For the choir director; on a stringed instrument. A Psalm of David. Hear my cry, O God; Give heed to my prayer.1 Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer.1 [For the choir director; on a stringed instrument; by David.] Listen to my cry for help, O God. Pay attention to my prayer.1 Hear my cry, God. Listen to my prayer.1 {To the chief Musician. On a stringed instrument. A Psalm of David.} Hear, O God, my cry; attend unto my prayer.
From the end of the earth I call to You when my heart is faint; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.2 From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.2 From the ends of the earth, I call to you when I begin to lose heart. Lead me to the rock that is high above me.2 From the end of the earth, I will call to you, when my heart is overwhelmed. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.2 From the end of the earth will I call unto thee, when my eart is overwhelmed: thou wilt lead me on to a rock which is too high for me.
For You have been a refuge for me, A tower of strength against the enemy.3 For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.3 You have been my refuge, a tower of strength against the enemy.3 For you have been a refuge for me, a strong tower from the enemy.3 For thou hast been a refuge for me, a strong tower from before the enemy.
Let me dwell in Your tent forever; Let me take refuge in the shelter of Your wings. Selah.4 I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah.4 I would like to be a guest in your tent forever and to take refuge under the protection of your wings. [Selah]4 I will dwell in your tent forever. I will take refuge in the shelter of your wings. Selah.4 I will sojourn in thy tent for ever; I will take refuge in the covert of thy wings. Selah.
For You have heard my vows, O God; You have given me the inheritance of those who fear Your name.5 For thou, O God, hast heard my vows: thou hast given me the heritage of those that fear thy name.5 O God, you have heard my vows. You have given me the inheritance that belongs to those who fear your name.5 For you, God, have heard my vows. You have given me the heritage of those who fear your name.5 For thou, O God, hast heard my vows; thou hast given me the inheritance of those that fear thy name.

You will prolong the king's life; His years will be as many generations.6 Thou wilt prolong the king's life: and his years as many generations.6 Add days upon days to the life of the king. May his years endure throughout every generation.6 You will prolong the king's life; his years shall be for generations.6 Thou wilt add days to the days of the king: his years shall be as many generations.
He will abide before God forever; Appoint lovingkindness and truth that they may preserve him.7 He shall abide before God for ever: O prepare mercy and truth, which may preserve him.7 May he sit enthroned in the presence of God forever. May mercy and truth protect him.7 He shall be enthroned in God's presence forever. Appoint your loving kindness and truth, that they may preserve him.7 He shall abide before God for ever: bestow loving-kindness and truth, that they may preserve him.
So I will sing praise to Your name forever, That I may pay my vows day by day.8 So will I sing praise unto thy name for ever, that I may daily perform my vows.8 Then I will make music to praise your name forever, as I keep my vows day after day.8 So I will sing praise to your name forever, that I may fulfill my vows daily. For the Chief Musician. To Jeduthan. A Psalm by David.8 So will I sing forth thy name for ever, performing my vows from day to day.
