1 A Psalm of Solomon. Give the king Your judgments, O God, And Your righteousness to the king's son.1 Give the king thy judgments, O God, and thy righteousness unto the king's son.1 [By Solomon.] O God, give the king your justice and the king's son your righteousness 1 God, give the king your justice; your righteousness to the royal son.1 {For Solomon.} O God, give the king thy judgments, and thy righteousness unto the king's son.
2 May he judge Your people with righteousness And Your afflicted with justice.2 He shall judge thy people with righteousness, and thy poor with judgment.2 so that he may judge your people with righteousness and your oppressed [people] with justice.2 He will judge your people with righteousness, and your poor with justice.2 He will judge thy people with righteousness, and thine afflicted with judgment.
3 Let the mountains bring peace to the people, And the hills, in righteousness.3 The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the little hills, by righteousness.3 May the mountains bring peace to the people and the hills bring righteousness.3 The mountains shall bring prosperity to the people. The hills bring the fruit of righteousness.3 The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the hills, by righteousness.
4 May he vindicate the afflicted of the people, Save the children of the needy And crush the oppressor.4 He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor.4 May he grant justice to the people who are oppressed. May he save the children of needy people and crush their oppressor.4 He will judge the poor of the people. He will save the children of the needy, and will break the oppressor in pieces.4 He will do justice to the afflicted of the people; he will save the children of the needy, and will break in pieces the oppressor.
5 Let them fear You while the sun endures, And as long as the moon, throughout all generations.5 They shall fear thee as long as the sun and moon endure, throughout all generations.5 May they fear you as long as the sun and moon [shine]- throughout every generation.5 They shall fear you while the sun endures; and as long as the moon, throughout all generations.5 They shall fear thee as long as sun and moon endure, from generation to generation.

6 May he come down like rain upon the mown grass, Like showers that water the earth.6 He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers that water the earth.6 May he be like rain that falls on [freshly] cut grass, like showers that water the land.6 He will come down like rain on the mown grass, as showers that water the earth.6 He shall come down like rain on the mown grass, as showers that water the earth.
7 In his days may the righteous flourish, And abundance of peace till the moon is no more.7 In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth.7 May righteous people blossom in his day. May there be unlimited peace until the moon no longer [shines].7 In his days, the righteous shall flourish, and abundance of peace, until the moon is no more.7 In his days shall the righteous flourish, and abundance of peace till the moon be no more.

10 Let the kings of Tarshish and of the islands bring presents; The kings of Sheba and Seba offer gifts.10 The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall bring presents: the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.10 May the kings from Tarshish and the islands bring presents. May the kings from Sheba and Seba bring gifts.10 The kings of Tarshish and of the islands will bring tribute. 11 And let all kings bow down before him, All nations serve him.11 Yea, all kings shall fall down before him: all nations shall serve him.11 May all kings worship him. 12 For he will deliver the needy when he cries for help, The afflicted also, and him who has no helper.12 For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no helper.12 He will rescue the needy person who cries for help and the oppressed person who has no one's help.12 For he will deliver the needy when he cries; the poor, who has no helper.12 For he will deliver the needy who crieth, and the afflicted, who hath no helper;
13 He will have compassion on the poor and needy, And the lives of the needy he will save.13 He shall spare the poor and needy, and shall save the souls of the needy.13 He will have pity on the poor and needy and will save the lives of the needy.13 He will have pity on the poor and needy. 16 May there be abundance of grain in the earth on top of the mountains; Its fruit will wave like the cedars of Lebanon; And may those from the city flourish like vegetation of the earth.16 There shall be an handful of corn in the earth upon the top of the mountains; the fruit thereof shall shake like Lebanon: and they of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.16 May there be plenty of grain in the land. May it wave [in the breeze] on the mountaintops, its fruit like [the treetops of] Lebanon. May those from the city flourish like the grass on the ground.16 Abundance of grain shall be throughout the land. Its fruit sways like Lebanon. Let it flourish, thriving like the grass of the field.16 There shall be abundance of corn in the earth, upon the top of the mountains; the fruit thereof shall shake like Lebanon; and they of the city shall bloom like the herb of the earth.
17 May his name endure forever; May his name increase as long as the sun shines; And let men bless themselves by him; Let all nations call him blessed.17 His name shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed.17 May his name endure forever. May his name continue as long as the sun [shines]. May all nations be blessed through him and call him blessed.17 His name endures forever. His name continues as long as the sun. Men shall be blessed by him. All nations will call him blessed.17 His name shall endure for ever; his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall bless themselves in him; all nations shall call him blessed.
18 Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, Who alone works wonders.18 Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things.18 Thank the LORD God, the God of Israel, who alone does miracles.18 Praise be to Yahweh God, the God of Israel, who alone does marvelous deeds.18 Blessed be Jehovah Elohim, the God of Israel, who alone doeth wondrous things!
19 And blessed be His glorious name forever; And may the whole earth be filled with His glory.
