The LORD the Psalmist’s Portion in Life and Deliverer in Death.A Mikhtam of David.
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
1 A Mikhtam of David. Preserve me, O God, for I take refuge in You.1 Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust.1 [A [miktam] by David.] Protect me, O God, because I take refuge in you. 1 Preserve me, God, for in you do I take refuge.1 {Michtam of David.} Preserve me, O God: for I trust in thee.
2 I said to the LORD, "You are my Lord; I have no good besides You."2 O my soul, thou hast said unto the LORD, Thou art my Lord: my goodness extendeth not to thee;2 I said to the LORD, "You are my Lord. Without you, I have nothing good."2 My soul, you have said to Yahweh, "You are my Lord. Apart from you I have no good thing."2 Thou my soul hast said to Jehovah, Thou art the Lord: my goodness extendeth not to thee; --
3 As for the saints who are in the earth, They are the majestic ones in whom is all my delight.3 But to the saints that are in the earth, and to the excellent, in whom is all my delight.3 Those who lead holy lives on earth are the noble ones who fill me with joy. 3 As for the saints who are in the earth, they are the excellent ones in whom is all my delight.3 To the saints that are on the earth, and to the excellent thou hast said, In them is all my delight.
4 The sorrows of those who have bartered for another god will be multiplied; I shall not pour out their drink offerings of blood, Nor will I take their names upon my lips.4 Their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another god: their drink offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take up their names into my lips.4 Those who quickly chase after other gods multiply their sorrows. I will not pour out their sacrificial offerings of blood or use my lips to speak their names.4 Their sorrows shall be multiplied who give gifts to another god. Their drink offerings of blood I will not offer, nor take their names on my lips.4 Their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another: their drink-offerings of blood will I not offer, and I will not take up their names into my lips.
5 The LORD is the portion of my inheritance and my cup; You support my lot.5 The LORD is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot.5 The LORD is my inheritance and my cup. You are the one who determines my destiny.5 Yahweh assigned my portion and my cup. You made my lot secure.5 Jehovah is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot.

6 The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places; Indeed, my heritage is beautiful to me.6 The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.6 Your boundary lines mark out pleasant places for me. Indeed, my inheritance is something beautiful.6 The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places. Yes, I have a good inheritance.6 The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.
7 I will bless the LORD who has counseled me; Indeed, my mind instructs me in the night.7 I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons.7 I will praise the LORD, who advises me. My conscience warns me at night.7 I will bless Yahweh, who has given me counsel. Yes, my heart instructs me in the night seasons.7 I will bless Jehovah, who giveth me counsel; even in the nights my reins instruct me.
8 I have set the LORD continually before me; Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.8 I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.8 I always keep the LORD in front of me. When he is by my side, I cannot be moved.8 I have set Yahweh always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.8 I have set Jehovah continually before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
9 Therefore my heart is glad and my glory rejoices; My flesh also will dwell securely.9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope.9 That is why my heart is glad and my soul rejoices. My body rests securely9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my tongue rejoices. My body shall also dwell in safety.9 Therefore my heart rejoiceth, and my glory exulteth; my flesh moreover shall dwell in hope.
10 For You will not abandon my soul to Sheol; Nor will You allow Your Holy One to undergo decay.10 For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.10 because you do not abandon my soul to the grave or allow your holy one to decay.10 For you will not leave my soul in Sheol, neither will you allow your holy one to see corruption.10 For thou wilt not leave my soul to Sheol, neither wilt thou allow thy Holy One to see corruption.
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
11 You will make known to me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; In Your right hand there are pleasures forever.11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.11 You make the path of life known to me. Complete joy is in your presence. Pleasures are by your side forever.11 You will show me the path of life. In your presence is fullness of joy. In your right hand there are pleasures forevermore. A Prayer by David.11 Thou wilt make known to me the path of life: thy countenance is fulness of joy; at thy right hand are pleasures for evermore.
