In my trouble I cried to the LORD, And He answered me. | 1 In my distress I cried unto the LORD, and he heard me. | 1 [A song for going up to worship.] When I was in trouble, I cried out to the LORD, and he answered me. | 1 In my distress, I cried to Yahweh. He answered me. | 1 {A Song of degrees.} In my trouble I called unto Jehovah, and he answered me. | 2 Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lying lips, From a deceitful tongue. | 2 Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue. | 2 O LORD, rescue me from lying lips and from a deceitful tongue. | 2 Deliver my soul, Yahweh, from lying lips, from a deceitful tongue. | 2 Jehovah, deliver my soul from the lying lip, from the deceitful tongue. | 3 What shall be given to you, and what more shall be done to you, You deceitful tongue? | 3 What shall be given unto thee? or what shall be done unto thee, thou false tongue? | 3 You deceitful tongue, what can the LORD give you?
