| 1 Listen to the word of the LORD, O sons of Israel, For the LORD has a case against the inhabitants of the land, Because there is no faithfulness or kindness Or knowledge of God in the land. | 1 Hear the word of the LORD, ye children of Israel: for the LORD hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land. | 1 Listen to the word of the LORD, you Israelites. The LORD has brought these charges against those who live in the land: "There is no faith, no love, and no knowledge of God in the land. | 1 Hear the word of Yahweh, you children of Israel; for Yahweh has a charge against the inhabitants of the land: "Indeed there is no truth, nor goodness, nor knowledge of God in the land. | 1 Hear the word of Jehovah, ye children of Israel; for Jehovah hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land; for there is no truth, nor goodness, nor knowledge of God in the land. | 2 There is swearing, deception, murder, stealing and adultery. They employ violence, so that bloodshed follows bloodshed. | 2 By swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and committing adultery, they break out, and blood toucheth blood. | 2 There is cursing, lying, murdering, stealing, and adultery. | 6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being My priest. | 16 Since Israel is stubborn Like a stubborn heifer, Can the LORD now pasture them Like a lamb in a large field? | 16 For Israel slideth back as a backsliding heifer: now the LORD will feed them as a lamb in a large place. | 16 "The people of Israel are as stubborn as a bull.
