| 1 For the choir director. A Psalm of David. The heavens are telling of the glory of God; And their expanse is declaring the work of His hands. | 1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. | 1 [For the choir director; a psalm by David.] The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky displays what his hands have made. | 1 The heavens declare the glory of God. The expanse shows his handiwork. | 1 {To the chief Musician. A Psalm of David.} The heavens declare the glory of �God; and the expanse sheweth the work of his hands. | 2 Day to day pours forth speech, And night to night reveals knowledge. | 2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. | 2 One day tells a story to the next. One night shares knowledge with the next | 2 Day after day they pour forth speech, and night after night they display knowledge. | 2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. | 3 There is no speech, nor are there words; Their voice is not heard. | 3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. | 3 without talking, without words, without their voices being heard. | 3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. | 3 There is no speech and there are no words, yet their voice is heard. | 4 Their line has gone out through all the earth, And their utterances to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tent for the sun, | 5 Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber; It rejoices as a strong man to run his course. | 5 Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race. | 5 which comes out of its chamber like a bridegroom. | 6 Its rising is from one end of the heavens, And its circuit to the other end of them; And there is nothing hidden from its heat. | 6 His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof. | 6 It rises from one end of the heavens. They make the heart rejoice. The command of the LORD is radiant. It makes the eyes shine. | 8 Yahweh's precepts are right, rejoicing the heart. Yahweh's commandment is pure, enlightening the eyes. | 8 The precepts of Jehovah are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of Jehovah is pure, enlightening the eyes; | 9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the LORD are true; they are righteous altogether. | 9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. | 9 The fear of the LORD is pure. It endures forever. The decisions of the LORD are true. They are completely fair. | 9 The fear of Yahweh is clean, enduring forever. Yahweh's ordinances are true, and righteous altogether. | 9 The fear of Jehovah is clean, enduring for ever; the judgments of Jehovah are truth, they are righteous altogether: | 10 They are more desirable than gold, yes, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the drippings of the honeycomb. | 10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. | 10 They are more desirable than gold, even the finest gold.
