2 "Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, 'When you enter the land where you are to live, which I am giving you,2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land of your habitations, which I give unto you,2 "Speak to the Israelites and tell them: Once you're settled in the land I'm giving you,2 "Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, 'When you have come into the land of your habitations, which I give to you,2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land of your dwellings, which I give unto you,
3 then make an offering by fire to the LORD, a burnt offering or a sacrifice to fulfill a special vow, or as a freewill offering or in your appointed times, to make a soothing aroma to the LORD, from the herd or from the flock.3 And will make an offering by fire unto the LORD, a burnt offering, or a sacrifice in performing a vow, or in a freewill offering, or in your solemn feasts, to make a sweet savor unto the LORD, of the herd or of the flock:3 you may bring offerings by fire to the LORD. They may be burnt offerings or any other kind of sacrifice. They may be offered to fulfill a vow, as a freewill offering, or as one of your festival offerings. They may be cattle, sheep, or goats-offerings that are a soothing aroma to the LORD.3 and will make an offering by fire to Yahweh, a burnt offering, or a sacrifice, to accomplish a vow, or as a freewill offering, or in your set feasts, to make a pleasant aroma to Yahweh, of the herd, or of the flock;3 and will make an offering by fire to Jehovah, a burnt-offering or a sacrifice for the performance of a vow, or as a voluntary offering, or in your set feasts, to make a sweet odour to Jehovah, of the herd or of the flock,
4 The one who presents his offering shall present to the LORD a grain offering of one-tenth of an ephah of fine flour mixed with one-fourth of a hin of oil,4 Then shall he that offereth his offering unto the LORD bring a meat offering of a tenth deal of flour mingled with the fourth part of an hin of oil.4 Whoever brings the offering must also give the LORD a grain offering of eight cups of flour mixed with one quart of olive oil.4 then he who offers his offering shall offer to Yahweh a meal offering of a tenth part [of an ephah] of fine flour mixed with the fourth part of a hin of oil:4 then shall he that presenteth his offering to Jehovah bring as oblation a tenth part of fine flour mingled with a fourth part of a hin of oil;
5 and you shall prepare wine for the drink offering, one-fourth of a hin, with the burnt offering or for the sacrifice, for each lamb.5 And the fourth part of an hin of wine for a drink offering shalt thou prepare with the burnt offering or sacrifice, for one lamb.5 With each sheep or goat for the burnt offering or any other sacrifice, also give an offering of one quart of wine.5 and wine for the drink offering, the fourth part of a hin, you shall prepare with the burnt offering, or for the sacrifice, for each lamb.5 and of wine for a drink-offering shalt thou offer the fourth part of a hin with the burnt-offering, or with the sacrifice, for one lamb.

8 'When you prepare a bull as a burnt offering or a sacrifice, to fulfill a special vow, or for peace offerings to the LORD,8 And when thou preparest a bullock for a burnt offering, or for a sacrifice in performing a vow, or peace offerings unto the LORD:8 "Suppose you sacrifice a young bull as a burnt offering to the LORD or make any other kind of sacrifice-to keep a vow or as a fellowship offering.8 When you prepare a bull for a burnt offering, or for a sacrifice, to accomplish a vow, or for peace offerings to Yahweh;8 And when thou offerest a bullock for a burnt-offering, or a sacrifice for the performance of a vow, or for a peace-offering to Jehovah,
9 then you shall offer with the bull a grain offering of three-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with one-half a hin of oil;9 Then shall he bring with a bullock a meat offering of three tenth deals of flour mingled with half an hin of oil.9 Offer with the young bull a grain offering of 24 cups of flour mixed with two quarts of olive oil.9 then shall he offer with the bull a meal offering of three tenth parts [of an ephah] of fine flour mixed with half a hin of oil:9 then shall they present with the bullock as oblation three tenth parts of fine flour mingled with half a hin of oil;

11 'Thus it shall be done for each ox, or for each ram, or for each of the male lambs, or of the goats.11 Thus shall it be done for one bullock, or for one ram, or for a lamb, or a kid.11 Do this for each bull, each ram, and each sheep or goat.11 Thus shall it be done for each bull, or for each ram, or for each of the male lambs, or of the young goats.11 Thus shall it be done for one ox, or for one ram, or for a lamb, or for a kid;
12 'According to the number that you prepare, so you shall do for everyone according to their number.12 According to the number that ye shall prepare, so shall ye do to every one according to their number.12 Do it for each animal, however many you sacrifice.12 According to the number that you shall prepare, so you shall do to everyone according to their number.12 according to the number that ye offer, so shall ye do to every one according to their number.
13 'All who are native shall do these things in this manner, in presenting an offering by fire, as a soothing aroma to the LORD.13 All that are born of the country shall do these things after this manner, in offering an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor unto the LORD.13 All native-born Israelites must do it this way when they bring an offering by fire, a soothing aroma to the LORD.13 "'All who are native-born shall do these things in this way, in offering an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Yahweh.13 And all that are born in the land shall do these things thus, in presenting an offering by fire of a sweet odour to Jehovah.
Law of the Sojourner
14 If an alien sojourns with you, or one who may be among you throughout your generations, and he wishes to make an offering by fire, as a soothing aroma to the LORD, just as you do so he shall do.14 And if a stranger sojourn with you, or whosoever be among you in your generations, and will offer an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor unto the LORD; as ye do, so he shall do.14 "Suppose foreigners are visiting you or living among you in future generations. If they bring an offering by fire, a soothing aroma to the LORD, they must do as you do.14 If a stranger lives as a foreigner with you, or whoever may be among you throughout your generations, and will offer an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Yahweh; as you do, so he shall do.14 And if a stranger sojourn with you, or whoever be among you throughout your generations, and will offer an offering by fire of a sweet odour to Jehovah, as ye do, so shall he do.
15 As for the assembly, there shall be one statute for you and for the alien who sojourns with you, a perpetual statute throughout your generations; as you are, so shall the alien be before the LORD.15 One ordinance shall be both for you of the congregation, and also for the stranger that sojourneth with you, an ordinance for ever in your generations: as ye are, so shall the stranger be before the LORD.15 There is one law for the whole assembly: for you and foreigners who are living with you. It is a permanent law for future generations. As far as the LORD is concerned, you and foreigners are the same.15 For the assembly, there shall be one statute for you, and for the stranger who lives as a foreigner [with you], a statute forever throughout your generations: as you are, so shall the foreigner be before Yahweh.15 As to the congregation, there shall be one statute for you, and for the stranger that sojourneth with you, an everlasting statute throughout your generations: as ye are, so shall the stranger be, before Jehovah.

16 'There is to be one law and one ordinance for you and for the alien who sojourns with you.'"16 One law and one manner shall be for you, and for the stranger that sojourneth with you.16 The instructions and rules are the same for you as well as foreigners who are living with you."16 One law and one ordinance shall be for you, and for the stranger who lives as a foreigner with you.'"16 One law and one ordinance shall be for you, and for the stranger that sojourneth with you.

19 then it shall be, that when you eat of the food of the land, you shall lift up an offering to the LORD.19 Then it shall be, that, when ye eat of the bread of the land, ye shall offer up an heave offering unto the LORD.19 and eat any of the food from the land, give some of it as a contribution to the LORD.19 then it shall be that when you eat of the bread of the land, you shall offer up a wave offering to Yahweh.19 then it shall be, when ye eat of the bread of the land, that ye shall offer a heave-offering to Jehovah;
20 'Of the first of your dough you shall lift up a cake as an offering; as the offering of the threshing floor, so you shall lift it up.20 Ye shall offer up a cake of the first of your dough for an heave offering: as ye do the heave offering of the threshingfloor, so shall ye heave it.20 Shape one part of your dough into a ring the same way you do with the contribution you make from the threshing floor. 20 Of the first of your dough you shall offer up a cake for a wave offering: as the wave offering of the threshing floor, so you shall heave it.20 the first of your dough shall ye offer, a cake, for a heave-offering; as the heave-offering of the threshing-floor, so shall ye offer this.

21 'From the first of your dough you shall give to the LORD an offering throughout your generations.21 Of the first of your dough ye shall give unto the LORD an heave offering in your generations.21 For generations to come, you must give one part of your dough as a contribution to the LORD.21 Of the first of your dough you shall give to Yahweh a wave offering throughout your generations.21 Of the first of your dough ye shall give to Jehovah a heave-offering throughout your generations.
22 'But when you unwittingly fail and do not observe all these commandments, which the LORD has spoken to Moses,22 And if ye have erred, and not observed all these commandments, which the LORD hath spoken unto Moses,22 "Suppose you unintentionally do something wrong by not obeying all these commands the LORD gave Moses.22 "'When you shall err, and not observe all these commandments, which Yahweh has spoken to Moses,22 And if ye sin inadvertently, and do not all these commandments, which Jehovah hath spoken unto Moses,
23 even all that the LORD has commanded you through Moses, from the day when the LORD gave commandment and onward throughout your generations,23 Even all that the LORD hath commanded you by the hand of Moses, from the day that the LORD commanded Moses, and henceforward among your generations;23 (Everything the LORD commanded you through Moses holds as true for generations to come as it did the day the LORD gave the commands.)23 even all that Yahweh has commanded you by Moses, from the day that Yahweh gave commandment, and onward throughout your generations;23 all that Jehovah hath commanded you through Moses, from the day that Jehovah gave commandment, and henceforward throughout your generations;
24 then it shall be, if it is done unintentionally, without the knowledge of the congregation, that all the congregation shall offer one bull for a burnt offering, as a soothing aroma to the LORD, with its grain offering and its drink offering, according to the ordinance, and one male goat for a sin offering.24 Then it shall be, if ought be committed by ignorance without the knowledge of the congregation, that all the congregation shall offer one young bullock for a burnt offering, for a sweet savor unto the LORD, with his meat offering, and his drink offering, according to the manner, and one kid of the goats for a sin offering.24 If it was unintentional and no one else knows about it, the whole community must sacrifice a young bull as a burnt offering, a soothing aroma to the LORD, along with the proper grain and wine offerings, and a male goat as an offering for sin.24 then it shall be, if it be done unwittingly, without the knowledge of the congregation, that all the congregation shall offer one young bull for a burnt offering, for a pleasant aroma to Yahweh, with the meal offering of it, and the drink offering of it, according to the ordinance, and one male goat for a sin offering.24 then it shall be, if ought be committed by inadvertence hid from the eyes of the assembly, that the whole assembly shall offer one young bullock for a burnt-offering, for a sweet odour to Jehovah, and its oblation and its drink-offering according to the ordinance, and one buck of the goats for a sin-offering.
25 'Then the priest shall make atonement for all the congregation of the sons of Israel, and they will be forgiven; for it was an error, and they have brought their offering, an offering by fire to the LORD, and their sin offering before the LORD, for their error.25 And the priest shall make an atonement for all the congregation of the children of Israel, and it shall be forgiven them; for it is ignorance: and they shall bring their offering, a sacrifice made by fire unto the LORD, and their sin offering before the LORD, for their ignorance:25 The priest will make peace with the LORD for the whole community of Israel. Then they will be forgiven because the wrongdoing was unintentional and they brought these two offerings to the LORD for their sin: an offering by fire and an offering for sin.25 The priest shall make atonement for all the congregation of the children of Israel, and they shall be forgiven; for it was an error, and they have brought their offering, an offering made by fire to Yahweh, and their sin offering before Yahweh, for their error:25 And the priest shall make atonement for the whole assembly of the children of Israel, and it shall be forgiven them; for it was a sin of inadvertence, and they have brought before Jehovah their offering, as an offering by fire to Jehovah, and their sin-offering for their sin of inadvertence;

26 So all the congregation of the sons of Israel will be forgiven, with the alien who sojourns among them, for it happened to all the people through error.26 And it shall be forgiven all the congregation of the children of Israel, and the stranger that sojourneth among them; seeing all the people were in ignorance.26 So the whole community of Israel will be forgiven, including foreigners who are living among them, since all the people were involved in the unintentional wrongdoing.26 and all the congregation of the children of Israel shall be forgiven, and the stranger who lives as a foreigner among them; for in respect of all the people it was done unwittingly.26 and it shall be forgiven the whole assembly of the children of Israel, and the stranger that sojourneth among them; for with all the people there was a sin of inadvertence.
27 'Also if one person sins unintentionally, then he shall offer a one year old female goat for a sin offering.27 And if any soul sin through ignorance, then he shall bring a she goat of the first year for a sin offering.27 "If one person unintentionally does something wrong, a one-year-old female goat must be sacrificed as an offering for sin.27 "'If one person sins unwittingly, then he shall offer a female goat a year old for a sin offering.27 And if one soul sin through inadvertence, then he shall present a yearling she-goat for a sin-offering.
28 'The priest shall make atonement before the LORD for the person who goes astray when he sins unintentionally, making atonement for him that he may be forgiven.28 And the priest shall make an atonement for the soul that sinneth ignorantly, when he sinneth by ignorance before the LORD, to make an atonement for him; and it shall be forgiven him.28 The priest will offer the sacrifice to make peace with the LORD for that person, and that person will be forgiven.28 The priest shall make atonement for the soul who errs, when he sins unwittingly, before Yahweh, to make atonement for him; and he shall be forgiven.28 And the priest shall make atonement for the soul that hath done inadvertently, when he sinneth by inadvertence before Jehovah, to make atonement for him; and it shall be forgiven him.
29 You shall have one law for him who does anything unintentionally, for him who is native among the sons of Israel and for the alien who sojourns among them.29 Ye shall have one law for him that sinneth through ignorance, both for him that is born among the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them.29 You must give the same instructions to everyone who does something wrong unintentionally, whether they are native-born Israelites or not.29 You shall have one law for him who does anything unwittingly, for him who is native-born among the children of Israel, and for the stranger who lives as a foreigner among them.29 For him that is born in the land among the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them there shall be one law for you, for him who doeth anything through inadvertence.
30 But the person who does anything defiantly, whether he is native or an alien, that one is blaspheming the LORD; and that person shall be cut off from among his people.30 But the soul that doeth ought presumptuously, whether he be born in the land, or a stranger, the same reproacheth the LORD; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.30 "But any native-born Israelite or foreigner who deliberately does something wrong insults the LORD and must be excluded from the people.30 "'But the soul who does anything with a high hand, whether he is native-born or a foreigner, the same blasphemes Yahweh; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.30 But the soul that doeth ought with a high hand, whether born in the land, or a stranger, he reproacheth Jehovah; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.

31 Because he has despised the word of the LORD and has broken His commandment, that person shall be completely cut off; his guilt will be on him.'"31 Because he hath despised the word of the LORD, and hath broken his commandment, that soul shall utterly be cut off; his iniquity shall be upon him.31 That person has despised the word of the LORD and broken the LORD's command. He must be excluded completely. He remains guilty."31 Because he has despised the word of Yahweh, and has broken his commandment, that soul shall utterly be cut off; his iniquity shall be on him.'"31 For he hath despised the word of Jehovah, and hath broken his commandment: that soul shall surely be cut off; his iniquity is upon him.
Sabbath-breaking Punished
32 Now while the sons of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man gathering wood on the sabbath day.32 And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man that gathered sticks upon the sabbath day.32 While the Israelites were in the desert, they found a man gathering wood on the day of worship.32 While the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man gathering sticks on the Sabbath day.32 And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness they found a man gathering sticks on the sabbath day.
33 Those who found him gathering wood brought him to Moses and Aaron and to all the congregation;33 And they that found him gathering sticks brought him unto Moses and Aaron, and unto all the congregation.33 Those who found him gathering wood brought him to Moses and Aaron and the whole community.33 Those who found him gathering sticks brought him to Moses and Aaron, and to all the congregation.33 And they that found him gathering sticks brought him to Moses and Aaron, and to the whole assembly.

35 Then the LORD said to Moses, "The man shall surely be put to death; all the congregation shall stone him with stones outside the camp."35 And the LORD said unto Moses, The man shall be surely put to death: all the congregation shall stone him with stones without the camp.35 Then the LORD said to Moses, "This man must be put to death. The whole community must take him outside the camp and stone him."35 Yahweh said to Moses, "The man shall surely be put to death: all the congregation shall stone him with stones outside of the camp."35 And Jehovah said to Moses, The man shall certainly be put to death: the whole assembly shall stone him with stones outside the camp.

36 So all the congregation brought him outside the camp and stoned him to death with stones, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.36 And all the congregation brought him without the camp, and stoned him with stones, and he died; as the LORD commanded Moses.36 So the whole community took him outside the camp and stoned him to death, as the LORD commanded Moses.36 All the congregation brought him outside of the camp, and stoned him to death with stones; as Yahweh commanded Moses.36 And the whole assembly led him outside the camp, and stoned him with stones, and he died, as Jehovah had commanded Moses.

38 "Speak to the sons of Israel, and tell them that they shall make for themselves tassels on the corners of their garments throughout their generations, and that they shall put on the tassel of each corner a cord of blue.38 Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put upon the fringe of the borders a ribband of blue:38 "Speak to the Israelites and tell them: For generations to come they must wear tassels on the corners of their clothes with violet threads in each tassel.38 "Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them that they should make themselves fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put on the fringe of each border a cord of blue:38 Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them tassels on the corners of their garments, throughout their generations, and that they attach to the tassel of the corners a lace of blue;
39 "It shall be a tassel for you to look at and remember all the commandments of the LORD, so as to do them and not follow after your own heart and your own eyes, after which you played the harlot,39 And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the LORD, and do them; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring:39 Whenever you look at the threads in the tassel, you will remember all the LORD's commands and obey them. Then you won't do whatever you want and go after whatever you see, as if you were chasing after prostitutes.39 and it shall be to you for a fringe, that you may look on it, and remember all the commandments of Yahweh, and do them; and that you not follow after your own heart and your own eyes, after which you use to play the prostitute;39 and it shall be unto you for a tassel, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of Jehovah, and do them; and that ye seek not after the lusts of your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye go a whoring;
40 so that you may remember to do all My commandments and be holy to your God.40 That ye may remember, and do all my commandments, and be holy unto your God.40 You will remember to obey all my commands, and you will be holy to your God.40 that you may remember and do all my commandments, and be holy to your God.40 that ye may remember and do all my commandments, and be holy unto your God.
