| 1 A Song, a Psalm of David. My heart is steadfast, O God; I will sing, I will sing praises, even with my soul. | 1 O god, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory. | 1 [A song; a psalm by David.] My heart is confident, O God. | 11 Have not You Yourself, O God, rejected us? Isn't it you, O God, who refused to accompany our armies? | 11 Haven't you rejected us, God? You don't go forth, God, with our armies. | 11 Wilt not thou, O God, who didst cast us off? and didst not go forth, O God, with our armies? | 12 Oh give us help against the adversary, For deliverance by man is in vain. | 12 Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man. | 12 Give us help against the enemy because human assistance is worthless. | 12 Give us help against the enemy, for the help of man is vain. | 12 Give us help from trouble; for vain is man's deliverance. | 13 Through God we will do valiantly, And it is He who shall tread down our adversaries. | 13 Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies. | 13 With God we will display great strength.
