and its produce, And set fire to the foundations of the mountains.
 'I will heap misfortunes on them; I will use My arrows on them.23 I will heap mischiefs upon them; I will spend mine arrows upon them.23 I will bring one disaster after another on them. I will use up all my arrows on them.23 "I will heap evils on them. I will spend my arrows on them.23 I will heap mischiefs upon them; Mine arrows will I spend against them.
 They will be wasted by famine, and consumed by plague And bitter destruction; And the teeth of beasts I will send upon them, With the venom of crawling things of the dust.24 They shall be burnt with hunger, and devoured with burning heat, and with bitter destruction: I will also send the teeth of beasts upon them, with the poison of serpents of the dust.24 They will be starved by famines and ravaged by pestilence and deadly epidemics. I will send vicious animals against them along with poisonous animals that crawl on the ground.24 [They shall be] wasted with hunger, and devoured with burning heat and bitter destruction. I will send the teeth of animals on them, With the poison of crawling things of the dust.24 They shall be consumed with hunger, and devoured with burning heat, And with poisonous pestilence; And the teeth of beasts will I send against them, With the poison of what crawleth in the dust.
 'Outside the sword will bereave, And inside terror-- Both young man and virgin, The nursling with the man of gray hair.25 The sword without, and terror within, shall destroy both the young man and the virgin, the suckling also with the man of gray hairs.25 Foreign wars will kill off their children, and even at home there will be horrors. Young men and young women alike will die as well as nursing babies and gray-haired men.25 Outside the sword shall bereave, and in the rooms, terror; on both young man and virgin, The nursing infant with the gray-haired man.25 From without shall the sword bereave them, and in the chambers, terror Both the young man and the virgin, The suckling with the man of gray hairs.

 'I would have said, "I will cut them to pieces, I will remove the memory of them from men,"26 I said, I would scatter them into corners, I would make the remembrance of them to cease from among men:26 I said that I would cut them in pieces and erase everyone's memory of them. 26 I said, I would scatter them afar. I would make the memory of them to cease from among men;26 I would say, I will scatter, I will make the remembrance of them to cease from among men,
 Had I not feared the provocation by the enemy, That their adversaries would misjudge, That they would say, "Our hand is triumphant, And the LORD has not done all this."'27 Were it not that I feared the wrath of the enemy, lest their adversaries should behave themselves strangely, and lest they should say, Our hand is high, and the LORD hath not done all this.27 But I didn't want their enemies to make me angry. I didn't want their opponents to misunderstand and say, 'We won this victory! It wasn't the LORD who did all this!'"27 were it not that I feared the provocation of the enemy, lest their adversaries should judge wrongly, lest they should say, 'Our hand is exalted, Yahweh has not done all this.'"27 If I did not fear provocation from the enemy, Lest their adversaries should misunderstand it, Lest they should say, Our hand is high, and Jehovah has not done all this.
 "For they are a nation lacking in counsel, And there is no understanding in them.28 For they are a nation void of counsel, neither is there any understanding in them.28 My people have lost their good sense. They are not able to understand.28 For they are a nation void of counsel. There is no understanding in them.28 For they are a nation void of counsel, And understanding is not in them.
 "Would that they were wise, that they understood this, That they would discern their future!29 O that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!29 If only they were wise enough to understand this and realize what will happen to them!29 Oh that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!29 Oh that they had been wise! they would have understood this, They would have considered their latter end!
 "How could one chase a thousand, And two put ten thousand to flight, Unless their Rock had sold them, And the LORD had given them up?30 How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and the LORD had shut them up?30 How could one person chase a thousand or two people make ten thousand flee? Their rock used these people to defeat them and the LORD gave them no help.30 How could one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, unless their Rock had sold them, and Yahweh had delivered them up?30 How could one chase a thousand, And two put ten thousand to flight, Were it not that their Rock had sold them, And Jehovah had delivered them up?

 "Indeed their rock is not like our Rock, Even our enemies themselves judge this.31 For their rock is not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges.31 Their rock isn't like our rock. Even our enemies will agree with this.31 For their rock is not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges.31 For their rock is not as our Rock: Let our enemies themselves be judges.
 "For their vine is from the vine of Sodom, And from the fields of Gomorrah; Their grapes are grapes of poison, Their clusters, bitter.32 For their vine is of the vine of Sodom, and of the fields of Gomorrah: their grapes are grapes of gall, their clusters are bitter:32 Their grapevines come from the vineyards of Sodom and from the fields of Gomorrah. Their grapes are poisonous, and their clusters are bitter.32 For their vine is of the vine of Sodom, of the fields of Gomorrah. Their grapes are grapes of gall, Their clusters are bitter.32 For their vine is of the vine of Sodom, And of the fields of Gomorrah: Their grapes are grapes of poison, Bitter are their clusters;
 "Their wine is the venom of serpents, And the deadly poison of cobras.33 Their wine is the poison of dragons, and the cruel venom of asps.33 Their wine is snake venom, the deadly poison of cobras.33 Their wine is the poison of serpents, The cruel venom of asps.33 Their wine is the poison of dragons, And the cruel venom of vipers.
 'Is it not laid up in store with Me, Sealed up in My treasuries?34 Is not this laid up in store with me, and sealed up among my treasures?34 Isn't this what I've stored under lock and key in my storehouses?34 "Isn't this laid up in store with me, sealed up among my treasures?34 Is not this hidden with me, Sealed up among my treasures?
 'Vengeance is Mine, and retribution, In due time their foot will slip; For the day of their calamity is near, And the impending things are hastening upon them.'35 To me belongeth vengeance and recompence; their foot shall slide in due time: for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste.35 I will take revenge and be satisfied. In due time their foot will slip, because their day of disaster is near. Their doom is coming quickly.35 Vengeance is mine, and recompense, at the time when their foot slides; for the day of their calamity is at hand. The things that are to come on them shall make haste."35 Vengeance is mine, and recompense, For the time when their foot shall slip. For the day of their calamity is at hand, And the things that shall come upon them make haste.

 "For the LORD will vindicate His people, And will have compassion on His servants, When He sees that their strength is gone, And there is none remaining, bond or free.36 For the LORD shall judge his people, and repent himself for his servants, when he seeth that their power is gone, and there is none shut up, or left.36 The LORD will judge his people and have compassion on his servants when he sees that their strength is gone and that no one is left, neither slaves nor free people.36 For Yahweh will judge his people, and have compassion on his servants, when he sees that [their] power is gone, There is none [remaining], shut up or left at large.36 For Jehovah will judge his people, And shall repent in favour of his servants; When he seeth that power is gone, And there is none shut up or left.
 "And He will say, 'Where are their gods, The rock in which they sought refuge?37 And he shall say, Where are their gods, their rock in whom they trusted,37 Then he will ask, "Where are their gods? Where is the rock they took refuge in?37 He will say, "Where are their gods, The rock in which they took refuge;37 And he shall say, Where are their gods, Their rock in whom they trusted,
 Who ate the fat of their sacrifices, And drank the wine of their drink offering? Let them rise up and help you, Let them be your hiding place!38 Which did eat the fat of their sacrifices, and drank the wine of their drink offerings? let them rise up and help you, and be your protection.38 Where are the gods who ate the fat from their sacrifices and drank the wine from their wine offerings? Let them come to help you! Let them be your refuge!"38 Which ate the fat of their sacrifices, And drank the wine of their drink offering? Let them rise up and help you! Let them be your protection.38 Who ate the fat of their sacrifices, And drank the wine of their drink-offering? Let them rise up and help you, That there may be a protection over you.
 'See now that I, I am He, And there is no god besides Me; It is I who put to death and give life. I have wounded and it is I who heal, And there is no one who can deliver from My hand.39 See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.39 See, I am the only God. There are no others. I kill, and I make alive. I wound, and I heal, and no one can rescue you from my power.39 "See now that I, even I, am he, There is no god with me. I kill, and I make alive. I wound, and I heal. There is no one who can deliver out of my hand.39 See now that I, I am HE, And there is no god with me; I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal, And there is none that delivereth out of my hand,
 'Indeed, I lift up My hand to heaven, And say, as I live forever,40 For I lift up my hand to heaven, and say, I live for ever.40 I raise my hand toward heaven and solemnly swear: As surely as I live forever,40 For I lift up my hand to heaven, And say, As I live forever,40 For I lift up my hand to the heavens, and say, I live for ever!

 If I sharpen My flashing sword, And My hand takes hold on justice, I will render vengeance on My adversaries, And I will repay those who hate Me.41 If I whet my glittering sword, and mine hand take hold on judgment; I will render vengeance to mine enemies, and will reward them that hate me.41 I will sharpen my flashing sword and take justice into my own hands. Then I will take revenge on my enemies and pay back those who hate me.41 if I whet my glittering sword, My hand take hold on judgment; I will render vengeance to my adversaries, and will recompense those who hate me.41 If I have sharpened my gleaming sword, And my hand take hold of judgment, I will render vengeance to mine adversaries, And will recompense them that hate me.
 'I will make My arrows drunk with blood, And My sword will devour flesh, With the blood of the slain and the captives, From the long-haired leaders of the enemy.'42 I will make mine arrows drunk with blood, and my sword shall devour flesh; and that with the blood of the slain and of the captives, from the beginning of revenges upon the enemy.42 My arrows will drip with blood from those who were killed and taken captive. My sword will cut off the heads of the enemy who vowed to fight.42 I will make my arrows drunk with blood. My sword shall devour flesh with the blood of the slain and the captives, from the head of the leaders of the enemy."42 Mine arrows will I make drunk with blood, And my sword shall devour flesh; I will make them drunk with the blood of the slain and of the captives, With the head of the princes of the enemy.
 "Rejoice, O nations, with His people; For He will avenge the blood of His servants, And will render vengeance on His adversaries, And will atone for His land and His people."43 Rejoice, O ye nations, with his people: for he will avenge the blood of his servants, and will render vengeance to his adversaries, and will be merciful unto his land, and to his people.43 Joyfully sing with the LORD's people, you nations, because he will take revenge for the death of his servants. He will get even with his enemies and make peace for his people's land.?and[ his people.">]43 Rejoice, you nations, [with] his people, for he will avenge the blood of his servants. 44 Then Moses came and spoke all the words of this song in the hearing of the people, he, with Joshua the son of Nun.44 And Moses came and spake all the words of this song in the ears of the people, he, and Hoshea the son of Nun.44 Moses came with Hoshea, son of Nun, and recited all the words of this song as the people listened. 44 Moses came and spoke all the words of this song in the ears of the people, he and Joshua the son of Nun.44 And Moses came and spoke all the words of this song in the ears of the people, he and Hoshea the son of Nun.

 he said to them, "Take to your heart all the words with which I am warning you today, which you shall command your sons to observe carefully, even all the words of this law.46 And he said unto them, Set your hearts unto all the words which I testify among you this day, which ye shall command your children to observe to do, all the words of this law.46 he said to them, "Pay attention to all these warnings I've given you today. Then you will command your children to faithfully obey every word of these teachings.46 He said to them, "Set your heart to all the words which I testify to you this day, which you shall command your children to observe to do, [even] all the words of this law.46 he said unto them, Set your hearts unto all the words that I testify among you this day, which ye shall command your children to take heed to do, all the words of this law.
 "For it is not an idle word for you; indeed it is your life. And by this word you will prolong your days in the land, which you are about to cross the Jordan to possess."47 For it is not a vain thing for you; because it is your life: and through this thing ye shall prolong your days in the land, whither ye go over Jordan to possess it.47 Don't think these words are idle talk. They are your life! 48 The LORD spoke to Moses that very same day, saying,48 And the LORD spake unto Moses that selfsame day, saying,48 That same day the LORD said to Moses,48 Yahweh spoke to Moses that same day, saying,48 And Jehovah spoke to Moses that same day, saying,
 "Go up to this mountain of the Abarim, Mount Nebo, which is in the land of Moab opposite Jericho, and look at the land of Canaan, which I am giving to the sons of Israel for a possession.49 Get thee up into this mountain Abarim, unto mount Nebo, which is in the land of Moab, that is over against Jericho; and behold the land of Canaan, which I give unto the children of Israel for a possession:49 "Go into the Abarim Mountains, to Mount Nebo in Moab, across from Jericho. Take a look at the land of Canaan that I'm giving the Israelites as their own property.49 "Go up into this mountain of Abarim, to Mount Nebo, which is in the land of Moab, that is over against Jericho; and see the land of Canaan, which I give to the children of Israel for a possession;49 Go up into this mountain Abarim, mount Nebo, which is in the land of Moab, which is opposite Jericho; and behold the land of Canaan, which I give unto the children of Israel for a possession,
 "Then die on the mountain where you ascend, and be gathered to your people, as Aaron your brother died on Mount Hor and was gathered to his people,50 And die in the mount whither thou goest up, and be gathered unto thy people; as Aaron thy brother died in mount Hor, and was gathered unto his people:50 On this mountain where you're going, you will die and join your ancestors in death, as your brother Aaron died on Mount Hor.50 and die on the mountain where you go up, and be gathered to your people, as Aaron your brother died on Mount Hor, and was gathered to his people:50 and die on the mountain whither thou goest up, and be gathered unto thy peoples, as Aaron thy brother died on mount Hor, and was gathered unto his peoples;

 because you broke faith with Me in the midst of the sons of Israel at the waters of Meribah-kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin, because you did not treat Me as holy in the midst of the sons of Israel.51 Because ye trespassed against me among the children of Israel at the waters of MeribahKadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because ye sanctified me not in the midst of the children of Israel.51 This is because both of you were unfaithful to me at the oasis of Meribah at Kadesh in the Desert of Zin. You didn't show the Israelites how holy I am.51 because you trespassed against me in the midst of the children of Israel at the waters of Meribah of Kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because you didn't sanctify me in the midst of the children of Israel.51 because ye trespassed against me among the children of Israel at the waters of Meribah-Kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because ye hallowed me not in the midst of the children of Israel.
 "For you shall see the land at a distance, but you shall not go there, into the land which I am giving the sons of Israel."52 Yet thou shalt see the land before thee; but thou shalt not go thither unto the land which I give the children of Israel.52 You may see the land from a distance, but you may not enter the land I'm giving the Israelites."52 For you shall see the land before you; but you shall not go there into the land which I give the children of Israel."52 For thou shalt see the land before thee; but thou shalt not go thither unto the land which I give the children of Israel.
