God’s Gracious Dealings
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
 "All the commandments that I am commanding you today you shall be careful to do, that you may live and multiply, and go in and possess the land which the LORD swore to give to your forefathers.1 All the commandments which I command thee this day shall ye observe to do, that ye may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers.1 Be careful to obey every command I give you today. Then you will live, and your population will increase. You will enter and take possession of the land that the LORD promised to your ancestors with an oath.1 You shall observe to do all the commandment which I command you this day, that you may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which Yahweh swore to your fathers.1 Every commandment which I command thee this day shall ye take heed to do, that ye may live, and multiply, and enter in and possess the land which Jehovah swore unto your fathers.
 "You shall remember all the way which the LORD your God has led you in the wilderness these forty years, that He might humble you, testing you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not.2 And thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no.2 Remember that for 40 years the LORD your God led you on your journey in the desert. He did this in order to humble you and test you. He wanted to know whether or not you would wholeheartedly obey his commands.2 You shall remember all the way which Yahweh your God has led you these forty years in the wilderness, that he might humble you, to prove you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep his commandments, or not.2 And thou shalt remember all the way which Jehovah thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thy heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments or not.
 "He humbled you and let you be hungry, and fed you with manna which you did not know, nor did your fathers know, that He might make you understand that man does not live by bread alone, but man lives by everything that proceeds out of the mouth of the LORD.3 And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live.3 So he made you suffer from hunger and then fed you with manna, which neither you nor your ancestors had seen before. He did this to teach you that a person cannot live on bread alone but on every word that the LORD speaks.3 He humbled you, and allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna, which you didn't know, neither did your fathers know; that he might make you know that man does not live by bread only, but by everything that proceeds out of the mouth of Yahweh does man live.3 And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with the manna, which thou hadst not known, and which thy fathers knew not; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread alone, but by everything that goeth out of the mouth of Jehovah doth man live.
 "Your clothing did not wear out on you, nor did your foot swell these forty years.4 Thy raiment waxed not old upon thee, neither did thy foot swell, these forty years.4 Your clothes didn't wear out, and your feet didn't swell these past 40 years.4 Your clothing didn't grow old on you, neither did your foot swell, these forty years.4 Thy clothing grew not old upon thee, neither did thy foot swell, these forty years.
 "Thus you are to know in your heart that the LORD your God was disciplining you just as a man disciplines his son.5 Thou shalt also consider in thine heart, that, as a man chasteneth his son, so the LORD thy God chasteneth thee.5 Learn this lesson by heart: The LORD your God was disciplining you as parents discipline their children.5 You shall consider in your heart that as a man chastens his son, so Yahweh your God chastens you.5 And know in thy heart that, as a man chasteneth his son, so Jehovah thy God chasteneth thee;

 "Therefore, you shall keep the commandments of the LORD your God, to walk in His ways and to fear Him.6 Therefore thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.6 Obey the commands of the LORD your God. Follow his directions, and fear him.6 You shall keep the commandments of Yahweh your God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.6 and thou shalt keep the commandments of Jehovah thy God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.
 "For the LORD your God is bringing you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and springs, flowing forth in valleys and hills;7 For the LORD thy God bringeth thee into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and depths that spring out of valleys and hills;7 The LORD your God is bringing you into a good land. It is a land with rivers that don't dry up. There are springs and underground streams flowing through the valleys and hills.7 For Yahweh your God brings you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of springs, and underground water flowing into valleys and hills;7 For Jehovah thy God bringeth thee into a good land, a land of water-brooks, of springs, and of deep waters, that gush forth in the valleys and hills;
 a land of wheat and barley, of vines and fig trees and pomegranates, a land of olive oil and honey;8 A land of wheat, and barley, and vines, and fig trees, and pomegranates; a land of oil olive, and honey;8 The land has wheat and barley, grapevines, fig trees, and pomegranates. The land has honey and olive trees for olive oil.8 a land of wheat and barley, and vines and fig trees and pomegranates; a land of olive trees and honey;8 a land of wheat, and barley, and vines, and fig-trees, and pomegranates; a land of olive-trees and honey;
 a land where you will eat food without scarcity, in which you will not lack anything; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills you can dig copper.9 A land wherein thou shalt eat bread without scarceness, thou shalt not lack any thing in it; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills thou mayest dig brass.9 The land will have enough food for you, and you will have everything you need. The land has rocks with iron ore, and you will be able to mine copper ore in the hills.9 a land in which you shall eat bread without scarceness, you shall not lack anything in it; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills you may dig copper.9 a land wherein thou shalt eat bread without scarceness, where thou shalt lack nothing; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose mountains thou wilt dig copper.
 "When you have eaten and are satisfied, you shall bless the LORD your God for the good land which He has given you.10 When thou hast eaten and art full, then thou shalt bless the LORD thy God for the good land which he hath given thee.10 When you have eaten all you want, thank the LORD your God for the good land he has given you.10 You shall eat and be full, and you shall bless Yahweh your God for the good land which he has given you.10 And thou shalt eat and be filled, and shalt bless Jehovah thy God for the good land which he hath given thee.

 "Beware that you do not forget the LORD your God by not keeping His commandments and His ordinances and His statutes which I am commanding you today;11 Beware that thou forget not the LORD thy God, in not keeping his commandments, and his judgments, and his statutes, which I command thee this day:11 Be careful that you don't forget the LORD your God. Don't fail to obey his commands, rules, and laws that I'm giving you today.11 Beware lest you forget Yahweh your God, in not keeping his commandments, and his ordinances, and his statutes, which I command you this day:11 Beware that thou forget not Jehovah thy God, in not keeping his commandments, and his ordinances, and his statutes, which I command thee this day;
 otherwise, when you have eaten and are satisfied, and have built good houses and lived in them,12 Lest when thou hast eaten and art full, and hast built goodly houses, and dwelt therein;12 You will eat all you want. You will build nice houses and live in them.12 lest, when you have eaten and are full, and have built goodly houses, and lived therein;12 lest when thou hast eaten and art full, and hast built and inhabited fine houses,
 and when your herds and your flocks multiply, and your silver and gold multiply, and all that you have multiplies,13 And when thy herds and thy flocks multiply, and thy silver and thy gold is multiplied, and all that thou hast is multiplied;13 Your herds and flocks, silver and gold, and everything else you have will increase.13 and when your herds and your flocks multiply, and your silver and your gold is multiplied, and all that you have is multiplied;13 and thy herds and thy flocks multiply, and thy silver and thy gold is multiplied, and all that thou hast is multiplied,
 then your heart will become proud and you will forget the LORD your God who brought you out from the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.14 Then thine heart be lifted up, and thou forget the LORD thy God, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage;14 When this happens, be careful that you don't become arrogant and forget the LORD your God, who brought you out of slavery in Egypt.14 then your heart be lifted up, and you forget Yahweh your God, who brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage;14 then thy heart be lifted up, and thou forget Jehovah thy God, who brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage;
 "He led you through the great and terrible wilderness, with its fiery serpents and scorpions and thirsty ground where there was no water; He brought water for you out of the rock of flint.15 Who led thee through that great and terrible wilderness, wherein were fiery serpents, and scorpions, and drought, where there was no water; who brought thee forth water out of the rock of flint;15 He was the one who led you through that vast and dangerous desert-a thirsty and arid land, with poisonous snakes and scorpions. He was the one who made water come out of solid rock for you.15 who led you through the great and terrible wilderness, [in which were] fiery serpents and scorpions, and thirsty ground where there was no water; who brought you forth water out of the rock of flint;15 who led thee through the great and terrible wilderness, a wilderness of fiery serpents, and scorpions, and drought, where there is no water; who brought thee forth water out of the rock of flint;

 "In the wilderness He fed you manna which your fathers did not know, that He might humble you and that He might test you, to do good for you in the end.16 Who fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy fathers knew not, that he might humble thee, and that he might prove thee, to do thee good at thy latter end;16 He was the one who fed you in the desert with manna, which your ancestors had never seen. He did this in order to humble you and test you. But he also did this so that things would go well for you in the end.16 who fed you in the wilderness with manna, which your fathers didn't know; that he might humble you, and that he might prove you, to do you good at your latter end:16 who fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy fathers knew not, that he might humble thee, and that he might prove thee, to do thee good at thy latter end;
 "Otherwise, you may say in your heart, 'My power and the strength of my hand made me this wealth.'17 And thou say in thine heart, My power and the might of mine hand hath gotten me this wealth.17 You may say to yourselves, "I became wealthy because of my own ability and strength."17 and [lest] you say in your heart, "My power and the might of my hand has gotten me this wealth."17 And thou say in thy heart, my power And the might of my hand has procured me This wealth.
 "But you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who is giving you power to make wealth, that He may confirm His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.18 But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.18 But remember the LORD your God is the one who makes you wealthy. He's confirming the promise which he swore to your ancestors. It's still in effect today. 18 But you shall remember Yahweh your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth; that he may establish his covenant which he swore to your fathers, as at this day.18 But thou shalt remember Jehovah thy God, that it is he who giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he swore unto thy fathers, as it is this day.
 "It shall come about if you ever forget the LORD your God and go after other gods and serve them and worship them, I testify against you today that you will surely perish.19 And it shall be, if thou do at all forget the LORD thy God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that ye shall surely perish.19 I warn you today that if you forget the LORD your God and follow other gods, and if you serve them and bow down to them, you will certainly be destroyed.19 It shall be, if you shall forget Yahweh your God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that you shall surely perish.19 And it shall be, if thou do at all forget Jehovah thy God, and go after other gods, and serve them, and bow down to them, I testify against you this day that ye shall utterly perish.
 "Like the nations that the LORD makes to perish before you, so you shall perish; because you would not listen to the voice of the LORD your God.20 As the nations which the LORD destroyeth before your face, so shall ye perish; because ye would not be obedient unto the voice of the LORD your God.20 The LORD is going to destroy other nations as you enter the land. You will be destroyed like them if you don't obey the LORD your God.20 As the nations that Yahweh makes to perish before you, so you shall perish; because you wouldn't listen to the voice of Yahweh your God.20 As the nations which Jehovah is causing to perish before you, so shall ye perish; because ye would not hearken unto the voice of Jehovah your God.
