1 Then he made the altar of burnt offering of acacia wood, five cubits long, and five cubits wide, square, and three cubits high.1 And he made the altar of burnt offering of shittim wood: five cubits was the length thereof, and five cubits the breadth thereof; it was foursquare; and three cubits the height thereof.1 He made the altar for burnt offerings out of acacia wood 71/2 feet square and 41/2 feet high.1 He made the altar of burnt offering of acacia wood. It was square. Its length was five cubits, its breadth was five cubits, and its height was three cubits.1 And he made the altar of burnt-offering of acacia-wood; five cubits the length thereof, and five cubits the breadth thereof, square, and three cubits the height thereof.
2 He made its horns on its four corners, its horns being of one piece with it, and he overlaid it with bronze.2 And he made the horns thereof on the four corners of it; the horns thereof were of the same: and he overlaid it with brass.2 He made a horn at each of its four corners. He made the four horns and the altar out of one piece [of wood] covered with bronze.2 He made its horns on its four corners. Its horns were of one piece with it, and he overlaid it with brass.2 And he made its horns on the four corners thereof; its horns were of itself; and he overlaid it with copper.
3 He made all the utensils of the altar, the pails and the shovels and the basins, the flesh hooks and the firepans; he made all its utensils of bronze.3 And he made all the vessels of the altar, the pots, and the shovels, and the basins, and the fleshhooks, and the firepans: all the vessels thereof made he of brass.3 He made all the utensils out of bronze: pots, shovels, bowls, forks, and incense burners.3 He made all the vessels of the altar, the pots, the shovels, the basins, the forks, and the fire pans. He made all its vessels of brass.3 And he made all the utensils of the altar: the pots, and the shovels, and the bowls, the forks, and the firepans; all its utensils made he of copper.
4 He made for the altar a grating of bronze network beneath, under its ledge, reaching halfway up.4 And he made for the altar a brazen grate of network under the compass thereof beneath unto the midst of it.4 He made a grate for the altar out of bronze mesh, [and put it] under the ledge, halfway up the altar.4 He made for the altar a grating of a network of brass, under the ledge around it beneath, reaching halfway up.4 And he made for the altar a grating of network of copper under its ledge from beneath, to the very middle of it.
5 He cast four rings on the four ends of the bronze grating as holders for the poles.5 And he cast four rings for the four ends of the grate of brass, to be places for the staves.5 He cast four rings to hold the poles (one for each of the four corners of the bronze grate).5 He cast four rings for the four ends of brass grating, to be places for the poles.5 And he cast four rings for the four corners of the grating of copper, as receptacles for the staves.

7 He inserted the poles into the rings on the sides of the altar, with which to carry it. He made it hollow with planks.7 And he put the staves into the rings on the sides of the altar, to bear it withal; he made the altar hollow with boards.7 He put the poles through the rings on the sides of the altar to carry it. He made the altar out of boards so that it was hollow inside.7 He put the poles into the rings on the sides of the altar, with which to carry it. He made it hollow with planks.7 And he put the staves into the rings on the sides of the altar, with which to carry it. Hollow with boards did he make it.
8 Moreover, he made the laver of bronze with its base of bronze, from the mirrors of the serving women who served at the doorway of the tent of meeting.8 And he made the laver of brass, and the foot of it of brass, of the lookingglasses of the women assembling, which assembled at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.8 He made the basin and stand out of the bronze mirrors given by the women who served at the entrance to the tent of meeting.8 He made the basin of brass, and its base of brass, out of the mirrors of the ministering women who ministered at the door of the Tent of Meeting.8 And he made the laver of copper, and its stand of copper, of the mirrors of the crowds of women who crowded before the entrance of the tent of meeting.
9 Then he made the court: for the south side the hangings of the court were of fine twisted linen, one hundred cubits;9 And he made the court: on the south side southward the hangings of the court were of fine twined linen, an hundred cubits:9 He also made the courtyard. The south side of the courtyard was 150 feet long and had curtains made out of fine linen yarn,9 He made the court: for the south side southward the hangings of the court were of fine twined linen, one hundred cubits;9 And he made the court. On the south side southward, the hangings of the court were of twined byssus, a hundred cubits;
10 their twenty pillars, and their twenty sockets, made of bronze; the hooks of the pillars and their bands were of silver.10 Their pillars were twenty, and their brazen sockets twenty; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets were of silver.10 [hung] on 20 posts [set in] 20 bronze bases. The hooks and bands on the posts were made of silver.10 their pillars were twenty, and their sockets twenty, of brass; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets were of silver.10 their pillars twenty, and their bases twenty, of copper; the hooks of the pillars and their connecting-rods of silver.

11 For the north side there were one hundred cubits; their twenty pillars and their twenty sockets were of bronze, the hooks of the pillars and their bands were of silver.11 And for the north side the hangings were an hundred cubits, their pillars were twenty, and their sockets of brass twenty; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets of silver.11 The north side was also 150 feet long with 20 posts and 20 bronze bases. The hooks and bands on the posts were made of silver.11 For the north side one hundred cubits, their pillars twenty, and their sockets twenty, of brass; the hooks of the pillars, and their fillets, of silver.11 And on the north side, a hundred cubits; their pillars twenty, and their bases twenty, of copper; the hooks of the pillars and their connecting-rods of silver.
12 For the west side there were hangings of fifty cubits with their ten pillars and their ten sockets; the hooks of the pillars and their bands were of silver.12 And for the west side were hangings of fifty cubits, their pillars ten, and their sockets ten; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets of silver.12 The west side was 75 feet long and had curtains [hung] on 10 posts [set in] 10 bases. The hooks and bands on the posts were made of silver.12 For the west side were hangings of fifty cubits, their pillars ten, and their sockets ten; the hooks of the pillars, and their fillets, of silver.12 And on the west side, hangings of fifty cubits; their pillars ten, and their bases ten; the hooks of the pillars and their connecting-rods of silver.
13 For the east side fifty cubits.13 And for the east side eastward fifty cubits.13 The east side, facing the rising sun, was 75 feet [wide].13 For the east side eastward fifty cubits.13 And for the east side, eastward, fifty cubits;
14 The hangings for the one side of the gate were fifteen cubits, with their three pillars and their three sockets,14 The hangings of the one side of the gate were fifteen cubits; their pillars three, and their sockets three.14 Each side of the entrance to the courtyard was 221/2 feet wide with curtains [hung] on three posts [set in] three bases.14 The hangings for the one side were fifteen cubits; their pillars three, and their sockets three;14 the hangings on the one wing of fifteen cubits, their pillars three, and their bases three;
15 and so for the other side. On both sides of the gate of the court were hangings of fifteen cubits, with their three pillars and their three sockets.15 And for the other side of the court gate, on this hand and that hand, were hangings of fifteen cubits; their pillars three, and their sockets three.15 15 and so for the other side: on this hand and that hand by the gate of the court were hangings of fifteen cubits; their pillars three, and their sockets three.15 and on the other wing, on this side as on that side of the gate of the court, hangings of fifteen cubits, their pillars three, and their bases three.

16 All the hangings of the court all around were of fine twisted linen.16 All the hangings of the court round about were of fine twined linen.16 All the curtains around the courtyard were made out of fine linen yarn.16 All the hangings around the court were of fine twined linen.16 All the hangings of the court round about were of twined byssus;
17 The sockets for the pillars were of bronze, the hooks of the pillars and their bands, of silver; and the overlaying of their tops, of silver, and all the pillars of the court were furnished with silver bands.17 And the sockets for the pillars were of brass; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets of silver; and the overlaying of their chapiters of silver; and all the pillars of the court were filleted with silver.17 The bases for the posts were made of bronze. The hooks and bands on the posts were made of silver. The tops of the posts were covered with silver. And the bands on all the posts of the courtyard were made of silver.17 The sockets for the pillars were of brass. The hooks of the pillars and their fillets were of silver; and the overlaying of their capitals, of silver; and all the pillars of the court were filleted with silver.17 and the bases of the pillars of copper, the hooks of the pillars and their connecting-rods of silver, and the overlaying of their capitals of silver; and all the pillars of the court were fastened together with rods of silver.
18 The screen of the gate of the court was the work of the weaver, of blue and purple and scarlet material and fine twisted linen. And the length was twenty cubits and the height was five cubits, corresponding to the hangings of the court.18 And the hanging for the gate of the court was needlework, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen: and twenty cubits was the length, and the height in the breadth was five cubits, answerable to the hangings of the court.18 The screen for the entrance to the courtyard was made of violet, purple, and bright red yarn embroidered on [fabric made from] fine linen yarn. It was 30 feet long and 71/2 feet high, just like the curtains of the courtyard.18 The screen for the gate of the court was the work of the embroiderer, of blue, purple, scarlet, and fine twined linen. Twenty cubits was the length, and the height in the breadth was five cubits, like to the hangings of the court.18 And the curtain of the gate of the court was of embroidery of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined byssus; and the length was twenty cubits, and the height like the breadth, five cubits, just as the hangings of the court;
19 Their four pillars and their four sockets were of bronze; their hooks were of silver, and the overlaying of their tops and their bands were of silver.19 And their pillars were four, and their sockets of brass four; their hooks of silver, and the overlaying of their chapiters and their fillets of silver.19 It was hung on four posts [set in] four bronze bases. The hooks and bands on the posts were made of silver. The tops of the posts were covered with silver.19 Their pillars were four, and their sockets four, of brass; their hooks of silver, and the overlaying of their capitals, and their fillets, of silver.19 and their pillars four, and their bases four, of copper; their hooks of silver, and the overlaying of their capitals and their connecting-rods of silver.
20 All the pegs of the tabernacle and of the court all around were of bronze.20 And all the pins of the tabernacle, and of the court round about, were of brass.20 All the pegs for the tent and the surrounding courtyard were made of bronze.20 All the pins of the tabernacle, and around the court, were of brass.20 And all the pegs for the tabernacle and for the court round about were of copper.
The Cost of the Tabernacle

21 This is the number of the things for the tabernacle, the tabernacle of the testimony, as they were numbered according to the command of Moses, for the service of the Levites, by the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.21 This is the sum of the tabernacle, even of the tabernacle of testimony, as it was counted, according to the commandment of Moses, for the service of the Levites, by the hand of Ithamar, son to Aaron the priest.21 This is the amount of material that was used for the tent (the tent of the words of God's promise). An inventory was ordered by Moses and carried out by the Levites under the direction of Ithamar, son of the priest Aaron.21 This is the amount of material used for the tabernacle, even the Tabernacle of the Testimony, as they were counted, according to the commandment of Moses, for the service of the Levites, by the hand of Ithamar, the son of Aaron the priest.21 These are the things numbered of the tabernacle, the tabernacle of the testimony, which were counted, according to the commandment of Moses, by the service of the Levites, under the hand of Ithamar, son of Aaron the priest.
22 Now Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, made all that the LORD had commanded Moses.22 And Bezaleel the son Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, made all that the LORD commanded Moses.22 Now Bezalel, son of Uri and grandson of Hur, from the tribe of Judah, made everything the LORD had commanded Moses.22 Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, made all that Yahweh commanded Moses.22 And Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, made all that Jehovah had commanded Moses;
23 With him was Oholiab the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, an engraver and a skillful workman and a weaver in blue and in purple and in scarlet material, and fine linen.23 And with him was Aholiab, son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, an engraver, and a cunning workman, and an embroiderer in blue, and in purple, and in scarlet, and fine linen.23 He was a jeweler, carpenter, designer, and he knew how to embroider violet, purple, and bright red yarn on fine linen. His assistant was Oholiab, son of Ahisamach, from the tribe of Dan.23 With him was Oholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, an engraver, and a skillful workman, and an embroiderer in blue, in purple, in scarlet, and in fine linen.23 and with him Aholiab, son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, an engraver and artificer, and an embroiderer in blue, and in purple, and in scarlet, and in byssus.
24 All the gold that was used for the work, in all the work of the sanctuary, even the gold of the wave offering, was 29 talents and 730 shekels, according to the shekel of the sanctuary.24 All the gold that was occupied for the work in all the work of the holy place, even the gold of the offering, was twenty and nine talents, and seven hundred and thirty shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary.24 The total amount of gold from the offerings presented to the LORD used in building the holy place weighed over 2,193 pounds, using the standard weight of the holy place.24 All the gold that was used for the work in all the work of the sanctuary, even the gold of the offering, was twenty-nine talents, and seven hundred thirty shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary.24 All the gold that it took for the work in all the work of the sanctuary the gold of the wave-offering, was twenty-nine talents, and seven hundred and thirty shekels, according to the shekel of the sanctuary.
25 The silver of those of the congregation who were numbered was 100 talents and 1,775 shekels, according to the shekel of the sanctuary;25 And the silver of them that were numbered of the congregation was an hundred talents, and a thousand seven hundred and threescore and fifteen shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary:25 The silver collected when the census of the community was taken weighed 7,544 pounds using the standard weight of the holy place.25 The silver of those who were numbered of the congregation was one hundred talents, and one thousand seven hundred seventy-five shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary:25 And the silver of them that were numbered of the assembly was a hundred talents, and a thousand seven hundred and seventy-five shekels, according to the shekel of the sanctuary:

26 a beka a head (that is, half a shekel according to the shekel of the sanctuary), for each one who passed over to those who were numbered, from twenty years old and upward, for 603,550 men.26 A bekah for every man, that is, half a shekel, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for every one that went to be numbered, from twenty years old and upward, for six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty men.26 This came to one-fifth of an ounce per person, for everyone counted who was at least 20 years old: 603,550 people.26 a beka a head, that is, half a shekel, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for everyone who passed over to those who were numbered, from twenty years old and upward, for six hundred three thousand five hundred fifty men.26 a bekah the head half a shekel, according to the shekel of the sanctuary, for every one that passed the numbering from twenty years old and upward, of the six hundred and three thousand five hundred and fifty.
27 The hundred talents of silver were for casting the sockets of the sanctuary and the sockets of the veil; one hundred sockets for the hundred talents, a talent for a socket.27 And of the hundred talents of silver were cast the sockets of the sanctuary, and the sockets of the vail; an hundred sockets of the hundred talents, a talent for a socket.27 He used 7,500 pounds of silver to cast the 100 bases for the holy place and the canopy. This was 75 pounds per base.27 The one hundred talents of silver were for casting the sockets of the sanctuary, and the sockets of the veil; one hundred sockets for the one hundred talents, a talent for a socket.27 And there were a hundred talents of silver for casting the bases of the sanctuary, and the bases of the veil; a hundred bases of a hundred talents, a talent for a base.
28 Of the 1,775 shekels, he made hooks for the pillars and overlaid their tops and made bands for them.28 And of the thousand seven hundred seventy and five shekels he made hooks for the pillars, and overlaid their chapiters, and filleted them.28 He used 44 pounds of silver to make the hooks and bands for the posts and the coverings for the tops of the posts.28 Of the one thousand seven hundred seventy-five shekels he made hooks for the pillars, overlaid their capitals, and made fillets for them.28 And of the thousand seven hundred and seventy-five shekels he made the hooks for the pillars, and overlaid their capitals, and fastened them with rods.
29 The bronze of the wave offering was 70 talents and 2,400 shekels.29 And the brass of the offering was seventy talents, and two thousand and four hundred shekels.29 The bronze from the offerings presented to the LORD weighed 5,310 pounds.29 The brass of the offering was seventy talents, and two thousand four hundred shekels.29 And the copper of the wave-offering was seventy talents, and two thousand four hundred shekels.
30 With it he made the sockets to the doorway of the tent of meeting, and the bronze altar and its bronze grating, and all the utensils of the altar,30 And therewith he made the sockets to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and the brazen altar, and the brazen grate for it, and all the vessels of the altar,30 With this he made the bases for the entrance to the tent of meeting, the bronze altar with its bronze grate and all its accessories,30 With this he made the sockets to the door of the Tent of Meeting, the bronze altar, the bronze grating for it, all the vessels of the altar,30 And he made with it the bases for the entrance of the tent of meeting, and the copper altar, and the copper grating for it, and all the utensils of the altar.
