| 1 How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, Nor stand in the path of sinners, Nor sit in the seat of scoffers! | 1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. | 1 Blessed is the person who does not follow the advice of wicked people, take the path of sinners, or join the company of mockers. | 1 Blessed is the man who doesn't walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers; | 1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the wicked, and standeth not in the way of sinners, and sitteth not in the seat of scorners; | 2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night. | 2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. | 2 Rather, he delights in the teachings of the LORD and reflects on his teachings day and night. | 2 but his delight is in Yahweh's law. On his law he meditates day and night. | 2 But his delight is in Jehovah's law, and in his law doth he meditate day and night. | 3 He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, Which yields its fruit in its season And its leaf does not wither; And in whatever he does, he prospers. | 3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. | 3 He is like a tree planted beside streams- a tree that produces fruit in season and whose leaves do not wither. He succeeds in everything he does. | 3 He will be like a tree planted by the streams of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also does not wither.
