Ascribe to the LORD, O sons of the mighty, Ascribe to the LORD glory and strength. | 1 Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength. | 1 [A psalm by David.] Give to the LORD, you heavenly beings. Give to the LORD glory and power. | 1 Ascribe to Yahweh, you sons of the mighty, ascribe to Yahweh glory and strength. | 1 {A Psalm of David.} Give unto Jehovah, ye sons of the mighty ones, give unto Jehovah glory and strength; | 2 Ascribe to the LORD the glory due to His name; Worship the LORD in holy array. | 2 Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. | 2 Give to the LORD the glory his name deserves. Worship the LORD in [his] holy splendor. | 2 Ascribe to Yahweh the glory due to his name. Worship Yahweh in holy array. | 2 Give unto Jehovah the glory of his name; worship Jehovah in holy splendour. | 3 The voice of the LORD is upon the waters; The God of glory thunders, The LORD is over many waters. | 3 The voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the LORD is upon many waters. | 3 The voice of the LORD rolls over the water. The God of glory thunders. The LORD shouts over raging water. | 3 Yahweh's voice is on the waters. Yahweh's voice is full of majesty. | 4 The voice of Jehovah is powerful; the voice of Jehovah is full of majesty. | 5 The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars; Yes, the LORD breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon. | 5 The voice of the LORD breaketh the cedars; yea, the LORD breaketh the cedars of Lebanon. | 5 The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars. The LORD splinters the cedars of Lebanon. | 5 The voice of Yahweh breaks the cedars. The LORD makes the wilderness of Kadesh tremble. | 8 Yahweh's voice shakes the wilderness. Yahweh shakes the wilderness of Kadesh. | 8 The voice of Jehovah shaketh the wilderness; Jehovah shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh. | 9 The voice of the LORD makes the deer to calve And strips the forests bare; And in His temple everything says, "Glory!" | 9 The voice of the LORD maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and in his temple doth every one speak of his glory. | 9 The voice of the LORD splits the oaks and strips [the trees of] the forests bare. Everyone in his temple is saying, "Glory!" | 9 Yahweh's voice makes the deer calve, and strips the forests bare. In his temple everything says, "Glory!" | 9 The voice of Jehovah maketh the hinds to calve, and layeth bare the forests; and in his temple doth every one say, Glory! | 10 The LORD sat as King at the flood; Yes, the LORD sits as King forever. | 10 The LORD sitteth upon the flood; yea, the LORD sitteth King for ever. | 10 The LORD sat enthroned over the flood. The LORD sits enthroned as king forever. | 10 Yahweh sat enthroned at the Flood.
