| 1 For the choir director. A Psalm of David. The fool has said in his heart, "There is no God." They are corrupt, they have committed abominable deeds; There is no one who does good. | 1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. | 1 [For the choir director; by David.] Godless fools say in their hearts, "There is no God." They are corrupt. They have corrupted themselves, they have done abominable works: there is none that doeth good. | 2 The LORD has looked down from heaven upon the sons of men To see if there are any who understand, Who seek after God. | 2 The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God. | 2 The LORD looks down from heaven on Adam's descendants to see if there is anyone who acts wisely, if there is anyone who seeks help from God. | 2 Yahweh looked down from heaven on the children of men, to see if there were any who did understand, who did seek after God. | 2 Jehovah looked down from the heavens upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God. | 3 They have all turned aside, together they have become corrupt; There is no one who does good, not even one. | 3 They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one. | 3 Everyone has turned away.
