| 1 Now Peter and John were going up to the temple at the ninth hour, the hour of prayer. | 1 Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour. | 1 Peter and John were going to the temple courtyard for the three o'clock prayer. | 1 Peter and John were going up into the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour. | 1 And Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, which is the ninth hour; | 2 And a man who had been lame from his mother's womb was being carried along, whom they used to set down every day at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, in order to beg alms of those who were entering the temple. | 2 And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple; | 2 At the same time, a man who had been lame from birth was being carried by some men. Every day these men would put the lame man at a gate in the temple courtyard. The gate was called Beautiful Gate. | 11 While he was clinging to Peter and John, all the people ran together to them at the so-called portico of Solomon, full of amazement. | 11 And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon's, greatly wondering. | 11 They were excited, and everyone ran to see them at the place called Solomon's Porch. Why are you staring at us as though we have made him walk by our own power or godly life? | 12 When Peter saw it, he responded to the people, "You men of Israel, why do you marvel at this man? Why do you fasten your eyes on us, as though by our own power or godliness we had made him walk? | 12 And Peter, seeing it, answered the people, Men of Israel, why are ye astonished at this? or why do ye gaze on us as if we had by our own power or piety made him to walk? | 13 "The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified His servant Jesus, the one whom you delivered and disowned in the presence of Pilate, when he had decided to release Him. | 13 The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go. | 13 The God of our ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob has glorified his servant Jesus.
