O LORD, the God of my salvation, I have cried out by day and in the night before You. | 1 O lord God of my salvation, I have cried day and night before thee: | 1 [A song; a psalm by Korah's descendants; for the choir director; according to [mahalath leannoth]; a [maskil] by Heman the Ezrahite.] O LORD God, my savior, I cry out to you during the day and at night. | 1 Yahweh, the God of my salvation, I have cried day and night before you. | 1 {A Song, a Psalm for the sons of Korah. Of Heman the Ezrahite.} Jehovah, God of my salvation, I have cried by day and in the night before thee. | 2 Let my prayer come before You; Incline Your ear to my cry! | 2 Let my prayer come before thee: incline thine ear unto my cry; | 2 Let my prayer come into your presence. Turn your ear to hear my cries. | 2 Let my prayer enter into your presence. All day long I call out to you, O LORD. I stretch out my hands to you [in prayer]. | 9 My eyes are dim from grief. I have called on you daily, Yahweh. I have spread out my hands to you. | 9 Mine eye consumeth by reason of affliction. Upon thee, Jehovah, have I called every day; I have stretched out my hands unto thee. | 10 Will You perform wonders for the dead? Will the departed spirits rise and praise You? Selah. | 10 Wilt thou shew wonders to the dead? shall the dead arise and praise thee? Selah. | 10 Will you perform miracles for those who are dead? | 11 Will Your lovingkindness be declared in the grave, Your faithfulness in Abaddon? | 11 Shall thy lovingkindness be declared in the grave? or thy faithfulness in destruction? | 11 Will anyone tell about your mercy in Sheol or about your faithfulness in Abaddon? | 11 Is your loving kindness declared in the grave? Or your faithfulness in Destruction? | 11 Shall thy loving-kindness be declared in the grave? thy faithfulness in Destruction? | 12 Will Your wonders be made known in the darkness? And Your righteousness in the land of forgetfulness? | 12 Shall thy wonders be known in the dark? and thy righteousness in the land of forgetfulness? | 12 Will anyone know about your miracles in that dark place or about your righteousness in the place where forgotten people live? | 12 Are your wonders made known in the dark?
