The Glorious Future
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
 Behold, a king will reign righteously And princes will rule justly.1 Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment.1 A king will rule with fairness, and officials will rule with justice.1 Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in justice.1 Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment.
 Each will be like a refuge from the wind And a shelter from the storm, Like streams of water in a dry country, Like the shade of a huge rock in a parched land.2 And a man shall be as an hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest; as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land.2 Then each ruler will be like a shelter from the wind and a hiding place from the rain. They will be like streams on parched ground and the shade of a large rock in a weary land.2 A man shall be as a hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the storm, as streams of water in a dry place, as the shade of a large rock in a weary land.2 And a man shall be as a hiding-place from the wind, and a covert from the storm; as brooks of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a thirsty land.
 Then the eyes of those who see will not be blinded, And the ears of those who hear will listen.3 And the eyes of them that see shall not be dim, and the ears of them that hear shall hearken.3 Then the vision of those who can see won't be blurred, and the ears of those who can hear will pay attention.3 The eyes of those who see will not be dim, and the ears of those who hear will listen.3 And the eyes of them that see shall not be dim, and the ears of them that hear shall hearken;
 The mind of the hasty will discern the truth, And the tongue of the stammerers will hasten to speak clearly.4 The heart also of the rash shall understand knowledge, and the tongue of the stammerers shall be ready to speak plainly.4 Then those who are reckless will begin to understand, and those who stutter will speak quickly and clearly.4 The heart of the rash will understand knowledge, and the tongue of the stammerers will be ready to speak plainly.4 and the heart of the rash shall understand knowledge, and the tongue of the stammerers shall be ready to speak plainly.
 No longer will the fool be called noble, Or the rogue be spoken of as generous.5 The vile person shall be no more called liberal, nor the churl said to be bountiful.5 Godless fools will no longer be called nobles, nor will scoundrels be considered gentlemen.5 The fool will no longer be called noble, nor the scoundrel be highly respected.5 The vile man shall be no more called noble, nor the churl said to be bountiful:
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
 For a fool speaks nonsense, And his heart inclines toward wickedness: To practice ungodliness and to speak error against the LORD, To keep the hungry person unsatisfied And to withhold drink from the thirsty.6 For the vile person will speak villany, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise hypocrisy, and to utter error against the LORD, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and he will cause the drink of the thirsty to fail.6 Godless fools speak foolishness, and their minds plan evil in order to do ungodly things. They speak falsely about the LORD. They let people go hungry and withhold water from thirsty people.6 For the fool will speak folly, and his heart will work iniquity, to practice profanity, and to utter error against Yahweh, To make empty the soul of the hungry, and to cause the drink of the thirsty to fail.6 for the vile man will speak villainy, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise hypocrisy, and to utter error against Jehovah, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and to cause the drink of the thirsty to fail.
 As for a rogue, his weapons are evil; He devises wicked schemes To destroy the afflicted with slander, Even though the needy one speaks what is right.7 The instruments also of the churl are evil: he deviseth wicked devices to destroy the poor with lying words, even when the needy speaketh right.7 The tricks of scoundrels are evil. They devise wicked plans in order to ruin poor people with lies, even when needy people plead for justice.7 The ways of the scoundrel are evil. He devises wicked devices to destroy the humble with lying words, even when the needy speaks right.7 The instruments also of the churl are evil: he deviseth wicked devices to destroy the meek with lying words, even when the needy speaketh right.
 But the noble man devises noble plans; And by noble plans he stands.8 But the liberal deviseth liberal things; and by liberal things shall he stand.8 But honorable people act honorably and stand firm for what is honorable.8 But the noble devises noble things; and he will continue in noble things.8 But the noble deviseth noble things; and to noble things doth he stand.
 Rise up, you women who are at ease, And hear my voice; Give ear to my word, You complacent daughters.9 Rise up, ye women that are at ease; hear my voice, ye careless daughters; give ear unto my speech.9 Get up, and listen to me, you pampered women. Hear what I say, you overconfident daughters.9 Rise up, you women who are at ease! Hear my voice! You careless daughters, give ear to my speech!9 Rise up, ye women that are at ease, hear my voice; ye careless daughters, give ear unto my speech.
 Within a year and a few days You will be troubled, O complacent daughters; For the vintage is ended, And the fruit gathering will not come.10 Many days and years shall ye be troubled, ye careless women: for the vintage shall fail, the gathering shall not come.10 In a little less than a year you overconfident women will tremble, because the grape harvest will fail and no fruit will be brought in [from the fields].10 For days beyond a year you will be troubled, you careless women; for the vintage shall fail. The harvest won't come.10 In a year and some days shall ye be troubled, ye careless women; for the vintage shall fail, the ingathering shall not come.
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
 Tremble, you women who are at ease; Be troubled, you complacent daughters; Strip, undress and put sackcloth on your waist,11 Tremble, ye women that are at ease; be troubled, ye careless ones: strip you, and make you bare, and gird sackcloth upon your loins.11 Shudder, you pampered women. Tremble, you overconfident women. Take off your clothes, walk around naked, and wear sackcloth around your waists.11 Tremble, you women who are at ease! Be troubled, you careless ones! Strip yourselves, make yourselves naked, and put sackcloth on your waist.11 Tremble, ye women that are at ease; be troubled, ye careless ones; strip you, and make you bare, and gird sackcloth on your loins!
 Beat your breasts for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vine,12 They shall lament for the teats, for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vine.12 Beat your breasts as you mourn for the fields, for the vines bearing grapes.12 Beat your breasts for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vine.12 They shall smite on the breasts in lamentation for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vineyards.
 For the land of my people in which thorns and briars shall come up; Yea, for all the joyful houses and for the jubilant city.13 Upon the land of my people shall come up thorns and briers; yea, upon all the houses of joy in the joyous city:13 Mourn for my people's land where thorns and briars will grow. Mourn for all the happy homes in a joyful city.13 Thorns and briars will come up on my people's land; yes, on all the houses of joy in the joyous city.13 Upon the land of my people shall come up thistles and briars, yea, upon all the houses of joy in the joyous city.
 Because the palace has been abandoned, the populated city forsaken. Hill and watch-tower have become caves forever, A delight for wild donkeys, a pasture for flocks;14 Because the palaces shall be forsaken; the multitude of the city shall be left; the forts and towers shall be for dens for ever, a joy of wild asses, a pasture of flocks;14 Palaces will be deserted. Noisy cities will be abandoned. Fortresses and watchtowers will become permanent caves. They will be a delight for wild donkeys and pastures for flocks14 For the palace will be forsaken. The populous city will be deserted. The hill and the watchtower will be for dens forever, a delight for wild donkeys, a pasture of flocks;14 For the palace shall be deserted, the multitude of the city shall be forsaken; hill and watchtower shall be caves for ever, a joy of wild asses, a pasture of flocks;
 Until the Spirit is poured out upon us from on high, And the wilderness becomes a fertile field, And the fertile field is considered as a forest.15 Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest.15 until the Spirit is poured on us from on high. Then the wilderness will be turned into a fertile field, and the fertile field will be considered a forest.15 Until the Spirit is poured on us from on high, and the wilderness becomes a fruitful field, and the fruitful field is considered a forest.15 until the Spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness become a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest.
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
 Then justice will dwell in the wilderness And righteousness will abide in the fertile field.16 Then judgment shall dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness remain in the fruitful field.16 Then justice will live in the wilderness, and righteousness will be at home in the fertile field.16 Then justice will dwell in the wilderness; and righteousness will remain in the fruitful field.16 And judgment shall inhabit the wilderness, and righteousness dwell in the fruitful field.
 And the work of righteousness will be peace, And the service of righteousness, quietness and confidence forever.17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.17 Then an act of righteousness will bring about peace, calm, and safety forever.17 The work of righteousness will be peace; and the effect of righteousness, quietness and confidence forever.17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance for ever.
 Then my people will live in a peaceful habitation, And in secure dwellings and in undisturbed resting places;18 And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places;18 My people will live in a peaceful place, in safe homes and quiet places of rest.18 My people will live in a peaceful habitation, in safe dwellings, and in quiet resting places.18 And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting-places.
 And it will hail when the forest comes down, And the city will be utterly laid low.19 When it shall hail, coming down on the forest; and the city shall be low in a low place.19 The forest will be flattened because of hail, and the city will be completely leveled.19 Though hail flattens the forest, and the city is leveled completely.19 And it shall hail, coming down on the forest; and the city shall be low in a low place.
 How blessed will you be, you who sow beside all waters, Who let out freely the ox and the donkey.20 Blessed are ye that sow beside all waters, that send forth thither the feet of the ox and the ass.20 Blessed are those who plant beside every stream and those who let oxen and donkeys roam freely.20 Blessed are you who sow beside all waters, who send out the feet of the ox and the donkey.20 Blessed are ye that sow beside all waters, that send forth the feet of the ox and the ass.
