God Gives Most
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
 For it is superfluous for me to write to you about this ministry to the saints;1 For as touching the ministering to the saints, it is superfluous for me to write to you:1 I don't need to write anything further to you about helping the Christians [in Jerusalem].1 It is indeed unnecessary for me to write to you concerning the service to the saints,1 For concerning the ministration which is for the saints, it is superfluous my writing to you.
 for I know your readiness, of which I boast about you to the Macedonians, namely, that Achaia has been prepared since last year, and your zeal has stirred up most of them.2 For I know the forwardness of your mind, for which I boast of you to them of Macedonia, that Achaia was ready a year ago; and your zeal hath provoked very many.2 I know how willing you are to help, and I brag about you to the believers in the province of Macedonia. I tell them, "The people of Greece have been ready [to send their collection] since last year," and your enthusiasm has moved most of them [to act].2 for I know your readiness, of which I boast on your behalf to them of Macedonia, that Achaia has been prepared for a year past. Your zeal has stirred up very many of them.2 For I know your readiness, which I boast of as respects you to Macedonians, that Achaia is prepared since a year ago, and the zeal reported of you has stimulated the mass of the brethren.
 But I have sent the brethren, in order that our boasting about you may not be made empty in this case, so that, as I was saying, you may be prepared;3 Yet have I sent the brethren, lest our boasting of you should be in vain in this behalf; that, as I said, ye may be ready:3 I've sent my coworkers so that when we brag that you're ready, we can back it up.3 But I have sent the brothers that our boasting on your behalf may not be in vain in this respect, that, just as I said, you may be prepared,3 But I have sent the brethren, in order that our boasting about you may not be made void in this respect, in order that, as I have said, ye may be prepared;
 otherwise if any Macedonians come with me and find you unprepared, we-- not to speak of you-- will be put to shame by this confidence.4 Lest haply if they of Macedonia come with me, and find you unprepared, we (that we say not, ye) should be ashamed in this same confident boasting.4 Otherwise, if any Macedonians come with me, they might find out that you're not ready after all. This would embarrass us for feeling so confident as much as it would embarrass you.4 so that I won't by any means, if there come with me any of Macedonia and find you unprepared, we (to say nothing of you) should be disappointed in this confident boasting.4 lest haply, if Macedonians come with me and find you unprepared, we, that we say not ye, may be put to shame in this confidence.
 So I thought it necessary to urge the brethren that they would go on ahead to you and arrange beforehand your previously promised bountiful gift, so that the same would be ready as a bountiful gift and not affected by covetousness.5 Therefore I thought it necessary to exhort the brethren, that they would go before unto you, and make up beforehand your bounty, whereof ye had notice before, that the same might be ready, as a matter of bounty, and not as of covetousness.5 So I thought that I should encourage our coworkers to visit you before I do and make arrangements for this gift that you had already promised to give. Then it will be the blessing it was intended to be, and it won't be something you're forced to do.5 I thought it necessary therefore to entreat the brothers that they would go before to you, and arrange ahead of time the generous gift that you promised before, that the same might be ready as a matter of generosity, and not of greediness.5 I thought it necessary therefore to beg the brethren that they would come to you, and complete beforehand your fore-announced blessing, that this may be ready thus as blessing, and not as got out of you.

 Now this I say, he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.6 But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.6 Remember this: The farmer who plants a few seeds will have a very small harvest. But the farmer who plants because he has received God's blessings will receive a harvest of God's blessings in return.6 Remember this: he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly. He who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.6 But this is true, he that sows sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he that sows in the spirit of blessing shall reap also in blessing:
 Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.7 Each of you should give whatever you have decided. You shouldn't be sorry that you gave or feel forced to give, since God loves a cheerful giver.7 Let each man give according as he has determined in his heart; not grudgingly, or under compulsion; for God loves a cheerful giver.7 each according as he is purposed in his heart; not grievingly, or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.
 And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed;8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:8 Besides, God will give you his constantly overflowing kindness. Then, when you always have everything you need, you can do more and more good things. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound to you, that you, always having all sufficiency in everything, may abound to every good work.8 But God is able to make every gracious gift abound towards you, that, having in every way always all-sufficiency, ye may abound to every good work:
 as it is written, "HE SCATTERED ABROAD, HE GAVE TO THE POOR, HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS ENDURES FOREVER."9 (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever.9 Scripture says, "The righteous person gives freely to the poor. His righteousness continues forever."9 As it is written, "He has scattered abroad, he has given to the poor. His righteousness remains forever."9 according as it is written, He has scattered abroad, he has given to the poor, his righteousness remains for ever.
 Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness;10 Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)10 God gives seed to the farmer and food to those who need to eat. God will also give you seed and multiply it. In your lives he will increase the things you do that have his approval.10 Now may he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food, supply and multiply your seed for sowing, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;10 Now he that supplies seed to the sower and bread for eating shall supply and make abundant your sowing, and increase the fruits of your righteousness:

 you will be enriched in everything for all liberality, which through us is producing thanksgiving to God.11 Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.11 God will make you rich enough so that you can always be generous. Your generosity will produce thanksgiving to God because of us.11 you being enriched in everything to all liberality, which works through us thanksgiving to God.11 enriched in every way unto all free-hearted liberality, which works through us thanksgiving to God.
 For the ministry of this service is not only fully supplying the needs of the saints, but is also overflowing through many thanksgivings to God.12 For the administration of this service not only supplieth the want of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God;12 What you do to serve others not only provides for the needs of God's people, but also produces more and more prayers of thanksgiving to God.12 For this service of giving that you perform not only makes up for lack among the saints, but abounds also through many givings of thanks to God;12 Because the ministration of this service is not only filling up the measure of what is lacking to the saints, but also abounding by many thanksgivings to God;
 Because of the proof given by this ministry, they will glorify God for your obedience to your confession of the gospel of Christ and for the liberality of your contribution to them and to all,13 Whiles by the experiment of this ministration they glorify God for your professed subjection unto the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal distribution unto them, and unto all men;13 You will honor God through this genuine act of service because of your commitment to spread the Good News of Christ and because of your generosity in sharing with them and everyone else.13 seeing that through the proof given by this service, they glorify God for the obedience of your confession to the Good News of Christ, and for the liberality of your contribution to them and to all;13 they glorifying God through the proof of this ministration, by reason of your subjection, by profession, to the glad tidings of the Christ, and your free-hearted liberality in communicating towards them and towards all;
 while they also, by prayer on your behalf, yearn for you because of the surpassing grace of God in you.14 And by their prayer for you, which long after you for the exceeding grace of God in you.14 With deep affection they will pray for you because of the extreme kindness that God has shown you.14 while they themselves also, with supplication on your behalf, yearn for you by reason of the exceeding grace of God in you.14 and in their supplication for you, full of ardent desire for you, on account of the exceeding grace of God which is upon you.
 Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!15 Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.15 I thank God for his gift that words cannot describe.15 Now thanks be to God for his unspeakable gift!15 Thanks be to God for his unspeakable free gift.
