Job Says God Seems to Ignore Wrongs
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
 "Why are times not stored up by the Almighty, And why do those who know Him not see His days?1 Why, seeing times are not hidden from the Almighty, do they that know him not see his days?1 "Why doesn't the Almighty set aside times [for punishment]? Why don't those who are close to him see his days [of judgment]?1 "Why aren't times laid up by the Almighty? Why don't those who know him see his days?1 Why are not times treasured up with the Almighty? why do not they that know him see his days?
 "Some remove the landmarks; They seize and devour flocks.2 Some remove the landmarks; they violently take away flocks, and feed thereof.2 "[People] move boundary markers. They steal flocks and tend them as shepherds.2 There are people who remove the landmarks. They violently take away flocks, and feed them.2 They remove the landmarks; they violently take away the flocks and pasture them;
 "They drive away the donkeys of the orphans; They take the widow's ox for a pledge.3 They drive away the ass of the fatherless, they take the widow's ox for a pledge.3 They drive away the orphan's donkey. They take the widow's ox as security for a loan.3 They drive away the donkey of the fatherless, and they take the widow's ox for a pledge.3 They drive away the ass of the fatherless, they take the widow's ox for a pledge;
 "They push the needy aside from the road; The poor of the land are made to hide themselves altogether.4 They turn the needy out of the way: the poor of the earth hide themselves together.4 They force needy people off the road. All the poor people of the country go into hiding.4 They turn the needy out of the way. The poor of the earth all hide themselves.4 They turn the needy out of the way: the afflicted of the land all hide themselves.
 "Behold, as wild donkeys in the wilderness They go forth seeking food in their activity, As bread for their children in the desert.5 Behold, as wild asses in the desert, go they forth to their work; rising betimes for a prey: the wilderness yieldeth food for them and for their children.5 Like wild donkeys in the desert, poor people go out to do their work, looking for food. The plains provide food for their children.5 Behold, as wild donkeys in the desert, they go forth to their work, seeking diligently for food. The wilderness yields them bread for their children.5 Lo, as wild asses in the desert, they go forth to their work, seeking early for the prey: the wilderness yieldeth them food for their children.

 "They harvest their fodder in the field And glean the vineyard of the wicked.6 They reap every one his corn in the field: and they gather the vintage of the wicked.6 They harvest animal food in the field [to feed themselves]. They pick the leftover grapes in the wicked person's vineyard.6 They cut their provender in the field. They glean the vineyard of the wicked.6 They reap in the field the fodder thereof, and they gather the vintage of the wicked;
 "They spend the night naked, without clothing, And have no covering against the cold.7 They cause the naked to lodge without clothing, that they have no covering in the cold.7 All night they lie naked without a covering from the cold.7 They lie all night naked without clothing, and have no covering in the cold.7 They pass the night naked without clothing, and have no covering in the cold;
 "They are wet with the mountain rains And hug the rock for want of a shelter.8 They are wet with the showers of the mountains, and embrace the rock for want of a shelter.8 They are drenched by the rainstorms in the mountains. They hug the rocks because they can't find shelter.8 They are wet with the showers of the mountains, and embrace the rock for lack of a shelter.8 They are wet with the showers of the mountains, and for want of a shelter embrace the rock ...
 "Others snatch the orphan from the breast, And against the poor they take a pledge.9 They pluck the fatherless from the breast, and take a pledge of the poor.9 "[People] snatch the [nursing] orphan from a breast and take a poor woman's baby as security for a loan.9 There are those who pluck the fatherless from the breast, and take a pledge of the poor,9 They pluck the fatherless from the breast, and take a pledge of the poor:
 "They cause the poor to go about naked without clothing, And they take away the sheaves from the hungry.10 They cause him to go naked without clothing, and they take away the sheaf from the hungry;10 [That is why] the poor go around naked. They are hungry, yet they carry bundles of grain.10 So that they go around naked without clothing. Being hungry, they carry the sheaves.10 These go naked without clothing, and, hungry, they bear the sheaf;

 "Within the walls they produce oil; They tread wine presses but thirst.11 Which make oil within their walls, and tread their winepresses, and suffer thirst.11 They press out olive oil between rows [of olive trees]. They stomp on grapes in wine vats, yet they are thirsty.11 They make oil within the walls of these men. They tread wine presses, and suffer thirst.11 They press out oil within their walls, they tread their winepresses, and suffer thirst.
 "From the city men groan, And the souls of the wounded cry out; Yet God does not pay attention to folly.12 Men groan from out of the city, and the soul of the wounded crieth out: yet God layeth not folly to them.12 Those dying in the city groan. Wounded people cry for help, but God pays no attention to their prayers.12 From out of the populous city, men groan. The soul of the wounded cries out, yet God doesn't regard the folly.12 Men groan from out of the city, and the soul of the wounded crieth out; and +God imputeth not the impiety.
 "Others have been with those who rebel against the light; They do not want to know its ways Nor abide in its paths.13 They are of those that rebel against the light; they know not the ways thereof, nor abide in the paths thereof.13 "Such people are among those who rebel against the light. They are not acquainted with its ways. They do not stay on its paths.13 "These are of those who rebel against the light. They don't know its ways, nor stay in its paths.13 There are those that rebel against the light; they know not the ways thereof, nor abide in the paths thereof.
 "The murderer arises at dawn; He kills the poor and the needy, And at night he is as a thief.14 The murderer rising with the light killeth the poor and needy, and in the night is as a thief.14 At dawn murderers rise; they kill the poor and needy. At night they become thieves.14 The murderer rises with the light. He kills the poor and needy. In the night he is like a thief.14 The murderer riseth with the light, killeth the afflicted and needy, and in the night is as a thief.
 "The eye of the adulterer waits for the twilight, Saying, 'No eye will see me.' And he disguises his face.15 The eye also of the adulterer waiteth for the twilight, saying, No eye shall see me: and disguiseth his face.15 Adulterers watch for twilight. They say, 'No one is watching us,' as they cover their faces.15 The eye also of the adulterer waits for the twilight, saying, 'No eye shall see me.' He disguises his face.15 And the eye of the adulterer waiteth for the twilight, saying, No eye shall see me; and he putteth a covering on his face.

 "In the dark they dig into houses, They shut themselves up by day; They do not know the light.16 In the dark they dig through houses, which they had marked for themselves in the daytime: they know not the light.16 In the dark, they break into houses, [but] by day they lock themselves in. They do not [even] know the light,16 In the dark they dig through houses. They shut themselves up in the daytime. They don't know the light.16 In the dark they dig through houses; by day they shut themselves in; they know not the light:
 "For the morning is the same to him as thick darkness, For he is familiar with the terrors of thick darkness.17 For the morning is to them even as the shadow of death: if one know them, they are in the terrors of the shadow of death.17 because morning and deep darkness are the same to them, because they are familiar with the terrors of deep darkness.17 For the morning is to all of them like thick darkness, for they know the terrors of the thick darkness.17 For the morning is to them all as the shadow of death; for they are familiar with the terrors of the shadow of death.
 "They are insignificant on the surface of the water; Their portion is cursed on the earth. They do not turn toward the vineyards.18 He is swift as the waters; their portion is cursed in the earth: he beholdeth not the way of the vineyards.18 Such people are like scum on the surface of the water. Their property is cursed in the land. People do not travel the road that goes to their vineyards.18 "They are foam on the surface of the waters. Their portion is cursed in the earth. They don't turn into the way of the vineyards.18 He is swift on the face of the waters; their portion is cursed on the earth: he turneth not unto the way of the vineyards.
 "Drought and heat consume the snow waters, So does Sheol those who have sinned.19 Drought and heat consume the snow waters: so doth the grave those which have sinned.19 [Just as] drought and heat steal water from snow, so the grave steals people who sin.19 Drought and heat consume the snow waters, so does Sheol those who have sinned.19 Drought and heat consume snow waters; so doth Sheol those that have sinned.
 "A mother will forget him; The worm feeds sweetly till he is no longer remembered. And wickedness will be broken like a tree.20 The womb shall forget him; the worm shall feed sweetly on him; he shall be no more remembered; and wickedness shall be broken as a tree.20 The womb forgets them. Worms feast on them. No one remembers them anymore, and wickedness is snapped like a twig.20 The womb shall forget him. The worm shall feed sweetly on him. He shall be no more remembered. Unrighteousness shall be broken as a tree.20 The womb forgetteth him; the worm feedeth sweetly on him: he shall be no more remembered; and unrighteousness is broken as a tree, --

 "He wrongs the barren woman And does no good for the widow.21 He evil entreateth the barren that beareth not: and doeth not good to the widow.21 These men take advantage of childless women. These men show no kindness to widows.21 He devours the barren who don't bear. He shows no kindness to the widow.21 He that despoileth the barren that beareth not, and doeth not good to the widow:
 "But He drags off the valiant by His power; He rises, but no one has assurance of life.22 He draweth also the mighty with his power: he riseth up, and no man is sure of life.22 [God] will drag away [these] mighty men by his power. These people may prosper, but they will never feel secure about life.22 Yet God preserves the mighty by his power. He rises up who has no assurance of life.22 He draweth also the mighty with his power; he riseth up, and no man is sure of life.
 "He provides them with security, and they are supported; And His eyes are on their ways.23 Though it be given him to be in safety, whereon he resteth; yet his eyes are upon their ways.23 [God] may let them feel confident and self-reliant, but his eyes are on their ways.23 God gives them security, and they rest in it. His eyes are on their ways.23 God setteth him in safety, and he resteth thereon; but his eyes are upon their ways.
 "They are exalted a little while, then they are gone; Moreover, they are brought low and like everything gathered up; Even like the heads of grain they are cut off.24 They are exalted for a little while, but are gone and brought low; they are taken out of the way as all other, and cut off as the tops of the ears of corn.24 [Such people] may be prosperous for a little while, but then they're gone. They are brought down low and disappear like everything else. They wither like heads of grain. 24 They are exalted; yet a little while, and they are gone. Yes, they are brought low, they are taken out of the way as all others, and are cut off as the tops of the ears of grain.24 They are exalted for a little, and are no more; they are laid low; like all other are they gathered, and are cut off as the tops of the ears of corn.
 "Now if it is not so, who can prove me a liar, And make my speech worthless?"25 And if it be not so now, who will make me a liar, and make my speech nothing worth?25 "If it isn't so, who can prove I'm a liar and show that my words are worthless?" No One Is Righteous to God25 If it isn't so now, who will prove me a liar, and make my speech worth nothing?"25 If it be not so now, who will make me a liar, and make my speech nothing worth?
