NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
For the choir director; with stringed instruments, upon an eight-string lyre. A Psalm of David. O LORD, do not rebuke me in Your anger, Nor chasten me in Your wrath.1 O LORD, rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.1 [For the choir director; with stringed instruments, on the [sheminith]; a psalm by David.] O LORD, do not punish me in your anger or discipline me in your rage. 1 Yahweh, don't rebuke me in your anger, neither discipline me in your wrath.1 {To the chief Musician. On stringed instruments, upon Sheminith. A Psalm of David.} Jehovah, rebuke me not in thine anger, and chasten me not in thy hot displeasure.
Be gracious to me, O LORD, for I am pining away; Heal me, O LORD, for my bones are dismayed.2 Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I am weak: O LORD, heal me; for my bones are vexed.2 Have pity on me, O LORD, because I am weak. Heal me, O LORD, because my bones shake with terror.2 Have mercy on me, Yahweh, for I am faint. Yahweh, heal me, for my bones are troubled.2 Be gracious unto me, Jehovah, for I am withered; Jehovah, heal me, for my bones tremble.
And my soul is greatly dismayed; But You, O LORD-- how long?3 My soul is also sore vexed: but thou, O LORD, how long?3 My soul has been deeply shaken with terror. But you, O LORD, how long...?3 My soul is also in great anguish. But you, Yahweh--how long?3 And my soul trembleth exceedingly: and thou, Jehovah, till how long?
Return, O LORD, rescue my soul; Save me because of Your lovingkindness.4 Return, O LORD, deliver my soul: oh save me for thy mercies' sake.4 Come back, O LORD. Rescue me. Save me because of your mercy!4 Return, Yahweh. Deliver my soul, and save me for your loving kindness' sake.4 Return, Jehovah, free my soul; save me for thy loving-kindness' sake.
For there is no mention of You in death; In Sheol who will give You thanks?5 For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks?5 In death, no one remembers you. In the grave, who praises you?5 For in death there is no memory of you. In Sheol, who shall give you thanks?5 For in death there is no remembrance of thee; in Sheol who shall give thanks unto thee?
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
I am weary with my sighing; Every night I make my bed swim, I dissolve my couch with my tears.6 I am weary with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears.6 I am worn out from my groaning. My eyes flood my bed every night. I soak my couch with tears.6 I am weary with my groaning. Every night I flood my bed. I drench my couch with my tears.6 I am wearied with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim; I dissolve my couch with my tears.
My eye has wasted away with grief; It has become old because of all my adversaries.7 Mine eye is consumed because of grief; it waxeth old because of all mine enemies.7 My eyes blur from grief. They fail because of my enemies.7 My eye wastes away because of grief. It grows old because of all my adversaries.7 Mine eye wasteth away through grief; it hath grown old because of all mine oppressors.
Depart from me, all you who do iniquity, For the LORD has heard the voice of my weeping.8 Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the LORD hath heard the voice of my weeping.8 Get away from me, all you troublemakers, because the LORD has heard the sound of my crying.8 Depart from me, all you workers of iniquity, for Yahweh has heard the voice of my weeping.8 Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for Jehovah hath heard the voice of my weeping.
The LORD has heard my supplication, The LORD receives my prayer.9 The LORD hath heard my supplication; the LORD will receive my prayer.9 The LORD has heard my plea for mercy. The LORD accepts my prayer.9 Yahweh has heard my supplication. Yahweh accepts my prayer.9 Jehovah hath heard my supplication; Jehovah receiveth my prayer.
All my enemies will be ashamed and greatly dismayed; They shall turn back, they will suddenly be ashamed.10 Let all mine enemies be ashamed and sore vexed: let them return and be ashamed suddenly.10 All my enemies will be put to shame and deeply shaken with terror. In a moment they will retreat and be put to shame.10 May all my enemies be ashamed and dismayed. They shall turn back, they shall be disgraced suddenly. A meditation by David, which he sang to Yahweh, concerning the words of Cush, the Benjamite.10 All mine enemies shall be ashamed and tremble exceedingly; they will turn, they will be ashamed suddenly.
