1 A Psalm of Asaph. The Mighty One, God, the LORD, has spoken, And summoned the earth from the rising of the sun to its setting.1 The mighty God, even the LORD, hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof.1 [A psalm by Asaph.] The LORD, the only true God, has spoken. He has summoned the earth from where the sun rises to where it sets.1 The Mighty One, God, Yahweh, speaks, and calls the earth from sunrise to sunset.1 {A Psalm. Of Asaph.} God, Elohim-Jehovah, hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof.
2 Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God has shone forth.2 Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined.2 God shines from Zion, the perfection of beauty.2 Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shines forth.2 Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined forth.
3 May our God come and not keep silence; Fire devours before Him, And it is very tempestuous around Him.3 Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.3 Our God will come and will not remain silent. A devouring fire is in front of him and a raging storm around him.3 Our God comes, and does not keep silent. A fire devours before him. It is very stormy around him.3 Our God will come, and will not keep silence: fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.
4 He summons the heavens above, And the earth, to judge His people:4 He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people.4 He summons heaven and earth to judge his people:4 He calls to the heavens above, to the earth, that he may judge his people:4 He will call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people:
5 "Gather My godly ones to Me, Those who have made a covenant with Me by sacrifice."5 Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.5 "Gather around me, my godly people who have made a pledge to me through sacrifices."5 "Gather my saints together to me, those who have made a covenant with me by sacrifice."5 Gather unto me my godly ones, those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice!

Selah.6 And the heavens shall declare his righteousness; for God executeth judgment himself. Selah.

8 "I do not reprove you for your sacrifices, And your burnt offerings are continually before Me.8 I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices or thy burnt offerings, to have been continually before me.8 I am not criticizing you for your sacrifices or burnt offerings, which are always in front of me.8 I don't rebuke you for your sacrifices. Your burnt offerings are continually before me.8 I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices, or thy burnt-offerings, continually before me;
9 "I shall take no young bull out of your house Nor male goats out of your folds.9 I will take no bullock out of thy house, nor he goats out of thy folds.9 [But] I will not accept [another] young bull from your household or a single male goat from your pens.9 I have no need for a bull from your stall, nor male goats from your pens.9 I will take no bullock out of thy house, nor he-goats out of thy folds:
10 "For every beast of the forest is Mine, The cattle on a thousand hills.10 For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills.10 Every creature in the forest, [even] the cattle on a thousand hills, is mine.10 For every animal of the forest is mine, and the livestock on a thousand hills.10 For every beast of the forest is mine, the cattle upon a thousand hills;

The wild animals of the field are mine.11 I know all the fowl of the mountains, and the roaming creatures of the field are mine:
12 "If I were hungry I would not tell you, For the world is Mine, and all it contains.12 If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof.12 If I were hungry, I would not tell you, because the world and all that it contains are mine.12 If I were hungry, I would not tell you, for the world is mine, and all that is in it.12 If I were hungry, I would not tell thee; for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof.
13 "Shall I eat the flesh of bulls Or drink the blood of male goats?13 Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?13 Do I eat the meat of bulls or drink the blood of goats?13 Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?13 Should I eat the flesh of bulls, and drink the blood of goats?
14 "Offer to God a sacrifice of thanksgiving And pay your vows to the Most High;14 Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High:14 Bring [your] thanks to God as a sacrifice, and keep your vows to the Most High.14 Offer to God the sacrifice of thanksgiving. Pay your vows to the Most High.14 Offer unto God thanksgiving, and perform thy vows unto the Most High;

You keep company with people who commit adultery.18 When you saw a thief, you consented with him, and have participated with adulterers.18 When thou sawest a thief, thou didst take pleasure in him, and thy portion was with adulterers;
19 "You let your mouth loose in evil And your tongue frames deceit.19 Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit.19 You let your mouth say anything evil. 21 "These things you have done and I kept silence; You thought that I was just like you; I will reprove you and state the case in order before your eyes.21 These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes.21 When you did these things, I remained silent. [That] made you think I was like you. I will argue my point with you and lay it all out for you to see.21 You have done these things, and I kept silent. You thought that I was just like you. I will rebuke you, and accuse you in front of your eyes.21 These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes.

Otherwise, I will tear you to pieces, and there will be no one left to rescue you.22 "Now consider this, you who forget God, lest I tear you into pieces, and there be none to deliver.22 Now consider this, ye that forget +God, lest I tear in pieces, and there be no deliverer.
