| 1 A Psalm of David. Contend, O LORD, with those who contend with me; Fight against those who fight against me. | 1 Plead my cause, O LORD, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me. | 1 [By David.] O LORD, attack those who attack me. Fight against those who fight against me. | 1 Contend, Yahweh, with those who contend with me. Fight against those who fight against me. | 1 {A Psalm of David.} Strive, O Jehovah, with them that strive with me; fight against them that fight against me: | 2 Take hold of buckler and shield And rise up for my help. | 2 Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for mine help. | 2 Use your shields, [both] small and large. | 11 Malicious witnesses rise up; They ask me of things that I do not know. | 11 False witnesses did rise up; they laid to my charge things that I knew not. | 11 Malicious people bring charges against me.
