| 1 Now the man had relations with his wife Eve, and she conceived and gave birth to Cain, and she said, "I have gotten a manchild with the help of the LORD." | 1 And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD. | 1 Adam made love to his wife Eve. She became pregnant and gave birth to Cain. She said, "I have gotten the man that the LORD promised." | 1 The man knew Eve his wife. She conceived, and gave birth to Cain, and said, "I have gotten a man with Yahweh's help." | 1 And Man knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bore Cain, and said, I have acquired a man with Jehovah. | 2 Again, she gave birth to his brother Abel. | 6 Then the LORD said to Cain, "Why are you angry? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door; and its desire is for you, but you must master it." | 7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him. | 7 If you do well, won't you be accepted? But if you don't do well, sin is lying outside your door ready to attack. The voice of your brother's blood is crying to Me from the ground. | 10 And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground. | 10 The LORD asked, "What have you done? Your brother's blood is crying out to me from the ground. | 10 Yahweh said, "What have you done? I have to hide from you and become a fugitive, a wanderer on the earth. Now anyone who finds me will kill me!" | 14 Behold, you have driven me out this day from the surface of the ground.
