3 There He broke the flaming arrows, The shield and the sword and the weapons of war. Selah.3 There brake he the arrows of the bow, the shield, and the sword, and the battle. 4 You are resplendent, More majestic than the mountains of prey.4 Thou art more glorious and excellent than the mountains of prey.4 You are the radiant one. You are more majestic than the ancient mountains. 4 Glorious are you, and excellent, more than mountains of game.4 More glorious art thou, more excellent, than the mountains of prey.
5 The stouthearted were plundered, They sank into sleep; And none of the warriors could use his hands.5 The stouthearted are spoiled, they have slept their sleep: and none of the men of might have found their hands.5 Brave people were robbed. They died. None of the warriors were able to lift a hand.5 Valiant men lie plundered, they have slept their last sleep. None of the men of war can lift their hands.5 The stout-hearted are made a spoil, they have slept their sleep; and none of the men of might have found their hands.

7 You, even You, are to be feared; And who may stand in Your presence when once You are angry?7 Thou, even thou, art to be feared: and who may stand in thy sight when once thou art angry?7 You alone must be feared! Who can stand in your presence when you become angry?7 You, even you, are to be feared. Who can stand in your sight when you are angry?7 Thou, thou art to be feared, and who can stand before thee when once thou art angry?
8 You caused judgment to be heard from heaven; The earth feared and was still8 Thou didst cause judgment to be heard from heaven; the earth feared, and was still,8 From heaven you announced a verdict. 10 For the wrath of man shall praise You; With a remnant of wrath You will gird Yourself.10 Surely the wrath of man shall praise thee: the remainder of wrath shalt thou restrain.10 Even angry mortals will praise you. You will wear the remainder of [their] anger. 10 Surely the wrath of man praises you. The survivors of your wrath are restrained.10 For the fury of man shall praise thee; the remainder of fury wilt thou gird on thyself.
