| 1 A Psalm of David, for a memorial. O LORD, rebuke me not in Your wrath, And chasten me not in Your burning anger. | 1 O lord, rebuke me not in thy wrath: neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure. | 1 [A psalm by David; to be kept in mind.] O LORD, do not angrily punish me or discipline me in your wrath. | 1 Yahweh, don't rebuke me in your wrath, neither chasten me in your hot displeasure. | 1 {A Psalm of David, to bring to remembrance.} Jehovah, rebuke me not in thy wrath; neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure. | 2 For Your arrows have sunk deep into me, And Your hand has pressed down on me. | 2 For thine arrows stick fast in me, and thy hand presseth me sore. | 2 Your arrows have struck me. Your hand has struck me hard. | 2 For your arrows have pierced me, your hand presses hard on me. | 2 For thine arrows stick fast in me, and thy hand cometh down upon me. | 3 There is no soundness in my flesh because of Your indignation; There is no health in my bones because of my sin. | 3 There is no soundness in my flesh because of thine anger; neither is there any rest in my bones because of my sin. | 3 No healthy spot is left on my body because of your rage.
