God’s Promise concerning His Servant
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
"Behold, My Servant, whom I uphold; My chosen one in whom My soul delights. I have put My Spirit upon Him; He will bring forth justice to the nations.1 Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.1 Here is my servant, whom I support. Here is my chosen one, with whom I am pleased. I have put my Spirit on him. He will bring justice to the nations.1 "Behold, my servant, whom I uphold; my chosen, in whom my soul delights-- I have put my Spirit on him. He will bring justice to the nations.1 Behold my servant whom I uphold, mine elect in whom my soul delighteth! I will put my Spirit upon him; he shall bring forth judgment to the nations.
"He will not cry out or raise His voice, Nor make His voice heard in the street.2 He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street.2 He will not cry out or raise [his voice]. He will not make his voice heard in the streets.2 He will not shout, nor raise his voice, nor cause it to be heard in the street.2 He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street.
"A bruised reed He will not break And a dimly burning wick He will not extinguish; He will faithfully bring forth justice.3 A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth.3 He will not break off a damaged cattail. He will not even put out a smoking wick. He will faithfully bring about justice.3 He won't break a bruised reed. He won't quench a dimly burning wick. He will faithfully bring justice.3 A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment according to truth.
"He will not be disheartened or crushed Until He has established justice in the earth; And the coastlands will wait expectantly for His law."4 He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law.4 He will not be discouraged or crushed until he has set up justice on the earth. The coastlands will wait for his teachings.4 He will not fail nor be discouraged, until he has set justice in the earth, and the islands will wait for his law."4 He shall not faint nor be in haste, till he have set justice in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law.
Thus says God the LORD, Who created the heavens and stretched them out, Who spread out the earth and its offspring, Who gives breath to the people on it And spirit to those who walk in it,5 Thus saith God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein:5 The LORD God created the heavens and stretched them out. He shaped the earth and all that comes from it. He gave life to the people who are on it and breath to those who walk on it. This is what the LORD God says:5 Thus says God Yahweh, he who created the heavens and stretched them out, he who spread out the earth and that which comes out of it, he who gives breath to its people and spirit to those who walk in it.5 Thus saith God, Jehovah, he that created the heavens and stretched them out, he that spread forth the earth and its productions, he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein:

"I am the LORD, I have called you in righteousness, I will also hold you by the hand and watch over you, And I will appoint you as a covenant to the people, As a light to the nations,6 I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;6 I, the LORD, have called you to do what is right. I will take hold of your hand. I will protect you. I will appoint you as my promise to the people, as my light to the nations. 6 "I, Yahweh, have called you in righteousness, and will hold your hand, and will keep you, and make you a covenant for the people, as a light for the nations;6 I, Jehovah, have called thee in righteousness, and will take hold of thy hand; and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the nations,
To open blind eyes, To bring out prisoners from the dungeon And those who dwell in darkness from the prison.7 To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.7 You will give sight to the blind, bring prisoners out of prisons, and bring those who live in darkness out of dungeons.7 to open the blind eyes, to bring the prisoners out of the dungeon, and those who sit in darkness out of the prison.7 to open the blind eyes, to bring forth the prisoner from the prison, them that sit in darkness out of the house of restraint.
"I am the LORD, that is My name; I will not give My glory to another, Nor My praise to graven images.8 I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.8 I am the LORD; that is my name. I will not give my glory to anyone else or the praise I deserve to idols.8 "I am Yahweh. That is my name. I will not give my glory to another, nor my praise to engraved images.8 I am Jehovah, that is my name; and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.
"Behold, the former things have come to pass, Now I declare new things; Before they spring forth I proclaim them to you."9 Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.9 What I said in the past has come true. I will reveal new things before they happen.9 Behold, the former things have happened, and I declare new things. I tell you about them before they come up."9 Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth will I cause you to hear them.
Sing to the LORD a new song, Sing His praise from the end of the earth! You who go down to the sea, and all that is in it. You islands, and those who dwell on them.10 Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth, ye that go down to the sea, and all that is therein; the isles, and the inhabitants thereof.10 Sing a new song to the LORD. Sing his praise from the ends of the earth, you people who sail on the seas and all the creatures that live in them, you coastlands and all who live on them.10 Sing to Yahweh a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth, you who go down to the sea, and all that is therein, the islands and their inhabitants.10 Sing unto Jehovah a new song, his praise from the end of the earth, ye that go down to the sea, and all that is therein, the isles and their inhabitants.

Let the wilderness and its cities lift up their voices, The settlements where Kedar inhabits. Let the inhabitants of Sela sing aloud, Let them shout for joy from the tops of the mountains.11 Let the wilderness and the cities thereof lift up their voice, the villages that Kedar doth inhabit: let the inhabitants of the rock sing, let them shout from the top of the mountains.11 Let those who live in the desert and its cities raise their voices. Let those who live in the settlements of Kedar praise him. Let those who live in Sela sing for joy. Let them shout from the tops of the mountains.11 Let the wilderness and its cities raise their voices, with the villages that Kedar inhabits. Let the inhabitants of Sela sing. Let them shout from the top of the mountains!11 Let the wilderness and the cities thereof lift up their voice, the villages that Kedar doth inhabit; let the inhabitants of the rock sing, let them shout from the top of the mountains:
Let them give glory to the LORD And declare His praise in the coastlands.12 Let them give glory unto the LORD, and declare his praise in the islands.12 Let them give glory to the LORD and announce his praise on the coastlands.12 Let them give glory to Yahweh, and declare his praise in the islands.12 let them give glory unto Jehovah, and declare his praise in the islands.
The LORD will go forth like a warrior, He will arouse His zeal like a man of war. He will utter a shout, yes, He will raise a war cry. He will prevail against His enemies.13 The LORD shall go forth as a mighty man, he shall stir up jealousy like a man of war: he shall cry, yea, roar; he shall prevail against his enemies.13 The LORD marches out like a warrior. He prepares himself for battle like a soldier. He shouts, gives the battle cry, and overpowers his enemies.13 Yahweh will go out like a mighty man. He will stir up zeal like a man of war. He will raise a war cry. Yes, he will shout aloud. He will triumph over his enemies.13 Jehovah will go forth as a mighty man, he will stir up jealousy like a man of war: he will cry, yea, he will shout; he will shew himself mighty against his enemies.
The Blindness of the People
"I have kept silent for a long time, I have kept still and restrained Myself. Now like a woman in labor I will groan, I will both gasp and pant.14 I have long time holden my peace; I have been still, and refrained myself: now will I cry like a travailing woman; I will destroy and devour at once.14 I have been silent for a long time. I kept quiet and held myself back. But like a woman in childbirth I will cry out. I will gasp and pant.14 "I have been silent a long time. I have been quiet and restrained myself. Now I will cry out like a travailing woman. I will both gasp and pant.14 Long time have I holden my peace; I have been still, I have restrained myself: I will cry like a woman that travaileth; I will blow and pant at once.
"I will lay waste the mountains and hills And wither all their vegetation; I will make the rivers into coastlands And dry up the ponds.15 I will make waste mountains and hills, and dry up all their herbs; and I will make the rivers islands, and I will dry up the pools.15 I will lay waste to mountains and hills. I will dry up all their vegetation. I will turn rivers into islands. I will dry up ponds.15 I will destroy mountains and hills, and dry up all their herbs. I will make the rivers islands, and will dry up the pools.15 I will lay waste mountains and hills, and dry up all their herbs; and I will make the rivers islands, and I will dry up the pools.

"I will lead the blind by a way they do not know, In paths they do not know I will guide them. I will make darkness into light before them And rugged places into plains. These are the things I will do, And I will not leave them undone."16 And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them.16 I will lead the blind on unfamiliar roads. I will lead them on unfamiliar paths. I will turn darkness into light in front of them. I will make rough places smooth. These are the things I will do for them, and I will never abandon them.16 I will bring the blind by a way that they don't know. I will lead them in paths that they don't know. I will make darkness light before them, and crooked places straight. I will do these things, and I will not forsake them.16 And I will bring the blind by a way that they know not, in paths that they know not will I lead them; I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them.
They will be turned back and be utterly put to shame, Who trust in idols, Who say to molten images, "You are our gods."17 They shall be turned back, they shall be greatly ashamed, that trust in graven images, that say to the molten images, Ye are our gods.17 Then those who trust idols and those who say to statues, "You are our gods" will be turned away and put to shame.17 "Those who trust in engraved images, who tell molten images, 'You are our gods' will be turned back. They will be utterly disappointed.17 They shall be turned back, they shall be covered with shame, that confide in graven images, that say to the molten images, Ye are our gods.
Hear, you deaf! And look, you blind, that you may see.18 Hear, ye deaf; and look, ye blind, that ye may see.18 Listen, you deaf people. Look, you blind people, so that you can see.18 "Hear, you deaf, and look, you blind, that you may see.18 Hear, ye deaf; and look, ye blind, that ye may see.
Who is blind but My servant, Or so deaf as My messenger whom I send? Who is so blind as he that is at peace with Me, Or so blind as the servant of the LORD?19 Who is blind, but my servant? or deaf, as my messenger that I sent? who is blind as he that is perfect, and blind as the LORD's servant?19 Who is blind except my servant or deaf like the messenger I send? Who is blind like the one who has my trust or blind like the servant of the LORD?19 Who is blind, but my servant? Or who is as deaf as my messenger whom I send? Who is as blind as he who is at peace, and as blind as Yahweh's servant?19 Who is blind, but my servant? and deaf, as my messenger whom I sent? Who is blind as he in whom I have trusted, and blind as Jehovah's servant,
You have seen many things, but you do not observe them; Your ears are open, but none hears.20 Seeing many things, but thou observest not; opening the ears, but he heareth not.20 You have seen much, but you do not observe anything. Your ears are open, but you hear nothing.20 You see many things, but don't observe. His ears are open, but he doesn't listen.20 seeing many things, And thou observest not? with opened ears, he heareth not.
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
The LORD was pleased for His righteousness' sake To make the law great and glorious.21 The LORD is well pleased for his righteousness' sake; he will magnify the law, and make it honourable.21 The LORD is pleased because he does what is right. He praises the greatness of his teachings and makes them glorious.21 It pleased Yahweh, for his righteousness' sake, to magnify the law, and make it honorable.21 Jehovah had delight in him for his righteousness' sake: he hath magnified the law, and made it honourable.
But this is a people plundered and despoiled; All of them are trapped in caves, Or are hidden away in prisons; They have become a prey with none to deliver them, And a spoil, with none to say, "Give them back!"22 But this is a people robbed and spoiled; they are all of them snared in holes, and they are hid in prison houses: they are for a prey, and none delivereth; for a spoil, and none saith, Restore.22 But these people are robbed and looted. They are all trapped in pits and hidden in prisons. They have become prey with no one to rescue them. They have become loot with no one to say, "Give it back."22 But this is a robbed and plundered people. All of them are snared in holes, and they are hidden in prisons. They have become a prey, and no one delivers; and a spoil, and no one says, 'Restore them!'22 But this is a people robbed and spoiled; they are all of them snared in holes, and hidden in prison-houses; they are become a prey, and none delivereth, a spoil, and none saith, Restore.
Who among you will give ear to this? Who will give heed and listen hereafter?23 Who among you will give ear to this? who will hearken and hear for the time to come?23 Who among you will listen to this? Is there anyone who will pay attention and listen in the future?23 Who is there among you who will give ear to this? Who will listen and hear for the time to come?23 Who among you will give ear to this, who will hearken and hear what is to come?
Who gave Jacob up for spoil, and Israel to plunderers? Was it not the LORD, against whom we have sinned, And in whose ways they were not willing to walk, And whose law they did not obey?24 Who gave Jacob for a spoil, and Israel to the robbers? did not the LORD, he against whom we have sinned? for they would not walk in his ways, neither were they obedient unto his law.24 Who gave Jacob away as loot and handed Israel over to robbers? Wasn't it the LORD, against whom we have sinned? They didn't want to live his way. They didn't obey his teachings.24 Who gave Jacob as plunder, and Israel to the robbers? Didn't Yahweh, he against whom we have sinned? For they would not walk in his ways, and they disobeyed his law.24 Who gave Jacob for a spoil, and Israel to the robbers? Did not Jehovah, he against whom we have sinned? And they would not walk in his ways, neither did they hearken unto his law.
So He poured out on him the heat of His anger And the fierceness of battle; And it set him aflame all around, Yet he did not recognize it; And it burned him, but he paid no attention.25 Therefore he hath poured upon him the fury of his anger, and the strength of battle: and it hath set him on fire round about, yet he knew not; and it burned him, yet he laid it not to heart.25 So he poured out his burning anger and the horrors of war on them. It engulfed them in flames, but they did not understand. It burned them, but they did not take it to heart.25 Therefore he poured the fierceness of his anger on him, and the strength of battle; and it set him on fire all around, but he didn't know; and it burned him, but he didn't take it to heart."25 And he hath poured upon him the fury of his anger, and the strength of battle: and it set him on fire round about, yet he knew not; and it burned him, yet he took it not to heart.
