The Goal of Life
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
 Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things again is no trouble to me, and it is a safeguard for you.1 Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.1 Now then, brothers and sisters, be joyful in the Lord. It's no trouble for me to write the same things to you, and it's for your safety.1 Finally, my brothers, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not tiresome, but for you it is safe.1 For the rest, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord: to write the same things to you, to me is not irksome, and for you safe.
 Beware of the dogs, beware of the evil workers, beware of the false circumcision;2 Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision.2 Beware of dogs! Beware of those who do evil things. Beware of those who insist on circumcision.2 Beware of the dogs, beware of the evil workers, beware of the false circumcision.2 See to dogs, see to evil workmen, see to the concision.
 for we are the true circumcision, who worship in the Spirit of God and glory in Christ Jesus and put no confidence in the flesh,3 For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.3 We are the [true] circumcised people [of God] because we serve God's Spirit and take pride in Christ Jesus. We don't place any confidence in physical things,3 For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the Spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh;3 For we are the circumcision, who worship by the Spirit of God, and boast in Christ Jesus, and do not trust in flesh.
 although I myself might have confidence even in the flesh. If anyone else has a mind to put confidence in the flesh, I far more:4 Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more:4 although I could have confidence in my physical qualifications. If anyone else thinks that he can trust in something physical, I can claim even more.4 though I myself might have confidence even in the flesh. If any other man thinks that he has confidence in the flesh, I yet more:4 Though I have my trust even in flesh; if any other think to trust in flesh, I rather:
 circumcised the eighth day, of the nation of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; as to the Law, a Pharisee;5 Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee;5 I was circumcised on the eighth day. I'm a descendant of Israel. I'm from the tribe of Benjamin. I'm a pure-blooded Hebrew. When it comes to living up to standards, I was a Pharisee.5 circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; concerning the law, a Pharisee;5 as to circumcision, I received it the eighth day; of the race of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, Hebrew of Hebrews; as to the law, a Pharisee;

 as to zeal, a persecutor of the church; as to the righteousness which is in the Law, found blameless.6 Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.6 When it comes to being enthusiastic, I was a persecutor of the church. When it comes to winning God's approval by keeping Jewish laws, I was perfect.6 concerning zeal, persecuting the assembly; concerning the righteousness which is in the law, found blameless.6 as to zeal, persecuting the assembly; as to righteousness which is in the law, found blameless;
 But whatever things were gain to me, those things I have counted as loss for the sake of Christ.7 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.7 These things that I once considered valuable, I now consider worthless for Christ.7 However, what things were gain to me, these have I counted loss for Christ.7 but what things were gain to me these I counted, on account of Christ, loss.
 More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them but rubbish so that I may gain Christ,8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,8 It's far more than that! I consider everything else worthless because I'm much better off knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. It's because of him that I think of everything as worthless. I threw it all away in order to gain Christ8 Yes most certainly, and I count all things to be loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus, my Lord, for whom I suffered the loss of all things, and count them nothing but refuse, that I may gain Christ8 But surely I count also all things to be loss on account of the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, on account of whom I have suffered the loss of all, and count them to be filth, that I may gain Christ;
 and may be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own derived from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which comes from God on the basis of faith,9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:9 and to have a relationship with him. This means that I didn't receive God's approval by obeying his laws. The opposite is true! I have God's approval through faith in Christ. This is the approval that comes from God and is based on faith9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own, that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith;9 and that I may be found in him, not having my righteousness, which would be on the principle of law, but that which is by faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God through faith,
 that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death;10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;10 that knows Christ. Faith knows the power that his coming back to life gives and what it means to share his suffering. In this way I'm becoming like him in his death,10 that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming conformed to his death;10 to know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being conformed to his death,

 in order that I may attain to the resurrection from the dead.11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.11 with the confidence that I'll come back to life from the dead.11 if by any means I may attain to the resurrection from the dead.11 if any way I arrive at the resurrection from among the dead.
 Not that I have already obtained it or have already become perfect, but I press on so that I may lay hold of that for which also I was laid hold of by Christ Jesus.12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.12 It's not that I've already reached the goal or have already completed the course. But I run to win that which Jesus Christ has already won for me.12 Not that I have already obtained, or am already made perfect; but I press on, if it is so that I may take hold of that for which also I was taken hold of by Christ Jesus.12 Not that I have already obtained the prize, or am already perfected; but I pursue, if also I may get possession of it, seeing that also I have been taken possession of by Christ Jesus.
 Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead,13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,13 Brothers and sisters, I can't consider myself a winner yet. This is what I do: I don't look back, I lengthen my stride, and13 Brothers, I don't regard myself as yet having taken hold, but one thing I do. Forgetting the things which are behind, and stretching forward to the things which are before,13 Brethren, I do not count to have got possession myself; but one thing forgetting the things behind, and stretching out to the things before,
 I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.14 I run straight toward the goal to win the prize that God's heavenly call offers in Christ Jesus.14 I press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.14 I pursue, looking towards the goal, for the prize of the calling on high of God in Christ Jesus.
 Let us therefore, as many as are perfect, have this attitude; and if in anything you have a different attitude, God will reveal that also to you;15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.15 Whoever has a mature faith should think this way. And if you think differently, God will show you how to think.15 Let us therefore, as many as are perfect, think this way. If in anything you think otherwise, God will also reveal that to you.15 As many therefore as are perfect, let us be thus minded; and if ye are any otherwise minded, this also God shall reveal to you.

 however, let us keep living by that same standard to which we have attained.16 Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.16 However, we should be guided by what we have learned so far.16 Nevertheless, to the extent that we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule. Let us be of the same mind.16 But whereto we have attained, let us walk in the same steps.
 Brethren, join in following my example, and observe those who walk according to the pattern you have in us.17 Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.17 Brothers and sisters, imitate me, and pay attention to those who live by the example we have given you.17 Brothers, be imitators together of me, and note those who walk this way, even as you have us for an example.17 Be imitators all together of me, brethren, and fix your eyes on those walking thus as you have us for a model;
 For many walk, of whom I often told you, and now tell you even weeping, that they are enemies of the cross of Christ,18 (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:18 I have often told you, and now tell you with tears in my eyes, that many live as the enemies of the cross of Christ.18 For many walk, of whom I told you often, and now tell you even weeping, as the enemies of the cross of Christ,18 (for many walk of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:
 whose end is destruction, whose god is their appetite, and whose glory is in their shame, who set their minds on earthly things.19 Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)19 In the end they will be destroyed. Their own emotions are their god, and they take pride in the shameful things they do. Their minds are set on worldly things.19 whose end is destruction, whose god is the belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who think about earthly things.19 whose end is destruction, whose god is the belly, and their glory in their shame, who mind earthly things:)
 For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ;20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:20 We, however, are citizens of heaven. We look forward to the Lord Jesus Christ coming from heaven as our Savior.20 For our citizenship is in heaven, from where we also wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ;20 for our commonwealth has its existence in the heavens, from which also we await the Lord Jesus Christ as Saviour,

 who will transform the body of our humble state into conformity with the body of His glory, by the exertion of the power that He has even to subject all things to Himself.21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.21 Through his power to bring everything under his authority, he will change our humble bodies and make them like his glorified body.21 who will change the body of our humiliation to be conformed to the body of his glory, according to the working by which he is able even to subject all things to himself.21 who shall transform our body of humiliation into conformity to his body of glory, according to the working of the power which he has even to subdue all things to himself.
