1 Moreover, the word of the LORD came to me saying,1 The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,1 The LORD spoke his word to me. He said,1 The word of Yahweh came again to me, saying,1 And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying:
2 "And you, son of man, take up a lamentation over Tyre;2 Now, thou son of man, take up a lamentation for Tyrus;2 "Son of man, sing a funeral song about Tyre.2 You, son of man, take up a lamentation over Tyre;2 And thou, son of man, take up a lamentation for Tyre,
3 and say to Tyre, who dwells at the entrance to the sea, merchant of the peoples to many coastlands, 'Thus says the Lord GOD, "O Tyre, you have said, 'I am perfect in beauty.'3 And say unto Tyrus, O thou that art situate at the entry of the sea, which art a merchant of the people for many isles, Thus saith the Lord GOD; O Tyrus, thou hast said, I am of perfect beauty.3 Tyre is the city at the entrance to the sea. It is the merchant to the nations. Say to Tyre, 'This is what the Almighty LORD says: Tyre, you used to brag about your perfect beauty.3 and tell Tyre, you who dwell at the entry of the sea, who are the merchant of the peoples to many islands, thus says the Lord Yahweh: You, Tyre, have said, I am perfect in beauty.3 and say unto Tyre: O thou that art situate at the entries of the sea, and traffickest with the peoples in many isles, thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Thou, Tyre, hast said, I am perfect in beauty.

They took cedar trees from Lebanon to make a mast for you.5 They have made all your planks of fir trees from Senir; they have taken a cedar from Lebanon to make a mast for you.5 They made all thy double boards of cypress-trees of Senir; they took cedars from Lebanon to make masts for thee.
