2 "Tell the sons of Israel to raise a contribution for Me; from every man whose heart moves him you shall raise My contribution.2 Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring me an offering: of every man that giveth it willingly with his heart ye shall take my offering.2 "Tell the Israelites to choose something to give me as a special contribution. You must accept whatever contribution each person freely gives.2 "Speak to the children of Israel, that they take an offering for me. From everyone whose heart makes him willing you shall take my offering.2 Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring me a heave-offering: of every one whose heart prompteth him, ye shall take my heave-offering.
3 "This is the contribution which you are to raise from them: gold, silver and bronze,3 And this is the offering which ye shall take of them; gold, and silver, and brass,3 This is the kind of contribution you will accept from them: gold, silver, and bronze,3 This is the offering which you shall take from them: gold, silver, brass,3 And this is the heave-offering that ye shall take of them: gold, and silver, and copper,
4 blue, purple and scarlet material, fine linen, goat hair,4 And blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats' hair,4 violet, purple, and bright red yarn, fine linen, goats' hair,4 blue, purple, scarlet, fine linen, goats' hair,4 and blue, and purple, and scarlet, and byssus, and goats' hair,
5 rams' skins dyed red, porpoise skins, acacia wood,5 And rams' skins dyed red, and badgers' skins, and shittim wood,5 rams' skins dyed red, fine leather, acacia wood, 5 rams' skins dyed red, sea cow hides, acacia wood,5 and rams' skins dyed red, and badgers' skins; and acacia-wood;

6 oil for lighting, spices for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense,6 Oil for the light, spices for anointing oil, and for sweet incense,6 olive oil for the lamps, spices for the anointing oil and for the sweet-smelling incense,6 oil for the light, spices for the anointing oil and for the sweet incense,6 oil for the light; spices for the anointing oil, and for the incense of fragrant drugs;

Ark of the Covenant
10 "They shall construct an ark of acacia wood two and a half cubits long, and one and a half cubits wide, and one and a half cubits high.10 And they shall make an ark of shittim wood: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.10 "Make an ark of acacia wood 45 inches long, 27 inches wide, and 27 inches high.10 "They shall make an ark of acacia wood. Its length shall be two and a half cubits, its breadth a cubit and a half, and a cubit and a half its height.10 And they shall make an ark of acacia-wood; two cubits and a half the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.

11 "You shall overlay it with pure gold, inside and out you shall overlay it, and you shall make a gold molding around it.11 And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, within and without shalt thou overlay it, and shalt make upon it a crown of gold round about.11 Cover it with pure gold inside and out, and put a gold molding around it.11 You shall overlay it with pure gold. 18 "You shall make two cherubim of gold, make them of hammered work at the two ends of the mercy seat.18 And thou shalt make two cherubim of gold, of beaten work shalt thou make them, in the two ends of the mercy seat.18 Make two angels out of hammered gold for the two ends of the throne of mercy, 18 You shall make two cherubim of hammered gold. You shall make them at the two ends of the mercy seat.18 And thou shalt make two cherubim of gold; of beaten work shalt thou make them, at the two ends of the mercy-seat.
19 "Make one cherub at one end and one cherub at the other end; you shall make the cherubim of one piece with the mercy seat at its two ends.19 And make one cherub on the one end, and the other cherub on the other end: even of the mercy seat shall ye make the cherubim on the two ends thereof.19 one on each end. Form the angels and the throne of mercy out of one piece of gold.19 Make one cherub at the one end, and one cherub at the other end. 20 "The cherubim shall have their wings spread upward, covering the mercy seat with their wings and facing one another; the faces of the cherubim are to be turned toward the mercy seat.20 And the cherubim shall stretch forth their wings on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces shall look one to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubim be.20 The angels should have their wings spread above the throne of mercy, overshadowing it. They should face each other, looking at the throne of mercy.20 The cherubim shall spread out their wings upward, covering the mercy seat with their wings, with their faces toward one another. The faces of the cherubim shall be toward the mercy seat.20 And the cherubim shall stretch out their wings over it, covering over with their wings the mercy-seat, and their faces opposite to one another: toward the mercy-seat shall the faces of the cherubim be turned.

21 "You shall put the mercy seat on top of the ark, and in the ark you shall put the testimony which I will give to you.21 And thou shalt put the mercy seat above upon the ark; and in the ark thou shalt put the testimony that I shall give thee.21 After you put into the ark the words of my promise which I will give you, place the throne of mercy on top.21 You shall put the mercy seat on top of the ark, and in the ark you shall put the testimony that I will give you.21 And thou shalt put the mercy-seat above on the ark, and shalt put in the ark the testimony that I shall give thee.
22 "There I will meet with you; and from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubim which are upon the ark of the testimony, I will speak to you about all that I will give you in commandment for the sons of Israel.22 And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubim which are upon the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel.22 I will be above the throne of mercy between the angels whenever I meet with you and give you all my commands for the Israelites.22 There I will meet with you, and I will tell you from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubim which are on the ark of the testimony, all that I command you for the children of Israel.22 And there will I meet with thee, and will speak with thee from above the mercy-seat, from between the two cherubim which are upon the ark of the testimony, everything that I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel.
The Table of Showbread
23 "You shall make a table of acacia wood, two cubits long and one cubit wide and one and a half cubits high.23 Thou shalt also make a table of shittim wood: two cubits shall be the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.23 "Make a table of acacia wood 36 inches long, 18 inches wide, and 27 inches high.23 "You shall make a table of acacia wood. Two cubits shall be its length, and a cubit its breadth, and one and a half cubits its height.23 And thou shalt make a table of acacia-wood, two cubits the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.
24 "You shall overlay it with pure gold and make a gold border around it.24 And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, and make thereto a crown of gold round about.24 Cover it with pure gold, and put a gold molding around it.24 You shall overlay it with pure gold, and make a gold molding around it.24 And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, and make upon it a border of gold round about.
25 "You shall make for it a rim of a handbreadth around it; and you shall make a gold border for the rim around it.25 And thou shalt make unto it a border of an hand breadth round about, and thou shalt make a golden crown to the border thereof round about.25 Make a rim three inches wide around it, and put a gold molding around the rim.25 You shall make a rim of a handbreadth around it. You shall make a golden molding on its rim around it.25 And thou shalt make for it a margin of a handbreadth round about, and shalt make a border of gold for the margin thereof round about.

26 "You shall make four gold rings for it and put rings on the four corners which are on its four feet.26 And thou shalt make for it four rings of gold, and put the rings in the four corners that are on the four feet thereof.26 Make four gold rings for it, and fasten them to the four corners, where the four legs are.26 You shall make four rings of gold for it, and put the rings in the four corners that are on its four feet.26 And thou shalt make for it four rings of gold, and put the rings at the four corners that are on the four feet thereof.

29 "You shall make its dishes and its pans and its jars and its bowls with which to pour drink offerings; you shall make them of pure gold.29 And thou shalt make the dishes thereof, and spoons thereof, and covers thereof, and bowls thereof, to cover withal: of pure gold shalt thou make them.29 Make plates and dishes for the table out of pure gold, as well as pitchers and bowls to be used for pouring wine offerings.29 You shall make its dishes, its spoons, its ladles, and its bowls to pour out offerings with. You shall make them of pure gold.29 And thou shalt make the dishes thereof, and cups thereof, and goblets thereof, and bowls thereof, with which to pour out: of pure gold shalt thou make them.
30 "You shall set the bread of the Presence on the table before Me at all times.30 And thou shalt set upon the table showbread before me always.30 Put the bread of the presence on this table so that it will be in front of me all the time.30 You shall set bread of the presence on the table before me always.30 And thou shalt set upon the table shewbread before me continually.
The Golden Lampstand

31 "Then you shall make a lampstand of pure gold. The lampstand and its base and its shaft are to be made of hammered work; its cups, its bulbs and its flowers shall be of one piece with it.31 And thou shalt make a candlestick of pure gold: of beaten work shall the candlestick be made: his shaft, and his branches, his bowls, his knops, and his flowers, shall be of the same.31 "Make a lamp stand out of pure gold. The lamp stand, its base, and its shaft, as well as the flower cups, buds, and petals must be hammered out of one piece of gold.31 "You shall make a lampstand of pure gold. Of hammered work shall the lampstand be made, even its base, its shaft, its cups, its buds, and its flowers, shall be of one piece with it.31 And thou shalt make a lamp-stand of pure gold; of beaten work shall the lamp-stand be made: its base and its shaft, its cups, its knobs, and its flowers shall be of the same.
32 "Six branches shall go out from its sides; three branches of the lampstand from its one side and three branches of the lampstand from its other side.32 And six branches shall come out of the sides of it; three branches of the candlestick out of the one side, and three branches of the candlestick out of the other side:32 Six branches are to come out of the sides, three branches on one side and three on the other.32 There shall be six branches going out of its sides: three branches of the lampstand out of its one side, and three branches of the lampstand out of its other side;32 And six branches shall come out of the sides thereof three branches of the lamp-stand out of one side thereof, and three branches of the lamp-stand out of the other side thereof;
33 "Three cups shall be shaped like almond blossoms in the one branch, a bulb and a flower, and three cups shaped like almond blossoms in the other branch, a bulb and a flower-- so for six branches going out from the lampstand;33 Three bowls made like unto almonds, with a knop and a flower in one branch; and three bowls made like almonds in the other branch, with a knop and a flower: so in the six branches that come out of the candlestick.33 Each of the six branches coming out of the lamp stand is to have three flower cups shaped like almond blossoms, with buds and petals.33 three cups made like almond blossoms in one branch, a bud and a flower; and three cups made like almond blossoms in the other branch, a bud and a flower, so for the six branches going out of the lampstand;33 three cups shaped like almonds in the one branch, a knob and a flower: and three cups shaped like almonds in the other branch, a knob and a flower: so in the six branches that come out of the lamp-stand.
34 and in the lampstand four cups shaped like almond blossoms, its bulbs and its flowers.34 And in the candlesticks shall be four bowls made like unto almonds, with their knops and their flowers.34 The lamp stand itself is to have four flower cups shaped like almond blossoms, with buds and petals.34 and in the lampstand four cups made like almond blossoms, its buds and its flowers;34 And in the lamp-stand four cups shaped like almonds, its knobs and its flowers;
35 "A bulb shall be under the first pair of branches coming out of it, and a bulb under the second pair of branches coming out of it, and a bulb under the third pair of branches coming out of it, for the six branches coming out of the lampstand.35 And there shall be a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, according to the six branches that proceed out of the candlestick.35 There should be a bud under each of the three pairs of branches coming out of the lamp stand.35 and a bud under two branches of one piece with it, and a bud under two branches of one piece with it, and a bud under two branches of one piece with it, for the six branches going out of the lampstand.35 and a knob under two branches of it, and again a knob under two branches of it, and again a knob under two branches of it, for the six branches that proceed out of the lamp-stand.

36 "Their bulbs and their branches shall be of one piece with it; all of it shall be one piece of hammered work of pure gold.36 Their knops and their branches shall be of the same: all it shall be one beaten work of pure gold.36 The buds and branches should also be hammered out of the same piece of pure gold as the lamp stand.36 Their buds and their branches shall be of one piece with it, all of it one beaten work of pure gold.36 Their knobs and their branches shall be of itself all of one beaten work of pure gold.
37 "Then you shall make its lamps seven in number; and they shall mount its lamps so as to shed light on the space in front of it.37 And thou shalt make the seven lamps thereof: and they shall light the lamps thereof, that they may give light over against it.37 "Make seven lamps, and set them on the lamp stand so that they light up [the area] in front of it.37 You shall make its lamps seven, and they shall light its lamps to give light to the space in front of it.37 And thou shalt make the seven lamps thereof, and they shall light the lamps thereof, that they may shine out before it;
38 "Its snuffers and their trays shall be of pure gold.38 And the tongs thereof, and the snuffdishes thereof, shall be of pure gold.38 The tongs and incense burners must be made of pure gold.38 Its snuffers and its snuff dishes shall be of pure gold.38 and the snuffers thereof, and the snuff-trays thereof, of pure gold.
39 "It shall be made from a talent of pure gold, with all these utensils.39 Of a talent of pure gold shall he make it, with all these vessels.39 Use 75 pounds of pure gold to make the lamp stand and all the utensils.39 It shall be made of a talent of pure gold, with all these accessories.39 Of a talent of pure gold shall they make it, with all these utensils.
40 "See that you make them after the pattern for them, which was shown to you on the mountain.40 And look that thou make them after their pattern, which was showed thee in the mount.40 Be sure to make them according to the plans you were shown on the mountain."40 See that you make them after their pattern, which has been shown to you on the mountain.40 And see that thou make them according to their pattern, which hath been shewn to thee in the mountain.
