NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
1 For the choir director; on stringed instruments. A Maskil of David, when the Ziphites came and said to Saul, "Is not David hiding himself among us?" Save me, O God, by Your name, And vindicate me by Your power.1 Save me, O God, by thy name, and judge me by thy strength.1 [For the choir director; on stringed instruments; a [maskil] by David when people from the city of Ziph told Saul that David was hiding among them.] O God, save me by your name, and defend me with your might.1 Save me, God, by your name. Vindicate me in your might.1 {To the chief Musician. On stringed instruments: an instruction. Of David; when the Ziphites came, and said to Saul, Is not David hiding himself with us?} O God, by thy name save me, and by thy strength do me justice.
2 Hear my prayer, O God; Give ear to the words of my mouth.2 Hear my prayer, O God; give ear to the words of my mouth.2 O God, hear my prayer, and open your ears to the words from my mouth.2 Hear my prayer, God. Listen to the words of my mouth.2 O God, hear my prayer; give ear to the words of my mouth.
3 For strangers have risen against me And violent men have sought my life; They have not set God before them. Selah.3 For strangers are risen up against me, and oppressors seek after my soul: they have not set God before them. Selah.3 Strangers have attacked me. Ruthless people seek my life. They do not think about God. [Selah] 3 For strangers have risen up against me. Violent men have sought after my soul. They haven't set God before them. Selah.3 For strangers are risen up against me, and the violent seek after my life: they have not set God before them. Selah.
4 Behold, God is my helper; The Lord is the sustainer of my soul.4 Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul.4 God is my helper! The Lord is the provider for my life.4 Behold, God is my helper. The Lord is the one who sustains my soul.4 Behold, God is my helper; the Lord is among them that uphold my soul.
5 He will recompense the evil to my foes; Destroy them in Your faithfulness.5 He shall reward evil unto mine enemies: cut them off in thy truth.5 My enemies spy on me. Pay them back with evil. Destroy them with your truth!5 He will repay the evil to my enemies. Destroy them in your truth.5 He will requite evil to mine enemies: in thy truth cut them off.
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
6 Willingly I will sacrifice to You; I will give thanks to Your name, O LORD, for it is good.6 I will freely sacrifice unto thee: I will praise thy name, O LORD; for it is good.6 I will make a sacrifice to you along with a freewill offering. I will give thanks to your good name, O LORD.6 With a free will offering, I will sacrifice to you. I will give thanks to your name, Yahweh, for it is good.6 I will freely sacrifice unto thee; I will praise thy name, O Jehovah, because it is good.
7 For He has delivered me from all trouble, And my eye has looked with satisfaction upon my enemies.7 For he hath delivered me out of all trouble: and mine eye hath seen his desire upon mine enemies.7 Your name rescues me from every trouble. My eyes will gloat over my enemies.7 For he has delivered me out of all trouble. My eye has seen triumph over my enemies. For the Chief Musician. On stringed instruments. A contemplation by David.7 For he hath delivered me out of all trouble; and mine eye hath seen its desire upon mine enemies.
