The Priest’s Part in the Offerings
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
'Now this is the law of the guilt offering; it is most holy.1 Likewise this is the law of the trespass offering: it is most holy.1 [The LORD continued,] "These are the instructions for the guilt offering. It is very holy.1 "'This is the law of the trespass offering. It is most holy.1 And this is the law of the trespass-offering it is most holy:
'In the place where they slay the burnt offering they are to slay the guilt offering, and he shall sprinkle its blood around on the altar.2 In the place where they kill the burnt offering shall they kill the trespass offering: and the blood thereof shall he sprinkle round about upon the altar.2 It must be slaughtered in the same place where the burnt offering is slaughtered. [A priest] will throw the blood against the altar on all sides.2 In the place where they kill the burnt offering, he shall kill the trespass offering; and its blood he shall sprinkle around on the altar.2 in the place where they slaughter the burnt-offering shall they slaughter the trespass-offering; and the blood thereof shall he sprinkle on the altar round about.
'Then he shall offer from it all its fat: the fat tail and the fat that covers the entrails,3 And he shall offer of it all the fat thereof; the rump, and the fat that covereth the inwards,3 He will offer all the fat, the fat from the tail, the fat covering the internal organs,3 He shall offer all of its fat: the fat tail, and the fat that covers the innards,3 And he shall present of it all the fat thereof; the fat tail and the fat that covereth the inwards,
and the two kidneys with the fat that is on them, which is on the loins, and the lobe on the liver he shall remove with the kidneys.4 And the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the flanks, and the caul that is above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away:4 and the two kidneys with the fat on them. He will also remove the lobe of the liver along with the kidneys.4 and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the loins, and the cover on the liver, with the kidneys, shall he take away;4 and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the flanks, and the net above the liver, which he shall take away as far as the kidneys.
'The priest shall offer them up in smoke on the altar as an offering by fire to the LORD; it is a guilt offering.5 And the priest shall burn them upon the altar for an offering made by fire unto the LORD: it is a trespass offering.5 The priest will burn them on the altar. It is a guilt offering by fire to the LORD.5 and the priest shall burn them on the altar for an offering made by fire to Yahweh: it is a trespass offering.5 And the priest shall burn them on the altar, an offering by fire to Jehovah: it is a trespass-offering.
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
'Every male among the priests may eat of it. It shall be eaten in a holy place; it is most holy.6 Every male among the priests shall eat thereof: it shall be eaten in the holy place: it is most holy.6 Any male among the priests may eat it. It will be eaten in a holy place. It is very holy.6 Every male among the priests may eat of it. It shall be eaten in a holy place. It is most holy.6 Every male among the priests shall eat thereof; in a holy place shall it be eaten: it is most holy.
'The guilt offering is like the sin offering, there is one law for them; the priest who makes atonement with it shall have it.7 As the sin offering is, so is the trespass offering: there is one law for them: the priest that maketh atonement therewith shall have it.7 "The same instructions apply to the offering for sin and the guilt offering. Both offerings belong to the priest to make peace with the LORD.7 "'As is the sin offering, so is the trespass offering; there is one law for them. The priest who makes atonement with them shall have it.7 As the sin-offering, so is the trespass-offering; there shall be one law for them: it shall be the priest's who maketh atonement therewith.
'Also the priest who presents any man's burnt offering, that priest shall have for himself the skin of the burnt offering which he has presented.8 And the priest that offereth any man's burnt offering, even the priest shall have to himself the skin of the burnt offering which he hath offered.8 The skin of the burnt offering belongs to the priest who sacrifices it.8 The priest who offers any man's burnt offering, even the priest shall have for himself the skin of the burnt offering which he has offered.8 And as to the priest that presenteth any man's burnt-offering, the skin of the burnt-offering which he hath presented shall be the priest's for himself.
'Likewise, every grain offering that is baked in the oven and everything prepared in a pan or on a griddle shall belong to the priest who presents it.9 And all the meat offering that is baked in the oven, and all that is dressed in the frying pan, and in the pan, shall be the priest's that offereth it.9 Every grain offering, whether baked in an oven or prepared in a skillet or a frying pan, belongs to the priest who offers it.9 Every meal offering that is baked in the oven, and all that is dressed in the pan, and on the griddle, shall be the priest's who offers it.9 And every oblation that is baken in the oven, and all that is prepared in the cauldron and in the pan, shall be the priest's who offereth it; to him it shall belong.
'Every grain offering, mixed with oil or dry, shall belong to all the sons of Aaron, to all alike.10 And every meat offering, mingled with oil, and dry, shall all the sons of Aaron have, one as much as another.10 Every grain offering, whether mixed with olive oil or dry, will be shared equally by all of Aaron's sons.10 Every meal offering, mixed with oil or dry, belongs to all the sons of Aaron, one as well as another.10 And every oblation, mingled with oil, and dry, shall all the sons of Aaron have, one as the other.
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
'Now this is the law of the sacrifice of peace offerings which shall be presented to the LORD.11 And this is the law of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which he shall offer unto the LORD.11 "These are the instructions for the fellowship offering that you must bring to the LORD.11 "'This is the law of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which one shall offer to Yahweh.11 And this is the law of the sacrifice of peace-offering, which a man shall present to Jehovah.
If he offers it by way of thanksgiving, then along with the sacrifice of thanksgiving he shall offer unleavened cakes mixed with oil, and unleavened wafers spread with oil, and cakes of well stirred fine flour mixed with oil.12 If he offer it for a thanksgiving, then he shall offer with the sacrifice of thanksgiving unleavened cakes mingled with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil, and cakes mingled with oil, of fine flour, fried.12 If you offer it as a thank offering, you must also bring rings of unleavened bread mixed with olive oil, wafers of unleavened bread brushed with olive oil, and loaves made from flour mixed well with olive oil.12 If he offers it for a thanksgiving, then he shall offer with the sacrifice of thanksgiving unleavened cakes mixed with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil, and cakes mixed with oil.12 If he present it for a thanksgiving, then he shall present with the sacrifice of thanksgiving unleavened cakes mingled with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil, and fine flour saturated with oil, cakes mingled with oil.
'With the sacrifice of his peace offerings for thanksgiving, he shall present his offering with cakes of leavened bread.13 Besides the cakes, he shall offer for his offering leavened bread with the sacrifice of thanksgiving of his peace offerings.13 In addition to these rings of bread, you must bring bread with yeast along with your fellowship offering of thanksgiving.13 With cakes of leavened bread he shall offer his offering with the sacrifice of his peace offerings for thanksgiving.13 Besides the cakes, he shall present his offering of leavened bread with the sacrifice of his peace-offering of thanksgiving.
'Of this he shall present one of every offering as a contribution to the LORD; it shall belong to the priest who sprinkles the blood of the peace offerings.14 And of it he shall offer one out of the whole oblation for an heave offering unto the LORD, and it shall be the priest's that sprinkleth the blood of the peace offerings.14 From every offering you must bring one loaf to the LORD as a [special] contribution. It will belong to the priest who throws the blood of the fellowship offering.14 Of it he shall offer one out of each offering for a heave offering to Yahweh. It shall be the priest's who sprinkles the blood of the peace offerings.14 And of it he shall present one out of the whole offering as a heave-offering to Jehovah; to the priest that sprinkleth the blood of the peace-offering, to him it shall belong.
Now as for the flesh of the sacrifice of his thanksgiving peace offerings, it shall be eaten on the day of his offering; he shall not leave any of it over until morning.15 And the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offerings for thanksgiving shall be eaten the same day that it is offered; he shall not leave any of it until the morning.15 "The meat from your fellowship offering of thanksgiving must be eaten on the day it is offered. Never leave any of it until morning.15 The flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offerings for thanksgiving shall be eaten on the day of his offering. He shall not leave any of it until the morning.15 And the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace-offering of thanksgiving shall be eaten the same day that it is presented; he shall not let any of it remain until the morning.
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
 'But if the sacrifice of his offering is a votive or a freewill offering, it shall be eaten on the day that he offers his sacrifice, and on the next day what is left of it may be eaten;16 But if the sacrifice of his offering be a vow, or a voluntary offering, it shall be eaten the same day that he offereth his sacrifice: and on the morrow also the remainder of it shall be eaten:16 "If your sacrificial offering is something you vowed or a freewill offering, it must be eaten the day you offer it or the next day.16 "'But if the sacrifice of his offering is a vow, or a freewill offering, it shall be eaten on the day that he offers his sacrifice; and on the next day what remains of it shall be eaten:16 And if the sacrifice of his offering be a vow, or voluntary, it shall be eaten the same day that he presented his sacrifice; on the morrow also the remainder of it shall be eaten;
but what is left over from the flesh of the sacrifice on the third day shall be burned with fire.17 But the remainder of the flesh of the sacrifice on the third day shall be burnt with fire.17 However, on the third day any meat left over from the sacrifice must be burned.17 but what remains of the flesh of the sacrifice on the third day shall be burned with fire.17 and the remainder of the flesh of the sacrifice on the third day shall be burned with fire.
So if any of the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offerings should ever be eaten on the third day, he who offers it will not be accepted, and it will not be reckoned to his benefit. It shall be an offensive thing, and the person who eats of it will bear his own iniquity.18 And if any of the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offerings be eaten at all on the third day, it shall not be accepted, neither shall it be imputed unto him that offereth it: it shall be an abomination, and the soul that eateth of it shall bear his iniquity.18 You will not be accepted if any meat from the fellowship offering is eaten on the third day. You will not receive credit for it. It is repulsive to God. The person who eats any of it must be punished.18 If any of the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offerings is eaten on the third day, it will not be accepted, neither shall it be imputed to him who offers it. It will be an abomination, and the soul who eats any of it will bear his iniquity.18 And if any of the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace-offering be eaten at all on the third day, it shall not be accepted, it shall not be reckoned to him that hath presented it; it shall be an unclean thing, and the soul that eateth of it shall bear his iniquity.
Also the flesh that touches anything unclean shall not be eaten; it shall be burned with fire. As for other flesh, anyone who is clean may eat such flesh.19 And the flesh that toucheth any unclean thing shall not be eaten; it shall be burnt with fire: and as for the flesh, all that be clean shall eat thereof.19 "Meat that touches anything unclean must not be eaten. It must be burned. Anyone who is clean may eat from these sacrifices.19 "'The flesh that touches any unclean thing shall not be eaten. It shall be burned with fire. As for the flesh, everyone who is clean may eat it;19 And the flesh that toucheth anything unclean shall not be eaten; it shall be burned with fire. And as to the flesh, all that are clean may eat the flesh.
'But the person who eats the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings which belong to the LORD, in his uncleanness, that person shall be cut off from his people.20 But the soul that eateth of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings, that pertain unto the LORD, having his uncleanness upon him, even that soul shall be cut off from his people.20 Those who eat meat from the LORD's fellowship offering while unclean must be excluded from the people.20 but the soul who eats of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings, that belongs to Yahweh, having his uncleanness on him, that soul shall be cut off from his people.20 But the soul that eateth the flesh of the sacrifice of peace-offering which is for Jehovah, having his uncleanness upon him, that soul shall be cut off from his peoples.
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
'When anyone touches anything unclean, whether human uncleanness, or an unclean animal, or any unclean detestable thing, and eats of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings which belong to the LORD, that person shall be cut off from his people.'"21 Moreover the soul that shall touch any unclean thing, as the uncleanness of man, or any unclean beast, or any abominable unclean thing, and eat of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which pertain unto the LORD, even that soul shall be cut off from his people.21 Those who touch anything unclean, human or animal, or any other disgusting uncleanness and still eat the LORD's fellowship offering must be excluded from the people."21 When anyone touches any unclean thing, the uncleanness of man, or an unclean animal, or any unclean abomination, and eats some of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which belong to Yahweh, that soul shall be cut off from his people.'"21 And if any one touch anything unclean, the uncleanness of man, or unclean beast, or any unclean abomination, and eat of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace-offering, which is for Jehovah, that soul shall be cut off from his peoples.
Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,22 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,22 The LORD spoke to Moses,22 Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,22 And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
"Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, 'You shall not eat any fat from an ox, a sheep or a goat.23 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, Ye shall eat no manner of fat, of ox, or of sheep, or of goat.23 "Tell the Israelites: Never eat any fat from bulls, sheep, or goats.23 "Speak to the children of Israel, saying, 'You shall eat no fat, of bull, or sheep, or goat.23 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, No fat, of ox, or of sheep, or of goat shall ye eat.
Also the fat of an animal which dies and the fat of an animal torn by beasts may be put to any other use, but you must certainly not eat it.24 And the fat of the beast that dieth of itself, and the fat of that which is torn with beasts, may be used in any other use: but ye shall in no wise eat of it.24 The fat from an animal that dies naturally or is killed by wild animals you may use for any other purpose, but you must never eat it.24 The fat of that which dies of itself, and the fat of that which is torn of animals, may be used for any other service, but you shall in no way eat of it.24 But the fat of a dead carcase, and the fat of that which is torn, may be used in any other use; but ye shall in no wise eat it.
'For whoever eats the fat of the animal from which an offering by fire is offered to the LORD, even the person who eats shall be cut off from his people.25 For whosoever eateth the fat of the beast, of which men offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD, even the soul that eateth it shall be cut off from his people.25 Those who eat the fat from an animal which they sacrificed by fire to the LORD must be excluded from the people.25 For whoever eats the fat of the animal, of which men offer an offering made by fire to Yahweh, even the soul who eats it shall be cut off from his people.25 For whoever eateth the fat of the beast of which men present an offering by fire to Jehovah, the soul that hath eaten shall be cut off from his peoples.
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
'You are not to eat any blood, either of bird or animal, in any of your dwellings.26 Moreover ye shall eat no manner of blood, whether it be of fowl or of beast, in any of your dwellings.26 "Never eat the blood of any bird or animal no matter where you live.26 You shall not eat any blood, whether it is of bird or of animal, in any of your dwellings.26 And no blood shall ye eat in any of your dwellings, whether it be of fowl or of cattle.
'Any person who eats any blood, even that person shall be cut off from his people.'"27 Whatsoever soul it be that eateth any manner of blood, even that soul shall be cut off from his people.27 Those who eat any blood must be excluded from the people."27 Whoever it is who eats any blood, that soul shall be cut off from his people.'"27 Whatever soul it be that eateth any manner of blood, that soul shall be cut off from his peoples.
Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,28 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,28 The LORD spoke to Moses,28 Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,28 And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
"Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, 'He who offers the sacrifice of his peace offerings to the LORD shall bring his offering to the LORD from the sacrifice of his peace offerings.29 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, He that offereth the sacrifice of his peace offerings unto the LORD shall bring his oblation unto the LORD of the sacrifice of his peace offerings.29 "Tell the Israelites: Anyone who offers the LORD a fellowship offering must bring a part of that sacrifice as a gift to the LORD.29 "Speak to the children of Israel, saying, 'He who offers the sacrifice of his peace offerings to Yahweh shall bring his offering to Yahweh out of the sacrifice of his peace offerings.29 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, He that presenteth the sacrifice of his peace-offering to Jehovah shall bring his offering to Jehovah of the sacrifice of his peace-offering.
'His own hands are to bring offerings by fire to the LORD. He shall bring the fat with the breast, that the breast may be presented as a wave offering before the LORD.30 His own hands shall bring the offerings of the LORD made by fire, the fat with the breast, it shall he bring, that the breast may be waved for a wave offering before the LORD.30 Bring the sacrifices by fire made to the LORD yourself. Bring the fat with the breast. Take the breast and present it to the LORD.30 With his own hands he shall bring the offerings of Yahweh made by fire. He shall bring the fat with the breast, that the breast may be waved for a wave offering before Yahweh.30 His own hands shall bring Jehovah's offerings by fire, the fat with the breast shall he bring: the breast, that it may be waved as a wave-offering before Jehovah.
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
'The priest shall offer up the fat in smoke on the altar, but the breast shall belong to Aaron and his sons.31 And the priest shall burn the fat upon the altar: but the breast shall be Aaron's and his sons'.31 "The priest will burn the fat on the altar. However, the breast will belong to Aaron and his sons.31 The priest shall burn the fat on the altar, but the breast shall be Aaron's and his sons'.31 And the priest shall burn the fat on the altar; and the breast shall be Aaron's and his sons'.
'You shall give the right thigh to the priest as a contribution from the sacrifices of your peace offerings.32 And the right shoulder shall ye give unto the priest for an heave offering of the sacrifices of your peace offerings.32 You will also give the priest the right thigh as a contribution.32 The right thigh you shall give to the priest for a heave offering out of the sacrifices of your peace offerings.32 And the right shoulder of the sacrifices of your peace-offerings shall ye give as a heave-offering unto the priest.
The one among the sons of Aaron who offers the blood of the peace offerings and the fat, the right thigh shall be his as his portion.33 He among the sons of Aaron, that offereth the blood of the peace offerings, and the fat, shall have the right shoulder for his part.33 When any of Aaron's sons offer the blood and fat of the fellowship offering, the right thigh will belong to him as his share.33 He among the sons of Aaron who offers the blood of the peace offerings, and the fat, shall have the right thigh for a portion.33 He of the sons of Aaron that presenteth the blood of the peace-offerings, and the fat, shall have the right shoulder for his part.
For I have taken the breast of the wave offering and the thigh of the contribution from the sons of Israel from the sacrifices of their peace offerings, and have given them to Aaron the priest and to his sons as their due forever from the sons of Israel.34 For the wave breast and the heave shoulder have I taken of the children of Israel from off the sacrifices of their peace offerings, and have given them unto Aaron the priest and unto his sons by a statute for ever from among the children of Israel.34 From the fellowship offerings of the Israelites, I have taken the breast that was presented [to me] and the thigh from the contribution offering. I have given them to the priest Aaron and his sons. This is a permanent law for generations to come.34 For the waved breast and the heaved thigh I have taken from the children of Israel out of the sacrifices of their peace offerings, and have given them to Aaron the priest and to his sons as their portion forever from the children of Israel.'"34 For the breast of the wave-offering, and the shoulder of the heave-offering, have I taken of the children of Israel from the sacrifices of their peace-offerings, and have given them unto Aaron the priest and unto his sons from the children of Israel by an everlasting statute.
'This is that which is consecrated to Aaron and that which is consecrated to his sons from the offerings by fire to the LORD, in that day when he presented them to serve as priests to the LORD.35 This is the portion of the anointing of Aaron, and of the anointing of his sons, out of the offerings of the LORD made by fire, in the day when he presented them to minister unto the LORD in the priest's office;35 "This is the share for Aaron and his sons from the sacrifices by fire made to the LORD. It was given to them on the day Moses ordained them to serve the LORD as priests.35 This is the anointing portion of Aaron, and the anointing portion of his sons, out of the offerings of Yahweh made by fire, in the day when he presented them to minister to Yahweh in the priest's office;35 This is the portion of the anointing of Aaron and of the anointing of his sons, from Jehovah's offerings by fire, in the day when he presented them to serve Jehovah as priests,
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
These the LORD had commanded to be given them from the sons of Israel in the day that He anointed them. It is their due forever throughout their generations.'"36 Which the LORD commanded to be given them of the children of Israel, in the day that he anointed them, by a statute for ever throughout their generations.36 The LORD commanded the Israelites to give it to them on the day he anointed them. This is a permanent law for generations to come."36 which Yahweh commanded to be given them of the children of Israel, in the day that he anointed them. It is their portion forever throughout their generations.36 which Jehovah commanded to be given them by the children of Israel in the day that he anointed them: it is an everlasting statute, throughout their generations.
This is the law of the burnt offering, the grain offering and the sin offering and the guilt offering and the ordination offering and the sacrifice of peace offerings,37 This is the law of the burnt offering, of the meat offering, and of the sin offering, and of the trespass offering, and of the consecrations, and of the sacrifice of the peace offerings;37 These are the instructions for the burnt offering, the grain offering, the offering for sin, the guilt offering, the ordination offering, and the fellowship offering.37 This is the law of the burnt offering, of the meal offering, and of the sin offering, and of the trespass offering, and of the consecration, and of the sacrifice of peace offerings;37 This is the law of the burnt-offering, of the oblation, and of the sin-offering, and of the trespass-offering, and of the consecration-offering, and of the sacrifice of peace-offering,
which the LORD commanded Moses at Mount Sinai in the day that He commanded the sons of Israel to present their offerings to the LORD in the wilderness of Sinai.38 Which the LORD commanded Moses in mount Sinai, in the day that he commanded the children of Israel to offer their oblations unto the LORD, in the wilderness of Sinai.38 On Mount Sinai the LORD gave Moses commands about these offerings at the same time that he commanded the Israelites to bring their offerings to him in the Sinai Desert.38 which Yahweh commanded Moses in Mount Sinai, in the day that he commanded the children of Israel to offer their offerings to Yahweh, in the wilderness of Sinai.38 which Jehovah commanded Moses in mount Sinai, in the day that he commanded the children of Israel to present their offerings to Jehovah, in the wilderness of Sinai.
