Moses on Sinai
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
In the third month after the sons of Israel had gone out of the land of Egypt, on that very day they came into the wilderness of Sinai.1 In the third month, when the children of Israel were gone forth out of the land of Egypt, the same day came they into the wilderness of Sinai.1 Two months after the Israelites left Egypt, they came to the desert of Sinai.1 In the third month after the children of Israel had gone forth out of the land of Egypt, on that same day they came into the wilderness of Sinai.1 In the third month after the departure of the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt, the same day came they into the wilderness of Sinai:
When they set out from Rephidim, they came to the wilderness of Sinai and camped in the wilderness; and there Israel camped in front of the mountain.2 For they were departed from Rephidim, and were come to the desert of Sinai, and had pitched in the wilderness; and there Israel camped before the mount.2 Israel had moved from Rephidim and had come into the desert of Sinai. They had set up camp there in front of the mountain.2 When they had departed from Rephidim, and had come to the wilderness of Sinai, they encamped in the wilderness; and there Israel encamped before the mountain.2 they departed from Rephidim, and came into the wilderness of Sinai, and encamped in the wilderness; and Israel encamped there before the mountain.
Moses went up to God, and the LORD called to him from the mountain, saying, "Thus you shall say to the house of Jacob and tell the sons of Israel:3 And Moses went up unto God, and the LORD called unto him out of the mountain, saying, Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel;3 Then Moses went up the mountain to God, and the LORD called to him from the mountain, "This is what you must say to the descendants of Jacob. Tell the Israelites,3 Moses went up to God, and Yahweh called to him out of the mountain, saying, "This is what you shall tell the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel:3 And Moses went up to God, and Jehovah called to him out of the mountain, saying, Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel:
You yourselves have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles' wings, and brought you to Myself.4 Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself.4 'You have seen for yourselves what I did to Egypt and how I carried you on eagles' wings and brought you to my mountain.4 'You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles' wings, and brought you to myself.4 Ye have seen what I have done to the Egyptians, and how I have borne you on eagles' wings and brought you to myself.
'Now then, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be My own possession among all the peoples, for all the earth is Mine;5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:5 If you carefully obey me and are faithful to the terms of my promise, then out of all the nations you will be my own special possession, even though the whole world is mine. 5 Now therefore, if you will indeed obey my voice, and keep my covenant, then you shall be my own possession from among all peoples; for all the earth is mine;5 And now, if ye will hearken to my voice indeed and keep my covenant, then shall ye be my own possession out of all the peoples for all the earth is mine --

and you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.' These are the words that you shall speak to the sons of Israel."6 And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.6 You will be my kingdom of priests and my holy nation.' These are the words you must speak to the Israelites."6 and you shall be to me a kingdom of priests, and a holy nation.' These are the words which you shall speak to the children of Israel."6 and ye shall be to me a kingdom of priests, and a holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak to the children of Israel.
So Moses came and called the elders of the people, and set before them all these words which the LORD had commanded him.7 And Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and laid before their faces all these words which the LORD commanded him.7 So Moses went down and called for the leaders of the people. He repeated to them all the words that the LORD had commanded him.7 Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and set before them all these words which Yahweh commanded him.7 And Moses came and called the elders of the people, and laid before the mall these words which Jehovah had commanded him.
All the people answered together and said, "All that the LORD has spoken we will do!" And Moses brought back the words of the people to the LORD.8 And all the people answered together, and said, All that the LORD hath spoken we will do. And Moses returned the words of the people unto the LORD.8 All the people answered together, "We will do everything the LORD has said." So Moses brought their answer back to the LORD.8 All the people answered together, and said, "All that Yahweh has spoken we will do." Moses reported the words of the people to Yahweh.8 And all the people answered together, and said, All that Jehovah has spoken will we do! And Moses brought the words of the people back to Jehovah.
The LORD said to Moses, "Behold, I will come to you in a thick cloud, so that the people may hear when I speak with you and may also believe in you forever." Then Moses told the words of the people to the LORD.9 And the LORD said unto Moses, Lo, I come unto thee in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with thee, and believe thee for ever. And Moses told the words of the people unto the LORD.9 The LORD said to Moses, "I am coming to you in a storm cloud so that the people will hear me speaking with you and will always believe you." Moses told the LORD what the people had said.9 Yahweh said to Moses, "Behold, I come to you in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with you, and may also believe you forever." Moses told the words of the people to Yahweh.9 And Jehovah said to Moses, Lo, I will come to thee in the cloud's thick darkness, that the people may hear when I speak with thee, and believe thee also for ever. And Moses told the words of the people to Jehovah.
 The LORD also said to Moses, "Go to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their garments;10 And the LORD said unto Moses, Go unto the people, and sanctify them to day and to morrow, and let them wash their clothes,10 So the LORD said to Moses, "Go to the people, and tell them they have two days to get ready. They must set themselves apart as holy. Have them wash their clothes10 Yahweh said to Moses, "Go to the people, and sanctify them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their garments,10 And Jehovah said to Moses, Go to the people, and hallow them to-day and to-morrow, and let them wash their clothes;

and let them be ready for the third day, for on the third day the LORD will come down on Mount Sinai in the sight of all the people.11 And be ready against the third day: for the third day the LORD will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai.11 and be ready by the day after tomorrow. On that day the LORD will come down on Mount Sinai as all the people watch.11 and be ready against the third day; for on the third day Yahweh will come down in the sight of all the people on Mount Sinai.11 and let them be ready for the third day; for on the third day Jehovah will come down before the eyes of all the people on mount Sinai.
"You shall set bounds for the people all around, saying, 'Beware that you do not go up on the mountain or touch the border of it; whoever touches the mountain shall surely be put to death.12 And thou shalt set bounds unto the people round about, saying, Take heed to yourselves, that ye go not up into the mount, or touch the border of it: whosoever toucheth the mount shall be surely put to death:12 Mark off a boundary around the mountain for the people, and tell them not to go up the mountain or even touch it. Those who touch the mountain must be put to death.12 You shall set bounds to the people all around, saying, 'Be careful that you don't go up onto the mountain, or touch its border. Whoever touches the mountain shall be surely put to death.12 And set bounds round about the people, saying, Take heed to yourselves, not to go up unto the mountain nor touch the border of it: whatever toucheth the mountain shall certainly be put to death:
'No hand shall touch him, but he shall surely be stoned or shot through; whether beast or man, he shall not live.' When the ram's horn sounds a long blast, they shall come up to the mountain."13 There shall not an hand touch it, but he shall surely be stoned, or shot through; whether it be beast or man, it shall not live: when the trumpet soundeth long, they shall come up to the mount.13 No one should touch them. They must be stoned or shot with arrows. No matter whether it's an animal or a person, it must not live. The people may go up the mountain [only] when the ram's horn sounds a long blast."13 No hand shall touch him, but he shall surely be stoned or shot through; whether it is animal or man, he shall not live.' When the trumpet sounds long, they shall come up to the mountain."13 not a hand shall touch it, but it shall certainly be stoned, or shot through; whether it be a beast or a man, it shall not live. When the long drawn note of the trumpet soundeth, they shall come up to the mountain.
So Moses went down from the mountain to the people and consecrated the people, and they washed their garments.14 And Moses went down from the mount unto the people, and sanctified the people; and they washed their clothes.14 After Moses went down the mountain to the people, he had them get ready, and they washed their clothes.14 Moses went down from the mountain to the people, and sanctified the people; and they washed their clothes.14 And Moses came down from the mountain to the people, and hallowed the people; and they washed their clothes.
He said to the people, "Be ready for the third day; do not go near a woman."15 And he said unto the people, Be ready against the third day: come not at your wives.15 Then Moses said to the people, "Be ready two days from now. Don't disqualify yourselves by having sexual intercourse."15 He said to the people, "Be ready by the third day. Don't have sexual relations with a woman."15 And he said to the people, Be ready for the third day; do not come near your wives.
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
So it came about on the third day, when it was morning, that there were thunder and lightning flashes and a thick cloud upon the mountain and a very loud trumpet sound, so that all the people who were in the camp trembled.16 And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that was in the camp trembled.16 On the morning of the second day, there was thunder and lightning with a heavy cloud over the mountain, and a very loud blast from a ram's horn [was heard]. All the people in the camp shook with fear.16 It happened on the third day, when it was morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud on the mountain, and the sound of an exceedingly loud trumpet; and all the people who were in the camp trembled.16 And it came to pass on the third day, when it was morning, that there were thunders and lightnings and a heavy cloud on the mountain, and the sound of the trumpet exceeding loud; and the whole people that was in the camp trembled.
And Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet God, and they stood at the foot of the mountain.17 And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet with God; and they stood at the nether part of the mount.17 Then Moses led the people out of the camp to meet with God, and they stood at the foot of the mountain.17 Moses led the people out of the camp to meet God; and they stood at the lower part of the mountain.17 And Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet with God; and they stood at the foot of the mountain.
The LORD Visits Sinai
Now Mount Sinai was all in smoke because the LORD descended upon it in fire; and its smoke ascended like the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mountain quaked violently.18 And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the LORD descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly.18 All of Mount Sinai was covered with smoke because the LORD had come down on it in fire. Smoke rose from the mountain like the smoke from a kiln, and the whole mountain shook violently.18 Mount Sinai, all it, smoked, because Yahweh descended on it in fire; and its smoke ascended like the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mountain quaked greatly.18 And the whole of mount Sinai smoked, because Jehovah descended on it in fire; and its smoke ascended as the smoke of a furnace; and the whole mountain shook greatly.
When the sound of the trumpet grew louder and louder, Moses spoke and God answered him with thunder.19 And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and waxed louder and louder, Moses spake, and God answered him by a voice.19 As the sound of the horn grew louder and louder, Moses was speaking, and the voice of God answered him.19 When the sound of the trumpet grew louder and louder, Moses spoke, and God answered him by a voice.19 And the sound of the trumpet increased and became exceeding loud; Moses spoke, and God answered him by a voice.
The LORD came down on Mount Sinai, to the top of the mountain; and the LORD called Moses to the top of the mountain, and Moses went up.20 And the LORD came down upon mount Sinai, on the top of the mount: and the LORD called Moses up to the top of the mount; and Moses went up.20 The LORD came down on top of Mount Sinai and called Moses to the top of the mountain. So Moses went up.20 Yahweh came down on Mount Sinai, to the top of the mountain. Yahweh called Moses to the top of the mountain, and Moses went up.20 And Jehovah came down on mount Sinai, on the top of the mountain; and Jehovah called Moses to the top of the mountain, and Moses went up.
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
Then the LORD spoke to Moses, "Go down, warn the people, so that they do not break through to the LORD to gaze, and many of them perish.21 And the LORD said unto Moses, Go down, charge the people, lest they break through unto the LORD to gaze, and many of them perish.21 The LORD said to him, "Go down and warn the people not to force their way through [the boundary] to see the LORD, or many of them will die.21 Yahweh said to Moses, "Go down, warn the people, lest they break through to Yahweh to gaze, and many of them perish.21 And Jehovah said to Moses, Go down, testify to the people that they break not through to Jehovah to gaze, and many of them perish.
"Also let the priests who come near to the LORD consecrate themselves, or else the LORD will break out against them."22 And let the priests also, which come near to the LORD, sanctify themselves, lest the LORD break forth upon them.22 Even the priests who are allowed to come near the LORD must set themselves apart as holy, or the LORD will violently kill them."22 Let the priests also, who come near to Yahweh, sanctify themselves, lest Yahweh break forth on them."22 And the priests also, who come near to Jehovah, shall hallow themselves, lest Jehovah break forth on them.
Moses said to the LORD, "The people cannot come up to Mount Sinai, for You warned us, saying, 'Set bounds about the mountain and consecrate it.'"23 And Moses said unto the LORD, The people cannot come up to mount Sinai: for thou chargedst us, saying, Set bounds about the mount, and sanctify it.23 Moses said to the LORD, "The people can't come up Mount Sinai, because you warned us yourself to mark off a boundary around the mountain and consider it holy."23 Moses said to Yahweh, "The people can't come up to Mount Sinai, for you warned us, saying, 'Set bounds around the mountain, and sanctify it.'"23 And Moses said to Jehovah, The people cannot come up to mount Sinai; for thou hast testified to us, saying, Set bounds about the mountain, and hallow it.
Then the LORD said to him, "Go down and come up again, you and Aaron with you; but do not let the priests and the people break through to come up to the LORD, or He will break forth upon them."24 And the LORD said unto him, Away, get thee down, and thou shalt come up, thou, and Aaron with thee: but let not the priests and the people break through to come up unto the LORD, lest he break forth upon them.24 The LORD said to him, "Go down, and bring Aaron back with you. But the priests and the people must not force their way through the boundary to come up to the LORD, or he will violently kill them."24 Yahweh said to him, "Go down and you shall bring Aaron up with you, but don't let the priests and the people break through to come up to Yahweh, lest he break forth on them."24 And Jehovah said to him, Go, descend, and thou shalt come up, thou, and Aaron with thee; but the priests and the people shall not break through to go up to Jehovah, lest he break forth on them.
So Moses went down to the people and told them.25 So Moses went down unto the people, and spake unto them.25 So Moses went down to the people and told them.25 So Moses went down to the people, and told them.25 So Moses went down to the people, and told them.
