The Inner Temple
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
Then he brought me to the nave and measured the side pillars; six cubits wide on each side was the width of the side pillar.1 Afterward he brought me to the temple, and measured the posts, six cubits broad on the one side, and six cubits broad on the other side, which was the breadth of the tabernacle.1 Then the man brought me into the holy place in the temple and measured the recessed walls. They were 101/2 feet wide on each side.1 He brought me to the temple, and measured the posts, six cubits broad on the one side, and six cubits broad on the other side, which was the breadth of the tent.1 And he brought me to the temple; and he measured the posts, six cubits broad on the one side, and six cubits broad on the other side, the breadth of the tent.
The width of the entrance was ten cubits and the sides of the entrance were five cubits on each side. And he measured the length of the nave, forty cubits, and the width, twenty cubits.2 And the breadth of the door was ten cubits; and the sides of the door were five cubits on the one side, and five cubits on the other side: and he measured the length thereof, forty cubits: and the breadth, twenty cubits.2 The entrance was 171/2 feet wide, and on each side of the entrance the walls were 9 feet wide. Then he measured the length of the holy place. It was 70 feet long and 35 feet wide.2 The breadth of the entrance was ten cubits; and the sides of the entrance were five cubits on the one side, and five cubits on the other side: and he measured its length, forty cubits, and the breadth, twenty cubits.2 And the breadth of the entry was ten cubits, and the sides of the entry were five cubits on this side, and five cubits on that side; and he measured its length, forty cubits, and the breadth, twenty cubits.
Then he went inside and measured each side pillar of the doorway, two cubits, and the doorway, six cubits high; and the width of the doorway, seven cubits.3 Then went he inward, and measured the post of the door, two cubits; and the door, six cubits; and the breadth of the door, seven cubits.3 Then the man went inside and measured the passageway. It was 31/2 feet thick. The entrance was 101/2 feet high and 12 feet wide.3 Then went he inward, and measured each post of the entrance, two cubits; and the entrance, six cubits; and the breadth of the entrance, seven cubits.3 And he went inwards, and measured the post of the entry, two cubits; and the entry, six cubits; and the breadth of the entry, seven cubits.
He measured its length, twenty cubits, and the width, twenty cubits, before the nave; and he said to me, "This is the most holy place."4 So he measured the length thereof, twenty cubits; and the breadth, twenty cubits, before the temple: and he said unto me, This is the most holy place.4 Then he measured the room at the end of the holy place. It was 35 feet long and 35 feet wide. The man said to me, "This is the most holy place."4 He measured its length, twenty cubits, and the breadth, twenty cubits, before the temple: and he said to me, This is the most holy place.4 And he measured its length, twenty cubits; and the breadth, twenty cubits, before the temple: and he said unto me, This is the most holy place.
Then he measured the wall of the temple, six cubits; and the width of the side chambers, four cubits, all around about the house on every side.5 After he measured the wall of the house, six cubits; and the breadth of every side chamber, four cubits, round about the house on every side.5 Next, the man measured the temple wall. It was 101/2 feet wide. The width of each side room around the temple was 7 feet.5 Then he measured the wall of the house, six cubits; and the breadth of every side room, four cubits, all around the house on every side.5 And he measured the wall of the house, six cubits; and the breadth of the side-chambers, four cubits, round about the house on every side.
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
The side chambers were in three stories, one above another, and thirty in each story; and the side chambers extended to the wall which stood on their inward side all around, that they might be fastened, and not be fastened into the wall of the temple itself.6 And the side chambers were three, one over another, and thirty in order; and they entered into the wall which was of the house for the side chambers round about, that they might have hold, but they had not hold in the wall of the house.6 The rooms were arranged on three different stories. There were 30 rooms on each story. These rooms had supports all the way around the temple wall, but these supports were not fastened to the temple wall.6 The side rooms were in three stories, one over another, and thirty in order; and they entered into the wall which belonged to the house for the side rooms all around, that they might have hold [therein], and not have hold in the wall of the house.6 And the side-chambers were three, chamber over chamber, and thirty in order; and they entered into the wall which the house had for the side-chambers round about, that they might have hold; but they had not hold in the wall of the house.
The side chambers surrounding the temple were wider at each successive story. Because the structure surrounding the temple went upward by stages on all sides of the temple, therefore the width of the temple increased as it went higher; and thus one went up from the lowest story to the highest by way of the second story.7 And there was an enlarging, and a winding about still upward to the side chambers: for the winding about of the house went still upward round about the house: therefore the breadth of the house was still upward, and so increased from the lowest chamber to the highest by the midst.7 The side rooms grew wider all the way around as they went up, story after story. The surrounding structure went from story to story all around the temple. The structure grew wider as it went higher. A stairway went from the first story through the second story to the third story.7 The side rooms were broader as they encompassed [the house] higher and higher; for the encompassing of the house went higher and higher around the house: therefore the breadth of the house [continued] upward; and so one went up [from] the lowest [room] to the highest by the middle [room].7 And for the side-chambers there was an enlarging, and it went round about the house increasing upward; for the surrounding of the house increased upward round about the house; therefore the house had width upward, and so ascended from the lower story to the upper, by the middle one.
I saw also that the house had a raised platform all around; the foundations of the side chambers were a full rod of six long cubits in height.8 I saw also the height of the house round about: the foundations of the side chambers were a full reed of six great cubits.8 I also saw a raised base all around the temple. This base was the foundation for the side rooms. It measured the full length of the measuring rod, 101/2 feet.8 I saw also that the house had a raised base all around: the foundations of the side rooms were a full reed of six great cubits.8 And I saw that the house had an elevation round about: the foundations of the side-chambers, a full reed, six cubits to the joint.
The thickness of the outer wall of the side chambers was five cubits. But the free space between the side chambers belonging to the temple9 The thickness of the wall, which was for the side chamber without, was five cubits: and that which was left was the place of the side chambers that were within.9 The outer wall of the side rooms was 9 feet thick. There was an open area between the side rooms connected to the temple9 The thickness of the wall, which was for the side rooms, on the outside, was five cubits: and that which was left was the place of the side rooms that belonged to the house.9 The thickness of the wall, which was for the side-chambers without, was five cubits, as also what was left free along the building of the side-chambers that pertained to the house.
and the outer chambers was twenty cubits in width all around the temple on every side.10 And between the chambers was the wideness of twenty cubits round about the house on every side.10 and the priests' rooms. It was 35 feet wide and went all around the temple.10 Between the rooms was a breadth of twenty cubits around the house on every side.10 And between the cells and the house was a width of twenty cubits round about the house on every side.
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
The doorways of the side chambers toward the free space consisted of one doorway toward the north and another doorway toward the south; and the width of the free space was five cubits all around.11 And the doors of the side chambers were toward the place that was left, one door toward the north, and another door toward the south: and the breadth of the place that was left was five cubits round about.11 The doors in the side rooms were entrances into the open area. There was one door to the north and another to the south. The base of the open area was 9 feet wide all the way around.11 The doors of the side rooms were toward [the place] that was left, one door toward the north, and another door toward the south: and the breadth of the place that was left was five cubits all around.11 And the entry of the side-chambers was toward what was left free, one entry toward the north, and one entry toward the south; and the width of the space left free was five cubits round about.
The building that was in front of the separate area at the side toward the west was seventy cubits wide; and the wall of the building was five cubits thick all around, and its length was ninety cubits.12 Now the building that was before the separate place at the end toward the west was seventy cubits broad; and the wall of the building was five cubits thick round about, and the length thereof ninety cubits.12 At the far end of the open area, on the west side of the temple, was a building 1221/2 feet wide. The wall of the building was 9 feet thick all the way around, and it was 1571/2 feet long.12 The building that was before the separate place at the side toward the west was seventy cubits broad; and the wall of the building was five cubits thick all around, and its length ninety cubits.12 And the building that was before the separate place at the end toward the west was seventy cubits broad; and the wall of the building was five cubits thick round about; and its length ninety cubits.
 Then he measured the temple, a hundred cubits long; the separate area with the building and its walls were also a hundred cubits long.13 So he measured the house, an hundred cubits long; and the separate place, and the building, with the walls thereof, an hundred cubits long;13 Then the man measured the temple. It was 175 feet long. This included the open area with the building and its walls. All together it was 175 feet long.13 So he measured the house, one hundred cubits long; and the separate place, and the building, with its walls, one hundred cubits long;13 And he measured the house: the length a hundred cubits; and the separate place, and the building, and its walls, the length a hundred cubits;
Also the width of the front of the temple and that of the separate areas along the east side totaled a hundred cubits.14 Also the breadth of the face of the house, and of the separate place toward the east, an hundred cubits.14 The eastern side of the temple, including the open area, was also 175 feet wide.14 also the breadth of the face of the house, and of the separate place toward the east, one hundred cubits.14 and the breadth of the front of the house, and of the separate places toward the east, a hundred cubits.
He measured the length of the building along the front of the separate area behind it, with a gallery on each side, a hundred cubits; he also measured the inner nave and the porches of the court.15 And he measured the length of the building over against the separate place which was behind it, and the galleries thereof on the one side and on the other side, an hundred cubits, with the inner temple, and the porches of the court;15 He also measured the length of the building facing the courtyard on the west side along with its corridors on both sides. It was 175 feet long. The holy place and the most holy place were paneled.15 He measured the length of the building before the separate place which was at its back, and its galleries on the one side and on the other side, one hundred cubits; and the inner temple, and the porches of the court;15 And he measured the length of the building before the separate place, which was at the back of it, with its galleries on the one side and on the other side, a hundred cubits; and the inner temple, and the porches of the court.

The thresholds, the latticed windows and the galleries round about their three stories, opposite the threshold, were paneled with wood all around, and from the ground to the windows (but the windows were covered),16 The door posts, and the narrow windows, and the galleries round about on their three stories, over against the door, cieled with wood round about, and from the ground up to the windows, and the windows were covered;16 The doorposts, the small windows, and the corridors of all three stories were paneled. The walls, from the floor up to the windows, were paneled.16 the thresholds, and the closed windows, and the galleries around on their three stories, over against the threshold, with wood ceilings all around, and [from] the ground up to the windows, (now the windows were covered),16 The thresholds, and the closed windows, and the galleries round about the three of them (opposite the thresholds it was wainscoted with wood round about, and from the ground up to the windows, and the windows were covered),
over the entrance, and to the inner house, and on the outside, and on all the wall all around inside and outside, by measurement.17 To that above the door, even unto the inner house, and without, and by all the wall round about within and without, by measure.17 In the space above the door to the most holy place and on the walls all around it,17 to [the space] above the door, even to the inner house, and outside, and by all the wall all around inside and outside, by measure.17 and above, over the entry, even unto the inner house, and without, and by all the wall round about, within and without, all was by measure.
It was carved with cherubim and palm trees; and a palm tree was between cherub and cherub, and every cherub had two faces,18 And it was made with cherubims and palm trees, so that a palm tree was between a cherub and a cherub; and every cherub had two faces;18 there were pictures of angels and palm trees. Palm trees were positioned between each of the angels, and each angel had two faces: 18 It was made with cherubim and palm trees; and a palm tree was between cherub and cherub, and every cherub had two faces;18 And it was made with cherubim and palm-trees, and a palm-tree was between cherub and cherub; and the cherub had two faces:
a man's face toward the palm tree on one side and a young lion's face toward the palm tree on the other side; they were carved on all the house all around.19 So that the face of a man was toward the palm tree on the one side, and the face of a young lion toward the palm tree on the other side: it was made through all the house round about.19 the face of a man, which was turned toward a palm tree on one side, and the face of a lion, which was turned toward a palm tree on the other side. These pictures were carved all around the temple.19 so that there was the face of a man toward the palm tree on the one side, and the face of a young lion toward the palm tree on the other side. [thus was it] made through all the house all around:19 the face of a man was toward the palm-tree on the one side, and the face of a young lion toward the palm-tree on the other side: so was it made upon all the house round about.
From the ground to above the entrance cherubim and palm trees were carved, as well as on the wall of the nave.20 From the ground unto above the door were cherubims and palm trees made, and on the wall of the temple.20 Pictures of angels and palm trees were carved on the walls from the floor to the space above the door.20 from the ground to above the door were cherubim and palm trees made: thus was the wall of the temple.20 From the ground unto above the entry were the cherubim and the palm-trees made, and on the wall of the temple.
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
The doorposts of the nave were square; as for the front of the sanctuary, the appearance of one doorpost was like that of the other.21 The posts of the temple were squared, and the face of the sanctuary; the appearance of the one as the appearance of the other.21 The doorframes in the holy place were square. In front of the most holy place was something similar.21 As for the temple, the door posts were squared; and as for the face of the sanctuary, the appearance [of it] was as the appearance [of the temple].21 As for the temple, the door-posts were squared; and the front of the sanctuary had the same appearance.
The altar was of wood, three cubits high and its length two cubits; its corners, its base and its sides were of wood. And he said to me, "This is the table that is before the LORD."22 The altar of wood was three cubits high, and the length thereof two cubits; and the corners thereof, and the length thereof, and the walls thereof, were of wood: and he said unto me, This is the table that is before the LORD.22 There was a wooden altar, 5 feet high and 31/2 feet wide. Its corners, its base, and its sides were made of wood. Then the man told me, "This is the table that is in the presence of the LORD."22 The altar was of wood, three cubits high, and its length two cubits; and its corners, and its length, and its walls, were of wood: and he said to me, This is the table that is before Yahweh.22 The altar was of wood, three cubits high, and its length two cubits; and its corners, and its length, and its walls were of wood. And he said unto me, This is the table which is before Jehovah.
The nave and the sanctuary each had a double door.23 And the temple and the sanctuary had two doors.23 The holy place and the most holy place had two doors.23 The temple and the sanctuary had two doors.23 And the temple and the sanctuary had two doors.
Each of the doors had two leaves, two swinging leaves; two leaves for one door and two leaves for the other.24 And the doors had two leaves apiece, two turning leaves; two leaves for the one door, and two leaves for the other door.24 Each of the doors were double doors that swung open.24 The doors had two leaves [apiece], two turning leaves: two [leaves] for the one door, and two leaves for the other.24 And the doors had two leaves, two turning-leaves: two for the one door, and two leaves for the other.
Also there were carved on them, on the doors of the nave, cherubim and palm trees like those carved on the walls; and there was a threshold of wood on the front of the porch outside.25 And there were made on them, on the doors of the temple, cherubims and palm trees, like as were made upon the walls; and there were thick planks upon the face of the porch without.25 Pictures of angels and palm trees were carved on the doors of the holy place as on the walls. There was a wooden roof hanging over the outer entrance hall.25 There were made on them, on the doors of the temple, cherubim and palm trees, like as were made on the walls; and there was a threshold of wood on the face of the porch outside.25 And there were made on them, on the doors of the temple, cherubim and palm-trees, as there were made upon the walls; and there was a wooden portal in front of the porch without,

There were latticed windows and palm trees on one side and on the other, on the sides of the porch; thus were the side chambers of the house and the thresholds.26 And there were narrow windows and palm trees on the one side and on the other side, on the sides of the porch, and upon the side chambers of the house, and thick planks.26 There were small windows and palm trees on both sides of the entrance hall, on the side rooms of the temple, and on the roofs.26 There were closed windows and palm trees on the one side and on the other side, on the sides of the porch: thus were the side rooms of the house, and the thresholds.26 and closed windows and palm-trees on the one side and on the other side, on the sides of the porch and the side chambers of the house and the portals.
