God Sustains His Servant.For the choir director. A Psalm of David.
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
1 For the choir director. A Psalm of David. I waited patiently for the LORD; And He inclined to me and heard my cry.1 I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.1 [For the choir director; a psalm by David.] I waited patiently for the LORD. He turned to me and heard my cry for help.1 I waited patiently for Yahweh. He turned to me, and heard my cry.1 {To the chief Musician. Of David. A Psalm.} I waited patiently for Jehovah; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.
2 He brought me up out of the pit of destruction, out of the miry clay, And He set my feet upon a rock making my footsteps firm.2 He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.2 He pulled me out of a horrible pit, out of the mud and clay. He set my feet on a rock and made my steps secure.2 He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay. He set my feet on a rock, and gave me a firm place to stand.2 And he brought me up out of the pit of destruction, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock; he hath established my goings:
3 He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God; Many will see and fear And will trust in the LORD.3 And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.3 He placed a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many will see this and worship. They will trust the LORD.3 He has put a new song in my mouth, even praise to our God. Many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in Yahweh.3 And he hath put a new song in my mouth, praise unto our God. Many shall see it, and fear, and shall confide in Jehovah.
4 How blessed is the man who has made the LORD his trust, And has not turned to the proud, nor to those who lapse into falsehood.4 Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.4 Blessed is the person who places his confidence in the LORD and does not rely on arrogant people or those who follow lies.4 Blessed is the man who makes Yahweh his trust, and doesn't respect the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.4 Blessed is the man that hath made Jehovah his confidence, and turneth not to the proud, and to such as turn aside to lies.
5 Many, O LORD my God, are the wonders which You have done, And Your thoughts toward us; There is none to compare with You. If I would declare and speak of them, They would be too numerous to count.5 Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.5 You have done many miraculous things, O LORD my God. You have made many wonderful plans for us. No one compares to you! I will tell others about your miracles, which are more than I can count.5 Many, Yahweh, my God, are the wonderful works which you have done, and your thoughts which are toward us. They can't be declared back to you. If I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.5 Thou, O Jehovah my God, hast multiplied thy marvellous works, and thy thoughts toward us: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee; would I declare and speak them, they are more than can be numbered.
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
6 Sacrifice and meal offering You have not desired; My ears You have opened; Burnt offering and sin offering You have not required.6 Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required.6 You were not pleased with sacrifices and offerings. You have dug out two ears for me. You did not ask for burnt offerings or sacrifices for sin. 6 Sacrifice and offering you didn't desire. You have opened my ears. You have not required burnt offering and sin offering.6 Sacrifice and oblation thou didst not desire: ears hast thou prepared me. Burnt-offering and sin-offering hast thou not demanded;
7 Then I said, "Behold, I come; In the scroll of the book it is written of me.7 Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,7 Then I said, "I have come! (It is written about me in the scroll of the book.)7 Then I said, "Behold, I have come. It is written about me in the book in the scroll.7 Then said I, Behold, I come, in the volume of the book it is written of me --
8 I delight to do Your will, O my God; Your Law is within my heart."8 I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.8 I am happy to do your will, O my God." Your teachings are deep within me.8 I delight to do your will, my God. Yes, your law is within my heart."8 To do thy good pleasure, my God, is my delight, and thy law is within my heart.
9 I have proclaimed glad tidings of righteousness in the great congregation; Behold, I will not restrain my lips, O LORD, You know.9 I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: lo, I have not refrained my lips, O LORD, thou knowest.9 I will announce the good news of righteousness among those assembled for worship. I will not close my lips. You know that, O LORD.9 I have proclaimed glad news of righteousness in the great assembly. Behold, I will not seal my lips, Yahweh, you know.9 I have published righteousness in the great congregation: behold, I have not withheld my lips, Jehovah, thou knowest.
10 I have not hidden Your righteousness within my heart; I have spoken of Your faithfulness and Your salvation; I have not concealed Your lovingkindness and Your truth from the great congregation.10 I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation: I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great congregation.10 I have not buried your righteousness deep in my heart. I have been outspoken about your faithfulness and your salvation. I have not hidden your mercy and your truth from those assembled for worship.10 I have not hidden your righteousness within my heart. I have declared your faithfulness and your salvation. I have not concealed your loving kindness and your truth from the great assembly.10 I have not hidden thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation: I have not concealed thy loving-kindness and thy truth from the great congregation.
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
11 You, O LORD, will not withhold Your compassion from me; Your lovingkindness and Your truth will continually preserve me.11 Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O LORD: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me.11 Do not withhold your compassion from me, O LORD. May your mercy and your truth always protect me.11 Don't withhold your tender mercies from me, Yahweh. Let your loving kindness and your truth continually preserve me.11 Withhold not thou, Jehovah, thy tender mercies from me; let thy loving-kindness and thy truth continually preserve me.
12 For evils beyond number have surrounded me; My iniquities have overtaken me, so that I am not able to see; They are more numerous than the hairs of my head, And my heart has failed me.12 For innumerable evils have compassed me about: mine iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of mine head: therefore my heart faileth me.12 Countless evils have surrounded me. My sins have caught up with me so that I can no longer see. They outnumber the hairs on my head. I have lost heart.12 For innumerable evils have surrounded me. My iniquities have overtaken me, so that I am not able to look up. They are more than the hairs of my head. My heart has failed me.12 For innumerable evils have compassed me about: mine iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I cannot see; they are more than the hairs of my head: and my heart hath failed me.
13 Be pleased, O LORD, to deliver me; Make haste, O LORD, to help me.13 Be pleased, O LORD, to deliver me: O LORD, make haste to help me.13 O LORD, please rescue me! Come quickly to help me, O LORD! 13 Be pleased, Yahweh, to deliver me. Hurry to help me, Yahweh.13 Be pleased, O Jehovah, to deliver me; Jehovah, make haste to my help.
14 Let those be ashamed and humiliated together Who seek my life to destroy it; Let those be turned back and dishonored Who delight in my hurt.14 Let them be ashamed and confounded together that seek after my soul to destroy it; let them be driven backward and put to shame that wish me evil.14 Let all those who seek to end my life be confused and put to shame. Let those who want my downfall be turned back and disgraced.14 Let them be disappointed and confounded together who seek after my soul to destroy it. Let them be turned backward and brought to dishonor who delight in my hurt.14 Let them be ashamed and brought to confusion together that seek after my soul to destroy it; let them be turned backward and confounded that take pleasure in mine adversity;
15 Let those be appalled because of their shame Who say to me, "Aha, aha!"15 Let them be desolate for a reward of their shame that say unto me, Aha, aha.15 Let those who say to me, "Aha! Aha!" be stunned by their own shame.15 Let them be desolate by reason of their shame that tell me, "Aha! Aha!"15 Let them be desolate, because of their shame, that say unto me, Aha! Aha!
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
16 Let all who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; Let those who love Your salvation say continually, "The LORD be magnified!"16 Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation say continually, The LORD be magnified.16 Let all who seek you rejoice and be glad because of you. Let those who love your salvation continually say, "The LORD is great!"16 Let all those who seek you rejoice and be glad in you. Let such as love your salvation say continually, "Let Yahweh be exalted!"16 Let all those that seek thee be glad and rejoice in thee; let such as love thy salvation say continually, Jehovah be magnified!
17 Since I am afflicted and needy, Let the Lord be mindful of me. You are my help and my deliverer; Do not delay, O my God.17 But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God.17 But I am oppressed and needy. May the Lord think of me. You are my help and my savior. O my God, do not delay!17 But I am poor and needy. May the Lord think about me. You are my help and my deliverer. Don't delay, my God. For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by David.17 But I am afflicted and needy: the Lord thinketh upon me. Thou art my help and my deliverer: my God, make no delay.
