O LORD, You have searched me and known me. | 1 O lord, thou hast searched me, and known me. | 1 [For the choir director; a psalm by David.] O LORD, you have examined me, and you know me. | 1 Yahweh, you have searched me, and you know me. | 1 {To the chief Musician. A Psalm of David.} Jehovah, thou hast searched me, and known me. | 2 You know when I sit down and when I rise up; You understand my thought from afar. | 2 Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. | 2 You alone know when I sit down and when I get up. You read my thoughts from far away. | 2 You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar. | 2 Thou knowest my down-sitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off; | 3 You scrutinize my path and my lying down, And are intimately acquainted with all my ways. | 3 Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways. | 3 You watch me when I travel and when I rest. Your works are miraculous, and my soul is fully aware of this. | 14 I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful.
