| 1 A Psalm of David. The earth is the LORD'S, and all it contains, The world, and those who dwell in it. | 1 The earth is the LORD's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. | 1 [A psalm by David.] The earth and everything it contains are the LORD's. The world and all who live in it are his. | 1 The earth is Yahweh's, with its fullness; the world, and those who dwell therein. | 1 {Of David. A Psalm.} The earth is Jehovah's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. | 2 For He has founded it upon the seas And established it upon the rivers. | 2 For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods. | 2 He laid its foundation on the seas and set it firmly on the rivers. | 2 For he has founded it on the seas, and established it on the floods. | 2 For it was he that founded it upon seas, and established it upon floods. | 3 Who may ascend into the hill of the LORD? And who may stand in His holy place? | 3 Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? | 3 Who may go up the LORD's mountain? Who may stand in his holy place? | 3 Who may ascend to Yahweh's hill? Who may stand in his holy place? | 3 Who shall ascend into the mount of Jehovah? and who shall stand in his holy place? | 4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood And has not sworn deceitfully. | 4 He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. | 4 [The one who] has clean hands and a pure heart and does not long for what is false or lie when he is under oath. | 4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart; who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood, and has not sworn deceitfully. | 4 He that hath blameless hands and a pure heart; who lifteth not up his soul unto vanity, nor sweareth deceitfully: | 5 He shall receive a blessing from the LORD And righteousness from the God of his salvation. | 5 He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. | 5 [This person] will receive a blessing from the LORD and righteousness from God, his savior. | 5 He shall receive a blessing from Yahweh, righteousness from the God of his salvation. | 5 He shall receive blessing from Jehovah, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. | NASB | KJV | GWT | WEB | DBY |
| 6 This is the generation of those who seek Him, Who seek Your face-- even Jacob. Selah. | 6 This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Jehovah strong and mighty, Jehovah mighty in battle. | 9 Lift up your heads, O gates, And lift them up, O ancient doors, That the King of glory may come in! | 9 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. | 9 Lift your heads, you gates. Be lifted, you ancient doors, so that the king of glory may come in. | 9 Lift up your heads, you gates; yes, lift them up, you everlasting doors, and the King of glory will come in. | 9 Lift up your heads, ye gates; yea, lift up, ye everlasting doors, and the King of glory shall come in. | 10 Who is this King of glory?
